File:CommandosConfrontBane-HC.jpg File:Unidentified Senate Commando captain 3.jpg File:ShadowSquadron.jpg|Matchstick and Broadside Can you upload me two images for the Unidentified Senate Commando captain. One when he talks to Bane and when he is killed. --Clone Commander Lee 17:56, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
- Also can you find another picture of Broadside ? --Clone Commander Lee 18:52, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
- Done on the Senate Commando captain. Will be uploaded momentarily. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 00:40, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Would you give me something more to go on for Broadside? A particular scene that you'd like a screenshot of? I've got one of him with Matchstick leaning over his right shoulder talking to him at the mission briefing? Would that work? - JMAS Hey, it's me! 00:40, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yes that would be great. Thanks again JMAS. --Clone Commander Lee 09:56, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

The Hidden Enemy audio file
Hey JMAS, when you get the time, do you think you could upload the audio file for Punch's bio quote? I had to do some shuffling around when I nommed it for GA, so I think I might have removed what was already there. Thanks. CC7567 (talk) 16:24, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- You got it. I'll get to that soon. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 16:34, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh, and thanks for uploading that new image of Bane for the project page. :P CC7567 (talk) 16:25, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thought it might be nice to get a newer image of him, a sneak peak from Season Two. :D - JMAS Hey, it's me! 16:34, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, about those audio files, uuuh, could you possibly upload the Characteristics quote for here? Please?--Kreivi Wolter 19:55, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thx.--Kreivi Wolter 13:44, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Bane image
Hey JMAS, do you think you could either upload a better version of your first upload for this image, or revert it back, whichever you think is better? The reason I'm asking is because Bane looks a little...odd...with his current expression, and I think the first time was better. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 07:32, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- I think the reason I didn't get the larger screengrab of that exact same fram was because I couldn't without it being blurry. I reverted back to the previous version. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 12:17, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
picturesource
Hello JMAS, I have a question about the source of File:MCQ-mccruiser.jpg. I mean it is definitely a picture of Ralph Mc Quarrie and is still on his webpage but it is not in included in The Illustrated Star Wars Universe. On his webpage you just receive a low quality picture instead of this and I am really interested where you have got this picture from.(JP)Darth Vader 00:12, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- I found it a long time ago on a (now-defunct) forum that had it listed as TISWU as the source. I've corrected it. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 00:30, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
TOR trailer image request
Hey JMAS, I was wondering if I could get an image of the Sith starfighters from the TOR Deceived trailer. Whenever you get the chance. Thank you. Darth Trayus 30px (Trayus Academy) 04:26, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- About to head to bed tonight, so I'll work on that tomorrow for ya. Just a head's up though, it's gonna be pretty small, even with the HD trailer, - JMAS Hey, it's me! 04:31, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- I took several screenshots, and the two I added are the clearest, best looking ones I could get. It's tough to get a decent shot because they are in motion and flying fast. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 22:11, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thats okay, those work perfectly. I just didn't want it to get image tagged when there were some available. Thanks! Darth Trayus 30px (Trayus Academy) 01:58, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Barb Mentir request
JMAS could you upload me two images of Barb Mentir. One when he talks to Falso and one when he is killed. --Clone Commander Lee 18:13, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- The one of him talking to Falso, do you want it when they are both sitting down towards the beginning of the episode, or later when Mentir reports back that there were survivors to his shooting down of the shuttle? - JMAS Hey, it's me! 23:41, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- I went ahead an uploaded the one of him and Falso sitting at the table together. Added both to the article also. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 00:09, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Could you also give me three quotes of Mentir. One when he asks Falso about Ohnaka during their first talk, the second when he reports to Falso that the shuttle had crashed in the doshar fields and one when he asks Falso why they leave without the spice. I would do it myslef, but I only have them in German and translation wouldn't be correct. --Clone Commander Lee 14:21, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Sure thing. I'll post here when I've got it done. Plus, I'm sure you've got the article on your watchlist, so you'll see when I get it done. :) - JMAS Hey, it's me! 14:23, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Hey JMAS, I see that you replaced the older Unidentified clone chief medic image with a better looking one. However, could you upload the previous image, with the medic looking up at the Kaminoian? user image
