R-3PO
Hey JMAS, just curious where you found the new R-3PO Hasbro picture. Is that on a website anyplace, or do you know if it's from a specific toyline, etc? Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir 17:15, August 11, 2010 (UTC)
- The image is on the artist website, marked only as "Hasbro toy line" or something like that. Doing a little research I confirmed it on the RebelScum entry and one other site. I forgot to put the specific toy line in source. That's been fixed now. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 17:38, August 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Good deal. Thanks for your help. Toprawa and Ralltiir 17:40, August 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Regarding Han's hand coming across the torso, that's the way it's displayed on the artist website :\ so there's not much I can do about it. But I still figured a facing-forward image was better for the infobox. I hope that's ok with you. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 17:43, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

Coruscant
Thanks, I appreciate the advice and the image. As I'm working on the article, I can't believe how much information was added and not sourced! And just in general, I don't understand how an article like this could be left to go to seed. At any rate, thanks for the advice, I'll put the image in. Coruscantfan 15:26, August 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, I was wondering if I could get your opinion on the Inhabitants section. Would it be better to 1 leave it as is; 2 trim down the names listed; 3 add more info; 4 remove the notable citizens information/section to the Coruscanti article; 5 something I haven't thought of. If you could let me know I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Coruscantfan 00:46, August 14, 2010 (UTC)
- I would say remove all the individuals/family sections, and just have it be the Notable citizens paragraph followed by the Government and politics section. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 05:13, August 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Ok thanks. Coruscantfan 05:32, August 14, 2010 (UTC)
- If you feel so inclinded, you could also mention, in paragraph form, that certain well known individuals and families, such as the Solo's, Skywalkers, Palpatine, etc all maintained residences on Coruscant. I'd put it right in the Notable citizens section. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 05:40, August 14, 2010 (UTC)
- With an article like Coruscant would it be better to link where the subject is first mentioned, or where it is more "common sense"? Example: Galactic Republic first links under Galactic Republic in the history section rather than under Description. Coruscantfan 23:38, August 20, 2010 (UTC)
- With an article as extensive as Coruscant, I think you can link to something more than once. My understanding is that it can be linked in in once section, and then say 2 sections later, linked to again. By sections, I think they mean ==History== headings, not ===The Old Republic=== and then also a ===Clone Wars=== subheading of the History section. Make sense? - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 23:45, August 20, 2010 (UTC)

But anything I'm able to help with, I'm more than happy to. Just let me know. I'm actually considering starting to do some contributing to the LifeMusic Wiki. Nightlily
Hey, JMAS. I believe you have Nightlily: The Lovers Tale audio drama. Did the female Modbrek mention that she had found a job at Lady Val's or was it something else? Also, could you check what were the names of that woman who was buying sand pearls in the introduction and the captain who met Feltipern at Docking Bay 9. I think it was something like Narva and Hossel (Hassle?), respectively. I just want to make sure that I've heard everything right. QuiGonJinn 20px(Talk) 21:12, August 19, 2010 (UTC)

- The Modbrek female was going to be a tunic checker at Lady Val's. The sand pearl lady's name is Narva. The Docking Bay 9 captain's name is definitely Hossel or Hossle, not Hassel or Hassle. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 12:48, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

Do you actually understand why the change was made? Or did you just revert the change without checking to see why it was done? Re:Fil
JMAS, I am sorry, but I don't really care for these large, full-armor images of clones that you have placed in various FA/GAs of mine. Particularly, I don't like Fil's large image that distorts the P&T, armor, and bts sections. To me, that's not very appealing. Some do work, though; like in Fives' article, the large image works more than the others, but there's just no point to having these large images in small section areas. JangFett (Talk) 14:05, August 25, 2010 (UTC)
- No problem, JMAS. :) I wanted to remove the large image in Fil, though. As for the others, they look fine the way they are, since they are aligned to the right. You can try to readd the Fil image back into the article. I just don't know where to put it, heh. JangFett (Talk) 14:22, August 25, 2010 (UTC)
- How about these options? The infobox image is rather dark, and trying to brighten it would lessen the quality of the image (I've tried). I could crop the full armor image down to just a head/torso shot for the infobox. Figuring you won't be keen on that idea ;), how about if I move the image of Vebb holding his body to the left and put the arm image aligned right? On a separate note, do you mind if I tweak the caption for the death image? Vebb wasn't really mourning his death. He was more angered and incensed. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 14:48, August 25, 2010 (UTC)

