- "When the Sundari Historical Preservation Association asked me many years ago to present the countless battlefields of Mandalore in a travel guide, I would never have thought the success story of my work possible."
- ―Eloc Throno
The Sundari Historical Preservation Association was an organization that partnered with historian Eloc Throno to author Mandalorian Battlefield Tours, a book regarding the Mandalorians,[1] a group of warriors.[3] Throno mentioned the book, along with its co-author, in his Traveler's Guide to Batuu,[1] which was published in 34 ABY.[4] They later requested Throno publish a supplement, titled "Mandalorians Through the Ages," for the tenth edition of Mandalorian Battlefield Tours.[2] The group shared its name with Sundari,[1] the capital city of the world of Mandalore.[5]
Behind the scenes
The Sundari Historical Preservation Association was introduced in the 2020 reference book Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu, which was written by Cole Horton.[1]

- ↑ Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu establishes that at the time of the book's setting the Resistance was based on Batuu. Star Wars: Timelines dates both the establishment of the Batuu Resistance base and its eventual relocation to Ajan Kloss to 34 ABY. Therefore, the in-universe guide must have been authored that year.