thumb|right|250px Hello there. I would like a new user image, and I have removed the CMDO droid pic from my caption page. Are you able to get the image of cad bane from the soundboard page for me? Also, how do you get the images for the web comics, if it's a link, can you give it to me? Thanks so much. P.S. - Not sure about the second request. Regarding the comics, I extract the files from my browser cache. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 13:33, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
- Okay. Don't bother with SSS. I also removed nahdar flanked from my user page, so i'd like to ask for ki-adi showing his face), and mace and kit from TCW S2 trailer. If that's not too big a deal. Thanks, you are so friendly to everyone.:)--Kigon 13:38, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ki-Adi is at about 1:38, and Kit and Mace are at about 2:13 (on SW.com Vid Player). For mw and kf, without mace's hand covering kit's face. This is all only if you have the time, and are willing to do it. I only said this to tell you specifically what it is, I really hope this doesn't make you feel rushed. Just take your time.--Kigon 18:30, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, if you want the Windu/Fisto one, it's gonna have to be with Windu's hand outstretched. That scene flashes by so fast, that any other place I try and pause, it's blurry. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 18:34, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
- Okay. I'll still take Ki-Adi, but instead of MW/KF, how 'bout ahsoka in commando suit right before that?If that doesn't work, then just ki-adi will do. Thanks.:)--Kigon 18:53, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Image of Saul Karath
Hello, JMAS. I wanted to ask you if [this image from this site would be OK for you to upload. I'm working on improving Karath's article, and thought this would be a good addition for the article. It seems legit.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 16:35, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- Honestly, I'm certain that it is official, considering the LA logo on the image, but that site is not an officially licensed site, so unless you can verify that at some point, it used to be on the official LucasArts site, so I can put that as the original source, with the new site link as the current location, I'm not sure it will fly. Might want to ask an admin about it, like Toprawa and Ralltiir maybe. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 23:46, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Bail Organa speeder image
"Do you see how blurry that is?"
Only at its full size, which is nearly three thousand pixels larger than the other upload. If you see them at equal sizes, you'll see that my upload is a vast improvement. Drewton 20px (Drewton's Holocron) 23:40, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- How it us judged here is by how it looks at full size. I'm not saying I completely agree with that, but that is the standard. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 23:48, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- Then I'd say that that DVD images from the OT should be used rather than the supposed "HD" versions, because the only "HD" versions that have been shown are simply upscales and poor ones. The DVD images definitely look better than the HD ones at their full size.
Would you be fine with it if I shrunk the Bail image I uploaded to 1920x1080? Drewton 20px (Drewton's Holocron) 23:52, 3 August 2009 (UTC)- Darth Culator would be who'd I'd suggest you ask. What I can tell you is this: Taking an image that is native size of, say for example, 1920x1080 resolution and simply blowing it up to 3400px by whatever resolution is bad, and make a horrible image quality. Taking that blown up image and simply shrinking it down to a smaller size isn't going to improve the quality of the image. Culator, I believe, has all 6 films in HD. You might want to ask him if he is able to get an actual 1080p resolution screencap of that to replace it. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 23:59, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- I didn't upscale it to whatever resolution it was myself, it was actually released in February, 2005 and I and found it in that exact resolution on several sites. It was also the same spoiler report I got this image from and that good even in its full resolution. I can tell you for sure that it will look better than the aired HD version, because correctly if I'm wrong, judging by images such as this one, that too was just an upscaled DVD version. And from what I can tell, the 3000/4000px images are 1080p upscales. Drewton 20px (Drewton's Holocron) 00:06, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- I don't doubt you, and I know as I have many images from sites like that as well. What I can tell you is that in the past, where I did the exact same thing you did, someone reverted it, usually with a snide remark to go with it, and the old revisions were deleted. With that said, I do apologize if my reversion remarks were harsh or snide. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 00:12, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