- It's absolutely fine. I've seen many FA's with images aligned to the same side when they are far enough apart, just like those two images are. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 15:51, August 25, 2010 (UTC)

Re:Hevy
I don't know if you realized before, but there are many other TCW clones that had their clone designation number contradicted. To name a few: Ponds has three numbers and Echo has two. Until Hevy's other number that was given to him in Ultimate Battles is gone, I think it's best if I keep the TwoConflicting tag within the article. Even though their canon levels are different, Ultimate Battles is still an official source, much like TCW is. I would like to see Hevy's long number appear again, but that would only make things worse. JangFett (Talk) 15:18, September 22, 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, it wouldn't make it worse. Right now, the longer number appears in one source, as does the shorter number. If the longer number appears in another source, then it wins out be default as being in more sources. ;) To my recollection, that's how it's worked in other cases with conflicting names. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 15:25, September 22, 2010 (UTC)
- CT-782 is the new article's name, too. For Ponds, if you remember, JMAS, we skipped TCW's "CT-411" number. That TCW character guide came out with another number for Ponds—CC-0411—and we moved the article. His original was CC-6454. It's very confusing at times. Appearances; 1st, holo...
Hey. I have a question maybe you can answer. In the latest installment of the online comic "The Valsedian Operation". There is a new character, Torpo. It's his first appearance (as far as I know) and he appears in a hologram. So which should be used in the article (First appearance) or (Appears in hologram)? He doesn't appear "in the flesh" so to speak, so maybe it's better to use holo? Its the same with the Valsedian asteroid belt, first appearance as a hologram. I'm a little confused about this. Tellanroaeg 22:03, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
- Use them both. Exactly as you did here, {{1st}} followed by {{Hologram}}. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 22:13, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
- Ok. Thanks for the answer. Tellanroaeg 22:27, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
Chantique
Hey JMAS, I like your contrast adjustment, but I was wondering if you wouldn't mind cropping it back down for me? It's going into the infobox, so I need the image to be a bit closer up on her whole body. If you could get the crop back down to what it was in the original upload but keep your contrast changes, I'd greatly appreciate it. Cheers. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 12:42, September 24, 2010 (UTC)
- Acutally, I've reverted it for now so the original doesn't get deleted. If you get the opportunity to make the adjustment then that's great, but if you're too busy there's no rush. Thanks again! Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 13:06, September 24, 2010 (UTC)
- One thing to consider, assuming this is being worked on for FA or GA nomination, won't an objection be raised about the infobox shot not being a cropped in head or head/torso shot? - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 14:05, September 24, 2010 (UTC)
- I've looked through the available images. The only appropriate one is being used in the P&A. Additionally, there are no GA/FA rules in that regard. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 22:25, September 24, 2010 (UTC)

Kel/Thanaton
You're correct that Kel hasn't been confirmed as Thanaton, but it is confirmed that Thanaton isn't a unique character. The only thing that's up in the air is whether or not Kel assumes that identity. So now, Thanaton redirects to Kel. Think Darth Hayze and Haazen. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 22:27, September 24, 2010 (UTC)
- I completely agree that it is 99.999999% certain that Tebel Kel will end up being moved to Darth Thanaton. But by the letter of policy here, until that is officially confirmed, it has to wait. Sucks, I know, but if we fudge on one thing, then soon other things will start sliding by and it can lead to a mess. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 22:30, September 24, 2010 (UTC)

