Dubraib was a waterworld[2] in the Cegul sector's Dubraib system,[4] located in the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Western Reaches,[3] It was situated in grid square M-20 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] During the High Republic Era, the Galactic Republic designated a section of the Outer Rim[5]—which included Dubraib[2]—as the Galactic Frontier, worlds considered far removed enough from the galaxy's center to send explorers to.[5] In 231 BBY,[6] the Jedi Master Gil Jaretto traveled to the Starlight Beacon space station from Dubraib.[2]
Behind the scenes
Dubraib was first mentioned in part two of "Starlight: Hidden Danger," a short story written by Justina Ireland as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[2] Phase I.[7] The story was published in the 204th issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic: Starlight serialized fiction[2] on August 10, 2021.[8]