- It really depends on where it comes from. The HD releases of the prequel and original trilogy were proper high-def video, as they rescanned episodes 1 and 4-6 from the original negative to a 1920x1080p format (and 35mm film is natively higher resolution than 1080p) and episodes 2 and 3 were 1080-digital to begin with. They actually made a bit of a fuss about it when they came out back in 2006 (at least I heard a lot of fuss since I work for a cable company). But publicity stills made from individual film frames could be scanned for reprinting at as high as 600 DPI (if I remember correctly) which would translate to about 4800 pixels wide, assuming you find one that's natively that big rather than just a blown-up 480p or 1080i/p frame, which would be very rare. Then things get especially confusing when you throw in scenes that are entirely CGI, because those were rendered higher than the release format so I have no idea how big they could actually get, again assuming that you get them in a naturally large format rather than just upscaled. I know some of the episode 2 and 3 scenes that got released as wallpapers could be as big as 2560 pixels wide without showing signs of pixelation. (As far as TCW goes, I think the best we can do with any degree of certainty is the Blu-Ray release.) Also, there's the fact that there are really two different releases of the movies in HD, the North American version and the European version. The European version was both MPEG-4 and higher bandwidth compared to the MPEG-2 version that HBO released in North America, so the European version is both sharper and has better color range, but still maxes out at 1920x1080 (which translates to 1920x816 with the letterboxing), and I still haven't found a copy of the European versions that I trust, so all my shots have to be cleaned up a bit (artifacts and contrast, mostly). Finally, and I'm pretty sure this is the last thing, there's both an original-aspect-ratio release and a cropped 16x9 release of all six films. I've never gotten an answer from anyone who would actually know, but I'm pretty sure the 1080/1.78:1 release is upscaled from the 1080/2.35:1 stock. So, the TL;DR version: We're really better off not going any bigger than 1920 pixels wide for any given film frame unless we're certain of the source, and we can't be certain of most (nearly all, really) websites. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 01:39, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Sorry to bother you with another requets, but I need images for a bunch of articles. There's no need to upload anything just a bunch of articles could benefit from more images:
As you can see, they all cover pretty much the same topic, and all could benefit from more images. You must know out existing image database pretty well, so I'm asking if you could just re-use some of the existing ones for those articles. Basically, everything Force-related will do. Thanks in advance. P.S. Did you notice the Galactic Hunters response I left on my talk page?MauserComlink 11:22, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Nist
Hey, JMAS. I've noticed that you have the audio dramatization of Dark Empire II listed in your collection. I'm currently working on Xecr Nist and trying to discover who portrayed him there. Myself, I only have MP3 files ripped from the actual CD, and while the narrator lists some voice actors at the end, the one who portrayed Nist is not among them. I suppose that his name may be written somewhere on the CD itself or something. Could you please check it? Thanks, QuiGonJinn 20px(Talk) 13:13, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