Requesting Clone Cadets/ARC Troopers images
Hey, JMAS. I am in need of images from Clone Cadets and ARC Troopers. First, Hevy needs two images. Could you take a screenshot of him using his Z-6 blaster cannon and perhaps a shot of him talking to Bric. Also, Echo and Fives need two images from both Clone Cadets and ARC Troopers. I would like a shot of Fives arguing with Echo about his nickname in the beginning of the episode. As for the other shot, you could choose it. As for Echo, you can choose those as well. I prefer one shot of him talking to someone and the other him in combat. In ARC Troopers, there's a scene where Echo and Fives are walking. We see their new blue stripped armor, and that would be good for either article. I could also use another image of them from the episode as well.
Thanks again, JMAS. Sorry if this list is too much, but the articles could use the new images. :P JangFett (Talk) 15:12, September 27, 2010 (UTC)

Hey! I just wanted to let you know that I added the extra parameter. See The Imperial March for an example of how to use it. I wrote this on your page so you would notice and quit adding them to the article bodies. I'd hate for you to have to go back and change them all. Master Fredcerique Begun the Clone Wars has † 17:30, September 29, 2010 (UTC)

More audio clips
Hello. I was wonderin' if I could get your opinion on how to add the samples to the infoboxes. You can see Star Wars Main Title for an example on how I've been doing it (although even at that we'd have to decide on using the written out name or an acronym because some of the names are too long). Master Fredcerique Begun the Clone Wars has † 13:44, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
- I think how you did it there in that example is fine. If there are two samples in the infobox, I think an acronym should be used if necessary to make sure they are no more than one line across. However, when there is just a single sample, like in Han Solo and the Princess, I think it's fine if it wraps around to a second line. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 13:51, October 1, 2010 (UTC)

Globecoruscant image
Hey, I wasn't sure if you got my other message. I've uploaded a new version with some further corrections including making the planet sharper and the stars somewhat darker to bring the planet out more. Could you please look at the image and let me know if you find the corrections make the new version more acceptable then the old. If yes, then I'll contact the users who voted and get another opinion. I've also asked Darth Culator to please hold back till you take a look at the images. Thanks. Coruscantfan 21:33, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
- I've got no problem with what you've done with the image. But I still think TCW image is a clearer better image. But go ahead and contact the others who also voted. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 06:15, October 2, 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, I've gone ahead and contacted Nayayen and JangFett. For a re-vote, do we simply remove the previous votes or leave as is? Also the vote made by a unnamed user, can that be stricken since he doesn't have the required amount of edits in order to vote on anything? Coruscantfan 16:19, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
- I don't imagine we'd count the anon vote. Didn't even notice that it was an anon until you said something. As for the new vote, I'd say no. As long as you contact those who've already voted to let them know so they have the opportunity to look at the two images again, that should suffice. - ~ JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 17:06, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

Montross image
Hey there, I was just wondering why you removed my infobox image for Montross? I didn't realize it was a FA, and since it is I know it needs to be put to a vote, but still. The current image is a full body shot of pretty poor resolution and mine, though a bit stylized, is a headshot and better resolution. Signature
Hey! I was wondering if you knew of a way to get my sig to be different on each wiki I go to? MasterFred (Whatever) † 03:09, October 8, 2010 (UTC)
- On each different wiki, you make a user subpage, like User:JMAS/sig. And you create it however differently you want on each wiki. Then in each individual wiki, you go into your preferences and put {{SUBST:User:JMAS/sig}} in the "Signature" box, and check the Customer signature box and save the changes. Then on that particular wiki, whatever you created on the sig subpage will be displayed whenever you type ~~~~. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 03:16, October 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks man. The reason I ask is because my former sig (which I really liked) is illegal here. I want to keep it for LMW and others, but use a slightly altered one for here. MasterFred (Whatever) † 03:26, October 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Would there be anything wrong with my signature if I was to have the parantheses around the "Whatever" yellow like I did before? Graestan said my sig was against policy, but almost everyone uses two font colors. MasterFred (Whatever) † 13:57, October 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Strictly speaking, it can have only one color - and that does not count the standard blue color of links used on Wookieepedia. If you take mine. It has the one color of red for the name, the one image that is no more than 20px in height, and the link to my talk page is just the normal blue link color. Having the parenthesis yellow on yours would technically be a violation since you already have the green of your name. - ~ JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 14:04, October 8, 2010 (UTC)

Re:Signature
So do I just ignore Grae? Or do I tell him what you just told me? --Gmalek (The ability to edit does not make you intelligent) 14:49, October 8, 2010 (UTC)
- As long as your signature remains exactly as it is right now, there is nothing that violates the signature policy that I can see. Unless there is some hidden rules in there that aren't posted - but then what would be the point? You can wait and see what Chack says on the matter, but I would contest any claim that your current signature violates the policy in any way. ~ JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 14:53, October 8, 2010 (UTC)

GA Help
Okay. I've found an article that I think could make it to GA status. I had nothing to do with it's creation or editing history, but I think it has the qualities of a Good Article. What do I do? Do I leave it? Or should I just nominate it? --Gmalek (The ability to edit does not make you intelligent) 01:04, October 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, first, you need to look at all the regulations on the Good Article Nomination page, and make sure the article meets all the standards. Fix anything that isn't up to snuff, and then sure, go ahead and nominate it. - ~ JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 01:53, October 10, 2010 (UTC)

- OK, the first thing people don't realize is that no images are "from google". The Google image search is merely scouring the internet for images. Therefore whatever image you found isn't from Google, it's from whatever site google found it on. Is it a promotional image, or a movie or game screenshot? Anyway, they had him over to spend the night, and never brought him back. They stole some money from the Dad's work, stole some stuff from the house they were renting, and ran off to California and the West back in September (I believe). :( Poor kid has no hope with them raising him. - Nice. Do you mind emailing me a few please? I need information regarding the Great Sith War, specifically Ulic's capture on Coruscant and Exar's defeat at Yavin. Thanks a lot.—Tommy 9281 13:55, November 10, 2010 (UTC)
I just got home Saturday, and was gone pretty much all day yesterday. I may have misspoke, though. I think it may be Star Wars: Panel to Panel I have scans for, and not the Comic's Companion. I'll confirm that tonight. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 16:12, November 15, 2010 (UTC)
- OK, it's confirmed. I do not have the Comics Companion. Sorry about the confusion. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 18:12, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
Replacing Maul with that Savage guy
Hey, JMAS. I don't think it's right to replace Maul in certain articles with Savage. I mean, he's not even noticeable, and was just announced again yesterday. Maul is more of an established character than him. JangFett (Talk) 16:46, November 10, 2010 (UTC)
- So what? Here are the facts. Savage Opress is a canon character. The image of him confirms he uses a double-bladed lightsaber. Therefore it is just as fitting to have his image there as it is the comic cover image. I'm sorry if you can't stand any images related to TCW, but that is not valid justification for continual removal of valid TCW images from valid articles they relate to. I'm sure you'll deny that you hate TCW images, but you actions speak loudly otherwise. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 16:52, November 10, 2010 (UTC)
Song summaries
Hey JMAS! I'm working on adding summaries of themes to the theme articles. Do you think you could check the Arena Theme summary and see if it matches with the soundtrack? I'm not confident on how clear I'm making them, and I figure it'd be best to get another opinion. Thanks! MasterFred20px(Whatever) 13:45, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, you're housesitting. Well, whenever you can. MasterFred20px(Whatever) 17:15, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
Re: KE Gazetteer
If you're referring to the redlink, I did that on purpose. I plan to create a page for the article soon. Everything else looks fine to me. Xicer920px(Combadge) 00:08, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
- I went through and saw nothing but redlinks, so I changed it back. Once you create the article, then just revert. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 00:10, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
AOTC Unofficial Soundtrack
You mentioned you had possession of an Attack of the Clones soundtrack. Could you upload some samples to ascertain what the difference between this version and the official album are? If possible, could you upload the whole thing so I might be able to write a summary in the article about it. Whereas we don't cover bootlegs, if it's a leaked score it has as much right to be mentioned on here as, say, the Force Unleashed promo soundtracks. Ggctuk 21:44, November 14, 2010 (UTC)
- It's a bootleg, not official. I'm 99.9% certain of that. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 02:24, November 15, 2010 (UTC)
- What does it contain? Is it one or two discs, and does it contain much unreleased material, or does it just contain rips from the rear channels of a DVD? Ggctuk 09:13, November 15, 2010 (UTC)
Re:No hard feelings
Hey, JMAS. No worries man. Hopefully you agree that the info you added into the season three article belongs in the TCW series one. I think it's a better fit, since that section needed some expansion. As for that new Ahsoka image, yes, I will use it. :) It's better than any promotional one. :P JangFett (Talk) 15:48, November 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, I agree with Master Jonathan. The article is not just a list of episodes, or at least it shouldn't be. It is an article, and hence why the information was pertinent, IMO. Regarding infobox images, I do not think they should exclusively be promotional images, or exclusively screenshots. Infoboxes have to be done on a case by case basis. What image is the best quality, least distracting background, facing forward and headshot—as much as possible, all those qualities are needed for an infobox image. Sometimes that is best served with a promotional image, and sometimes best served with a screenshot. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 16:23, November 18, 2010 (UTC)