- Yes. Though, did you just crop down the image, or did you actually shrink it? If you didn't actually shrink the image size, but just cropped it down to the current size, then just re-crop it down to 250px wide and yes, re-upload it over the existing image. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 14:32, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Green Company
File:GreenCompany-CoD.jpg Hey JMAS, could you upload a image of Green Company from "Cloak of Darkness"? The scene is when Green Company runs toward the Tranquility's hangar, after Gree tells them to "Repel the enemy". JangFett Talk 22:12, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Extinction
Hmm...how do you want to do this then? If you feel you've got one of sufficient quality, go ahead & scan it & I'll cancel my request of Red. Of course, if he feels he can provide a better one he'll just upload a new version anyway, but I don't mind you helping me out one bit. I just don't want to run into a conflict like we did in the past...lol. Let me know what you think.—Tommy9281 17px (Talk) 19:55, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- Hey. Take a look at the quote here, and then look at the one here. What's up with that? Are there differences between the actual comic and the collected version in Star Wars Tales 2? And actually, I don't want that image I asked Red for anymore, so I'm going to tell him not to scan it. You don't have to either, of course. I'm just going to use what we've already got. Thanks.—Tommy9281 17px (Talk) 04:48, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- There must be. I have the collected edition in Star Wars Tales Volume 1 which is where all my scans from Extinction came from. The quote you have in the article is nowhere in the SWT Vol 1 version. She never calls him Anakin, only Skywalker. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 05:00, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- So the combined Extinction version was released after the Star Wars Tales one? That's interesting. I wonder why they would change the dialogue up. Anyway, I was thinking I'd need to add a BtS note myself, but I didn't have the full conversation to do so from. I wouldn't mind the scan when you get home, but if you feel so inclined, by all means—feel free to add a note in the BtS. I'll take whatever help I can get. Thanks alot.—Tommy9281 17px (Talk) 14:28, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- The original release was split into two parts. The first half was in Star Wars Tales 1 and the second half was in Star Wars Tales 2. Then they were combined in the TPB commpilation of Star Wars Tales Volume 1, which is where they changed it. I'm assuming you own the individual SWT issues 1 and 2? Because I don't own those, I can't confirm thee quote you have in the article now. All I know is, that dialogue is found nowhere in the combined version that I have in the TPB. And why they would change the wording is a mystery to me. As it's your article, I'll leave the wording of a Bts note to you, but you can see how I worded my note in the BtS section of the Extinction article to see the differing dialogue. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 14:47, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah I've got the two separate ones. I've added a BtS note reflecting the differences. Thanks again for all your help.—Tommy9281 17px (Talk) 15:04, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Adding sound clips to QOTDs
Feel free to add a sound file. There shouldn't be a formatting problem as long as you replace Quote with Qlisten and Dialogue with Dialoguelisten and Dialogue2 with Dialogue2listen. If the quote happens to be a dialogue more complex than that, you'll need to futz with the internal coding. Enochf 15:52, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Clones
Are you sure that the "(clone)" suffix is better than the "(clone trooper)"? There were other clones in the galaxy: Palpatine clones, Imperial non-Fett clones, Trawn's Spaarti clones etc. The "(clone trooper)" cleary says that this individual was a Fett clone who fought in the Clone Wars and therefore is less ambigous. Perharps Slick and Axe should be moved to this version instead? MauserComlink 01:29, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- Didn't think of that. I just selected the precedent that I saw more instances of, which was using just (clone). Honestly, in the long run, I don't see it making a difference. In a way it's setting a precedent that any clone uses the (clone) designator, so it's across the board. The intro to any article is going to immediately indicate that they were clone troopers of the Fett line. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 01:33, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- Well, yes, the intro will clarify the issue, but when naming the article we should pick most descriptive names. We have Unidentified clone trooper, not Unidentified clone conjecture articles. MauserComlink 01:37, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- True. Hmm. Not sure on it. I've now got them all at (clone). Not sure if this is worth a CT or not though. *shrug* If you feel that strongly about it, you can create a CT about it, or you can revert all the moves I just did, though many of them done by others previously will require an admin deleting a page to make way for a move back. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 01:42, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- I think this matter is not worth a CT. Since we now both agree that "Clone trooper" is more descriptive, let's just move them back and set a new precedent. MauserComlink 01:47, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- Well, if you move them back, make sure it's at (clone trooper), don't capitalize the C in clone. ;) - JMAS Hey, it's me! 01:52, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Unidentified Sith (Sacking of Coruscant)
Until the guy in the wallpaper is confirmed to be the same Sith as the one in the trailer, do not change/move the article. Additionally, I dislike being left out of the decision-making in this particular case, given that I GA'd this character. So kindly, do not do anything like that again without first talking to me—especially given the fact that it's speculation (and fanon) to say both Sith are the same. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 20:07, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- And maybe I'm misinterpreting what you've done. If you're implying that the Coruscant Sith is a Warrior just because both Sith look similar, I'd still rather not call him a Sith Warrior until some source actually does. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 20:14, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- I do apologize for jumping the gun and not bringing it up with you. Look at the face, at the mouthpiece, at the chest piece, at the entire outfit - the two are identical. Also, if you look at the HoloNet representation of the Sith Warrior class ... no the same individual. So that fact that the identical-looking character is portrayed on the wallpaper... it's all but certainly the same person. But, once again, I am sorry for stepping on toes. Was not my intention. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 23:32, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Can't believe I still haven't ask you for any TCW screenshots so far. =) Anyway, I need two images from Lair of Grievous. One of the Vassek (the real Vassek, not the moon) I have already uploaded at :File:Vassek.jpg, I'd like you get a high-res version of it. The second one I need is one the Vassek system itself - the one in the very first minute of the episode. Thanks in advance. MauserComlink 12:23, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