Can you make this into a promotional pic

- I'm sorry, I have no idea what you mean. There is no image file by that name. And I can't "make" an image a promotional pic. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 17:15, November 19, 2010 (UTC)
Re: 99 talk) What you wrote makes no sense
Oh yes, it does. In your version, you effectively repeat his life story in Personality and traits. This is not the purpose of said chapter; it means to point out why he behaved like he did in Clone Cadets and ARC Troopers. I wonder if you ever wrote a biography ...
- I've been editing here for over 4 years, so yes, I do have a little experience with articles. Your edit created this sentence: "—while 99 himself respected and all of his brothers." That sentence makes absolutely no sense. Case closed. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 19:03, November 19, 2010 (UTC)
Imperial officers
Hey JMAS, I was hoping you could tell me exactly where you found this image, as in the specific parent page for the gallery or whatever it might have been. I can't seem to locate it myself. Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir 02:14, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

A Guide to the Star Wars Universe
Hey J,
By chance, do you have A Guide to the Star Wars Universe (Third Edition)? If so, can you tell me what it says about Exar Kun and his defeat over Yavin 4 please? Thanks,—Tommy 9281 19:40, November 24, 2010 (UTC)
- No, sorry. I have the Second Edition. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 19:43, November 24, 2010 (UTC)
Edit reverted
Why did you delete the BTS section on the Fornax page? It is no less speculative than the BTS section on the Cold War page, which says that the war was inspired by the real-world Cold War, and it doesn't have any source either. Incidentally, I've seen several articles over the years with things in their BTS sections that are also speculative, yet were never removed either. It just seems kinda random. Thanks! Super Tank
Super tank Hey jmas got a tiny request if you can make a different profile pic for the super tank thatd be thx byye user talk:saddy66

Thire pic
Hey, I saw you uploaded a new version of the shock trooper/Thire snapshot from Ep 3. I was wondering if there was any particular reason? I'm using it on the Coruscant Guard article and the one I had uploaded was not as wide and fit better. I'm guessing it was because you thought it was better quality? If you really insist on keeping that one, can you upload one that is cropped in on the troopers like the one I had? It would look better on the article to not be so wide. Let me know, thanks. Coruscantfan 02:28, December 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Done. I thought I had cropped it. Evidently the crop didn't save, and I didn't pay close enough attention to the dimensions when I uploaded it. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 02:31, December 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Cool, looks awesome! By the way on a side note, two requests if you can: There is a scene in Ep 3 where the Coruscant buildings at night are shown. It should be right before the scene with Anakin and Padme where she is brushing her hair. There are two glimpses of the skyline separated by a large building the fills that screen before it moves to showing Padme's apartment complex. The one I'm looking for is at 29:12 Is there any way that you could get a clear snapshot of the skyline? Every time I try the snapshot looks blurry. The other request is do you see any possible improvement that can be given to File:SenateDistrict-ROTS.jpg Let me know, thanks again. Coruscantfan 02:50, December 4, 2010 (UTC)
- As to the Senate District image, there really isn't anything to be done with it. It's a great as it is. I have a bunch of screenshots from ROTS, but not the HD versions to take screenshots myself. Sorry. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 03:02, December 4, 2010 (UTC)

Yet another image request
Hey JMAS, I was hoping you could upload an image or two for me from The Force Unleashed II, both of Baron Tarko - one of him ordering the Gorog to be released (specifically when he turns to his aide and yells "Now!"), and another of him falling into the Gorog's mouth (preferably a shot without the Gorog's hand in the frame). I'd really appreciate it; I don't need them immediately, so there's no rush. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 01:32, December 6, 2010 (UTC)
- If I could, I would be happy to get these for you. Unfortunately, I have TFU2 on Xbox360 and no way to capture screenshots from it, or at least no way I'm aware of. In fact, I haven't even played it yet. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 01:35, December 6, 2010 (UTC)

WED-15-77
Hi JMAS, could you check the Star Wars Chronicles and Chronicles: Prequels for any info or mention of WED-15-77 Treadwell droid. In AOTC, it was next to 3PO, when Anakin arrived to the Lars farm. In ANH, it was in a cutscene, when Luke spotted the battle above Tatooine, and the same droid model was used in the sandcrawler bay and in the background on the Lars farm, altought the latter two cannot be the same droid IU. I'm trying to gather info from as many sources as possible for [[User:Menkooroo/Workbench|a project]] of mine... is there any chance that you can help me out? I'm looking for any and all info on Lumpy, in-universe and/or behind the scenes. If so, you are amazing, if not, you are still amazing. Thank you! Menkooroo 18:06, December 3, 2010 (UTC)

Yoxgit
Hey JMAS, I just wanted to follow up with you on the update edits you recently made to Yoxgit. I saw you added the TPoV ref note after the second sentence of the P/T. Since the first sentence was originally sourced to the character's Databank entry, does the new TPoV reference encompass the first sentence as well? Toprawa and Ralltiir 18:06, December 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Not really. It's mainly the second sentence. That seemed like the most fitting place for the sentence. How better could/should I have referenced that? - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 18:15, December 16, 2010 (UTC)
- In that case, the ref note for the Databank entry, found further down in the paragraph, should also be placed after that first sentence. I've taken care of it now. Thanks. :) Toprawa and Ralltiir 18:19, December 16, 2010 (UTC)

[[:File:BombingEffects-HOBS.jpg|right|thumb|120px|From HoBS]] Hey JMAS, I was wondering if you could upload an image from the bombing of Coruscant in Pursuit of Peace. - I do not have the widescreen version of that episode yet, so it might be a couple weeks. All I have right now is the US version, where I had to crop/edit out the Cartoon Network logo. Email pic upload
Hey, Merry Christmas and all that. I got a question for you. If I'm uploading a screen shot of an email to prove an author said something to me about a character, how to categorize/source the screen shot and do I put it on any page/gallery or do I just leave it? And how do I write the reference code in my article for that? Coruscantfan 15:41, December 26, 2010 (UTC)
- The reference code I think should be right to the image itself. As to where to place the image, I think you can either place it on the article talk page, or use the {{Notorphan}} tag in the "attention" spot in the {{Information}} template. Forget categorizing the image. As for sourcing it, I'd source it something like "Screenshot of emailed response from so-and-so, author of such-and-such-novel." - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 23:04, December 26, 2010 (UTC)
- Cool thanks. Coruscantfan 03:15, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
- Um, is it ok that the picture appears in the reference list when I sourced it? Here's the article. Coruscantfan 03:24, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
- Was easier for me just to fix the reference myself, than to try and explain it here. Take a look at the article to see what I did. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 04:11, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

WP:TCW
Hey JMAS. As a holder of a reserved project (or projects) for WP:TCW, I'd like to notify you that all reserved projects that have not seen any recent activity are being removed in an attempt to do some "cleaning" for the new year. You are welcome to reclaim any projects by re-entering them on the list; this is just an attempt to clear out those projects that may never see any work at all. Please contact me with any questions you may have, and have a happy new year. :) CC7567 (talk) 23:15, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
Infobox Pics for systems
I have heard that you are the picture guy, and I was wondering if you had any pictures that could be used for the infoboxes on some of the Outer Rim systems that I have been updating. I have not come by too many other pictures that could be used, but I know that there are books and such that show certain systems. I have no clue how you go about adding any of the pictures to the site either, considering I am still kind of new and have been working mainly on smaller tasks. I can figure out how to add them, but I just don't know where to find them. Is there any chance you might be able to help me out with this every once in awhile? Sorry if I am not being too clear, please let me know and I can explain in further detail if need be. Thanks dude! TK-299 (Click Here) 20px 12:15, January 2, 2011 (UTC)