right|thumb|100px Hey JMAS, if you're not busy, could you upload a image of Riyo Chuchi? In "Trespass," I would like a close up shot of her face. I'm about to rewrite her article soon and the latter only has one image :P JangFett Talk 12:38, September 4, 2009 (UTC)
Silka bead
For Silka bead, you can find a image fully showing Ahsoka's braid. :) In Jedi Crash, Ahsoka turns her head and reveals her braid. The shot just shows her back, however, you can clearly see the braid near her back-of-the-head headtail. If I recall, the scene is after Bly interrupts both Aayla and Ahsoka near the injured Anakin. CadQuick-DrawBaneDB
I'm assuming it is something about uploading to Wikia but I thought that your upload of :File:CadQuick-DrawBane-DB.jpg was rather poor quality (lots of compression artifacts) so I uploaded a new version that at first glance (by resizing it in GIMP to match my preview of your one here) looked much cleaner. I then upload it and find that it is no better (cache was refreshed and I checked it with Chrome) so I reverted it. There were no artifacts on GIMP, same thing on Wikia and artifacts appear... Anyway, I just wanted to let you know why I seemingly messed with it and didn't actually accomplish anything. Thanks -Nayayen18pxtalk 20:18, September 12, 2009 (UTC)

I noticed that you opposed one of my Ahsoka quotes on the basis that it was incorrect, but in fact the episode guide confirms it to be correct. If you would please review the guide and consider striking or changing your vote, that would be appreciated. Thanks. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 18:04, September 15, 2009 (UTC)
- The episode guide is incorrect. I have the audio file directly from the aired episode. So what they have on the episode guide may have been scripted at one time, but it was changed for the aired episode. It's no different than a deleted scene. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 18:09, September 15, 2009 (UTC)

Felucia battles
This is a huge disappointment by LFL to do this. Out of all the planets in the galaxy, they have to go back to Geonosis and Felucia. 9_9 Anyway, I see that you moved Battle of Felucia to Second Battle of Felucia (Clone Wars). However, CC and I had this discussion months ago and we decided that we'd wait or else let someone else take care of the battle article. Do you mind if I move it back to its appropriate article until the name of the battle is actually confirmed? I know it might be a while, but NEC confirms that the original Felucia battle was called "Battle of Felucia" and the new one is conjectural. Replacing the original with a conjecture title isn't right, in my opinion. I'll wait until you respond man. :) JangFett (Talk) 02:11, September 27, 2009 (UTC)

LOE cover
Okay, why exactly would we need image of a cover that was never printed, when we have no evidence of it ever being official? MauserComlink 17:01, October 2, 2009 (UTC)
- We have articles here on canceled projects, books/novels that were announced, release dates set, and then got canceled. To me, this falls in the same category. It was obviously a designed cover that never made it to production. It simply adds to the diversity of coverage to the cover gallery. In other words, it's not hurting anything to keep it. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 17:07, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

- No, the Ep Guide images are very high quality, but not as big height by width-wise. I'm not willing to pay money for the episodes on iTunes frankly. But I have another source which will become available soon, usually with a couple days, sometimes as long as a week. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 13:53, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