The Jedi Path quote attribution question
Hey JMAS, I saw that you added a number of edits to the Jedi Path article and I'm hoping that means you have the book on hand. I've gotten a quote for the Gray Jedi article from the book from somebody else who had eyes-on, but they didn't jot down exactly who had the quote and now appear to not have access to it. The quote is currently attributed to:
- —The Chief Jedi Librarian in the decade following the Seventh Battle of Ruusan in 1,000 BBY[src]
—which is pretty hideous and shouldn't be in an FA unless we really don't have a name to attribute to. From the appearances page it seems like it might be Restelly Quist, but I'd like to have someone with the book confirm one way or another before I make any more changes to the Gray Jedi article. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! (note: I also sent this message to User:Jinzler as he seemed to have a number of edits as well.) —fodigg 20px (talk) | 14:12, January 3, 2011 (UTC)
- I actually don't have the book. All I added to the article was appearances from illustrations I came across from the book. Sorry. I definitely want to get it, but I figure you probably want to get this resolved long before I'll have a chance to pick up a copy. *L* - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 14:19, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

M1-4X
Hey mr. picture guy. Can you do anything with the screenshots on the Trooper starship page to pull out an image of M1-4X, the white and orange companion droid? The image has a pretty low quality unfortunately, but it's the only image we currently have of M1. The screenshot in question is the one on the lower-left. Regards. —fodigg 20px (talk) | 21:47, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
- I assume you mean the shot with the Thunderclap with a mountain or rock wall right behind it, with the walker/droid looking thing on the far right? How do you know that is an M1-4X? - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 23:26, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
- Dev comments on the forums describing it exactly and describing it as a unique droid. These starship videos are also used to show shots of companion characters, and knowing there's a trooper companion that is a unique, white-and-orange droid that looks very similar to the AR-34 enforcer droid makes it fairly obvious. However, if you want to wait for a an absolute confirmation like a character biography, that might be best if only because that would guarantee us a better photo. M1-4X also appeared in the background of one of the dev videos on his computer, but again, very poor quality photo when blown up. —fodigg 20px (talk) | 18:44, January 9, 2011 (UTC)
- I can certainly crop down that photo, and put it in the article. Just know that some people may choose to remove it without direct confirmation. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 21:13, January 9, 2011 (UTC)
- If you are concerned at all then my recommendation is to not bother with it. I don't want to request that you do this extra work—especially for a low-quality image—only to invite an edit war. The data is confirmed and there's no other character that could be, but the image itself is not explicitly labeled. Thanks for your time, but I'll just bother you again later once a better image is available. —fodigg 20px (talk) | 16:45, January 10, 2011 (UTC)

Possibly someone stealing your work.
So I saw an image floating around the internet and I saw a similar image here. A person posting under the name "Vespertin" on Flickr has been taking credit for images of a x-wing and an AT-AT, which I have seen on here. I didn't know if this was your account or not, but I thought I would leave this here just in case. One is called "AT-AT Walker Blueprint" and the other is "X-Wing Blueprint"
Phobos and Desolous images
Hey, JMAS. I've noticed that you've uploaded an image of Darth Phobos's lightsaber from the CSWE. Could you also upload the images of Phobos herself and of Darth Desolous from the same source? They should be on page 171 of Volume I. QuiGonJinn 20px(Talk) 13:43, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
- I actually can't. I had only gotten some of those scans while I had the CSWE checked out from the library. I don't own it (yet). Not sure who else might have it, Culator possibly. - JMAS 13:48, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