Devaron "Padawan"
Culator said you were the one who spotted my ridiculous and embarrassing mistake, I just wanted to say thanks!--Demos Traxen 19:09, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
- No problem. Didn't want to embarrass you, but I have to say, it made me laugh. Honestly, I can understand how you made that mistaken assumption, especially if tired as you stated on Culator's talk page. I'm made some pretty ridiculous errors when trying to edit while barely awake myself. :) - JMAS Hey, it's me! 19:22, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
Re: Infobox image
I think it might work a little better if the crop got in slightly more of the top of his head; he looks rather flatheaded in that screenshot. Other than that, I think it'll work fine; thanks for the suggestion. CC7567 (talk) 23:40, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
- Right now, I guess that "Cargo of Doom" image is our best bet. The "Hostage Crisis" one you linked might work, but his glare makes him look like a psychopath. If you could crop the CoD image off just slightly above where his inner vest opens up, it should balance it out and lessen the flathead issue. Thanks for your help. CC7567 (talk) 00:08, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm...actually, would it be okay to get a crop for this image? It doesn't have him facing directly at the "camera", but it's a broader image and shows slightly more expression. CC7567 (talk) 00:33, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
Ahsoka Infobox image
File:AhsokaHS-CoD.jpg|From Cargo of Doom File:Ahsoka closeup.jpg|Closeup face shot from Duel of the Droids File:AhsokaSnarky-CoD.jpg|A new option Hey, JMAS. I saw that you came up with a new Cad Bane infobox image. I was thinking of replacing the Ahsoka infobox image as well. Instead of that HS promotional shot, perhaps a screenshot of her face from either late into season one, or possibly from Holocron Heist or Cargo of Doom. What do you think? :) JangFett (Talk) 23:42, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I'd disagree in the case of Ahsoka. Because she's got the Montrals and head-tails, I wouldn't recommend going in any closer on hers. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 23:59, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
- Always a good time to experiment with her images, though. :) While I won't place the new infobox image in the current Ahsoka article, I will place it in my Ahsoka workbench for now. See how it works out, and if it doesn't work, I'll go back to the old HS infobox image. :) JangFett (Talk) 00:04, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

Re: TCW VG Ultimate Battles
Nothing besides the distinction that it was the crystal that held the information, not the holocron, and that Bane captured Ropal "to use the holocron to unlock the crystal." Good luck clearing that up; the episode guides don't appear to be very consistent. CC7567 (talk) 02:28, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
- "Memory crystal" only, hence how I formatted it in the article's sources. CC7567 (talk) 03:53, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
Bolla Ropal
Hey JMAS, could I get an image of Bolla Ropal being dragged onto Bane's shuttle as seen in the intro to "Cargo of Doom"? Many thanks in advanced. Darth Trayus 30px (Trayus Academy) 03:11, October 6, 2009 (UTC)
- Sure, I'll get that for you tomorrow. Would you also like one of him laying dead when Ahsoka found him? - JMAS Hey, it's me! 04:10, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

- Thank you very much. The one of him being dragged through the ship will be fine for now, but if you could upload the one on Devaron when you can obtain it, that would be greatly appreciated. I've also replaced the comic image as you requested. Darth Trayus 30px (Trayus Academy) 06:26, October 7, 2009 (UTC)

Denal
Hey, JMAS. Would you be able to provide a couple of images of Denal from "Cargo of Doom?" Oh, and sound files for the quotes would be nice too ) Thanks. QuiGonJinn 20px(Talk) 05:32, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

Uploading ogg files
JMAS, I know you upload many TCW sound files so I was wondering if you could help me. I'm trying to upload audio for KotOR I & II but the first few words got cut off (File:903903SION119.ogg) after uploading. I'm doing the standard process for converting it to ogg: decompress the game's wav files (they're called wav but seem to be mp3) to mp3 with Miles then convert it with oggDrop at 64kb/s to an ogg. When I play back the ogg it sounds fine and with nothing cut out but when I upload it here it then has the start cut off. Do you know of any reason for it doing this? Thanks, Nayayen18px(talk) 21:47, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
- I use a different process personally. I use FormatFactory to directly take WMA audio from the video files. Then I use Windows Movie Maker to trim the files down to just what I need and then FormatFactory again to covert to OGG. But as to it seeming as though part is cut off when you upload it, I've experienced the same thing. I don't think the file has actually been cut off during upload. I more think it's a browser issue, the ogg file starts playing and it's a second or two into the file before the in-browser default player actually starts the sound. The reason I'm fairly certain of this is that I've downloaded the uploaded file I thought was no good back to the hard drive and it plays fine. That make sense? - JMAS Hey, it's me! 23:27, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
- Though regarding that file you linked to, I think it might be a corrupted file. I downloaded it and I can't get it to play in Win Media Player, RealPlayer, VLC Media Player or Nero Media Player. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 23:31, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm, very odd. I can listen to it fine on VLC, Miles, RealPlayer and KMP (which can play pretty much anything) but not WMP. Oddly, if I play the wav I converted it from in WMP it sounds awful (well, it actually sounds quite cool) as if it was too loud. Even odder is the fact that it sounds fine again in VLC, KMP and Miles. I'll try FormatFactory and see if that works. I'm fairly sure it isn't a browser issue because I use Firefox and it can play this fine, for example. Nayayen18px(talk) 12:38, October 8, 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I tried FormatFactory and it doesn't seem to be different. The problem is that the wav files are not recognized as proper wavs and VLC and KMP play static whilst WMP & Realplayer don't do anything. If I go to Miles Sound Studio and then to
File Infoit says that it is an MP3. So, rename the wav to an MP3 and decompress it with Miles to get a wav that Miles, VLC, Realplayer & KMP can play with no problems. I can play this wav in WMP as well, but then it has the same issue of sounding as if it was too loud (if that makes sense). Convert this wav (which FF can play fine in the preview) to an ogg with FF. Now, this ogg sounds fine in Miles and KMP but in VLC, playback starts at the same point that the version on here does and sounds fine. If I pause it during play and then drag the slider to 0 (ie. the proper start) it will play as it should (and does in Miles & KMP). That is everything step-by-step, I don't know if I've done something wrong or what. If you want, I can email you the original wav (from the game files) and you can try yourself. Nayayen18px(talk) 13:43, October 8, 2009 (UTC)

The CW project keeps rolling on
Heya JMAS, I wanted to ask about the images of the CW series. Im working now on the article Unidentified IG-86 sentinel droid 1, and I need few images for it. So, could you upload them, please? I need an image which show Bane, Alama and the droids on the speeder, flying to the senate. Ya can see it during the newsreel. Then, I need and image of the destroyed droid, from Alama's view when he is on the stairs. And the last one, the droid using his electric torch while searching of Skywalker. Thanks. Once I get the article updated, I'll see if I can implement it. CC7567 (talk) 04:25, October 9, 2009 (UTC)

Re: Mission to Naboo
Thanks, JMAS. I'll fix that. :) Also, this episode wasn't that impressive. It's on iTunes right now, but not in perfect quality. JangFett (Talk) 18:15, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not willing to pay for each episode or even prepay for the entire season in iTunes. LOL I'll wait for my other sources to come through. Does the iTunes version present the widescreen format without the Cartoon Network logo or the retarded US full-screen format with the blasted CN logo? - JMAS Hey, it's me! 18:19, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, the iTunes version doesn't have that stupid CN logo in the bottom, right-hand corner. It's also in wide screen format, although not in HD. My Season One episodes do contain them, and they're in HD. I don't like to pay for each episode; however, I'm not willing to wait until March 2010 to download them from my source. ;) JangFett (Talk) 18:22, October 10, 2009 (UTC)

Hi there. I saw that you, among others, uses some technique to remove the print dots (or halftones, or artifacts, whatever it's named) from scanned images. Is that a Photoshop plugin or something?... Klow 10:20, October 13, 2009 (UTC)

Sound files and quote sourcing
Hey. When you upload OGG files and use a quote or dialogue template for the description field, please source the quote in the quote template as I've done here. I realize you are providing the source in the appropriate field of the Information template, but not defining the source in the quote or dialogue template causes the page to be placed in Category:Unsourced quotes, which is currently filled with hundreds of sound files. I'm in the process of sourcing some of them to get them out of that category, but if you could make sure you do this with future uploads, it would be appreciated. Thanks. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 01:58, October 15, 2009 (UTC)

Ion pulse cannon
Hey JMAS, are you seeing that image as not updating in the article Ion pulse cannon? Because it seems to have cached fine there, and the thumbnail on the file page should fix itself soon enough, so are you sure it needs to be moved? Cheers, Grunny (Talk) 15:30, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
- I've logged out, cleared my browser cache and logged back in and the upload record thumbnail on the file page and image in the infobox on the pulse cannon page still show the old revision scrunched to the new image size. But I am on an older Win2000 machine at work. "Landing brick" ship
Hi JMAS, I noticed you changed name of article F7 "Landing Brick to F7 drop ship with explanation: nicknames don't got in article titles. I agree, however according The Thrawn Trilogy Sourcebook name of this ship is Landing Brick F7. I think it should be changed to that name, cause drop ship is under the type and skill. And also it would be nice to include in article it's a type of medium troop drop ship and other info. What do you think? Also am I right to assume this is the same type of ship used for stealing mole miners in First Battle of Nomad City during Thrawn campaign?--Jedi Marty 02:52, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

- There are a couple options in that request. Do you want the farther away shot of them hunkering down amongst the crates with the blaster fire crisscrossing around them. Or one close in shot of them while using the crates for cover? - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 01:44, November 2, 2009 (UTC)
- Eh, I think the first option. Jonjedigrandmaster (Jedi Beacon) 01:47, November 2, 2009 (UTC)
- Here you go, but there is one downside. Because the entire scene is action, hence they are moving, pretty much every shot possible is somewhat blurry. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 16:14, November 2, 2009 (UTC)
- That works fine, thanks JMAS Jonjedigrandmaster (Jedi Beacon) 18:27, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

Re:Battle of Devaron
Thank you, JMAS. :) I'll use this instead of that "newsreel" shot for the infobox. JangFett (Talk) 00:05, November 3, 2009 (UTC)
File:Okins.jpg
Hey, JMAS, might I wonder how did you get such a good version of File:Okins.jpg, without the card stats blocking the main image? Thank you. MauserComlink 13:58, November 3, 2009 (UTC)
- I used the blending tool in Photoshop. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 14:02, November 3, 2009 (UTC)
- Well, since you're good at PS (which I suck at), could you please do some magic on this TCG image? If I simply crop the logo, it would look ugly, so I'd like you to blend the logo. Oh, and the image is meant to replace the bottom picture at the Battle of Restuss. Thank you for your time. MauserComlink 06:35, November 5, 2009 (UTC)
- Done, and added to the article. Some of those wallpapers are nearly impossible to blend that logo out. That one was fairly simple as it was just clouds/sky around it. I've actually had that one ready and done since the wallpaper first came on the SWG site, but just had nowhere to put it. :) - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 13:03, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

Re: Cad Bane (again)
Thanks for the suggestion about the tubeless picture, but for now, I don't think there's room or cause to implement it. CC7567 (talk) 19:54, November 3, 2009 (UTC)
- I have to double-check it when I get back home, but I can remember that it's specifically referred to as "raid on Ziro the Hutt's Coruscant [bar, establishment, or some other related word I can't remember]," with that exact capitalization. That may take care of the conjecture title as long as you keep it capitalized that way. However, I would go back and check your sources to verify whether the "Ziro's Palace" part is fine as it currently is or should instead be "Ziro Desilijic Tiure's Palace" or "Ziro the Hutt's Palace." Image Request: Robonino
I realised that Robonino is lacking some images and his infobox image looks a bit blurry with the grey in the back ground so would you mind uploading a few good images please.--Sean Red 21:15, November 3, 2009 (UTC)
- There isn't a screenshot that would be better for the infobox that the current one and there is no room in the article to warrant more images. It seems as though he will be appearing in Season Two at some point and more images I'm sure will come with his expansion. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 22:43, November 3, 2009 (UTC)