Re:
Thanks JMAS, those files are perfect. Just as a heads up though, the first one will have to be used for the Republic military enhancement bill, as it is from Pursuit of Peace and not Heroes on Both Sides. The chart can be used on either, however. If you have an opportunity to pull a good wide-shot of the senate chamber during a debate from Heroes on Both Sides that I could use for the Republic financial reform bill infobox, I would greatly appreciate it. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 12:00, January 14, 2011 (UTC)
- It's annoying and confusing, yes, but you can see in the episodes that the financial reform bill is specifically proposed by Saam and approved in the same episode. In PoP, Burtoni introduces a new bill that exploits the provisions of Saam's bill, but is an entirely different piece of legislation that has a separate debate and a separate aim. The episode guides also refer to them separately. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 22:06, January 14, 2011 (UTC)
- Ahhh, good to know. Thanks for the clarification. - JMAS 03:46, January 15, 2011 (UTC)
Brian Rood's Hasbro Legacy Collection artwork
I'd love to know where you found those full images of the packaging artwork for the comic 2-packs. Any chance you could tell me? Moon Demon 04:44, January 15, 2011 (UTC)
- Simple. Google "Brian Rood art" and see what it pulls up. I didn't bookmark the site, so no, I can't direct you to a certain site. - JMAS 05:17, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

[[:File:Experimental jedi armor by imzadialpha-d3292al.jpg]] may be a user image. I have reverted your IFD tag and queried the user. Graestan(Talk) 16:35, January 17, 2011 (UTC)
- If you mean it was intended for a user page, I have to disagree. The user attempted to add it to the Jedi armor page (incorrectly, I may add). I think it's just another unsourced invalid image. <-Omicron 16:37, January 17, 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, I did not see that. Let's still wait it out, see what the user's intentions are. Assume good faith. ;) Graestan(Talk) 16:38, January 17, 2011 (UTC)

- Also, he's not unregistered. You can't upload an image without registering an account. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 16:45, January 17, 2011 (UTC)

- If anyone has an idea on where to actually fit the image, I can provide an accurate source and a much better upload. It's the awarded costume from the Lightside ending of TFUII, and the image itself is from the TFUII exclusive Mimbot artbook thing. I just don't want to upload it unless someone thinks that can do something with it. Alternatively, JMAS, if you think you might be able to slide images in places I hadn't thought about, the Mimbot Artbook has been made available on the web. I can provide a less-than-legitimate link, if you haven't already found it. SinisterSamurai 18:36, January 17, 2011 (UTC)

- Done. It's an exact copy of the thumbdrive content. Just open tfu2_ui.swf (the nosound one doesn't seem to work, for me) with an internet browser to read it. I used a (trial) flash extractor to rip all of the actual images, but before that, I used the interface to zoom in, PrntScrn and then assembled the images piecemeal. I suspect you have a flash extractor, but if not, and if you don't feel like playing "Puzzleman," I have the jpgs already ripped. SinisterSamurai 19:00, January 17, 2011 (UTC)
- Do you mind sending it again? For some reason, Wikia decided to change my email address back to an old one. I've updated it again, so now the email should come through. Thanks. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 19:08, January 17, 2011 (UTC)

896 BBY
Hi, JMAS! Not really important, but why is Yoda's TCW image not good for a year article? Since this year is all about Yoda's birth, I was looking for a picture showing him younger. Althought he is not younger in the TCW picture, without lightsaber and playing with a bird make the image feel younger. The rule of "best-quality-realistic-infobox-images" applies here, too? Darth Morrt 13:10, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
- A. Images from TCW are neither better quality, nor more realistic than the CGI images from the films. B. The TCW image is already in use in 2 other pages and in no danger of being deleted, whereas the AOTC image is only used here and will be deleted otherwise. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 13:30, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
Katuunko
Thanks for the image JMAS, I'll pop it in there as soon as I do some expanding. Also, do you think you could get one of him either being choked as he tries to fly away or one of his body in front of Dooku on the cruiser? Thanks again. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 23:58, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
- Sure thing. I'll post it to the same place on your talk page when I get it uploaded. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 00:01, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks much. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 00:05, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
- Hey JMAS, I was just looking at Katuunko and started wondering if there was any way we could update his infobox image. There's nothing particularly wrong with the current image, but it's from the first episode of the first season, so it seems a bit outdated. There's no rush on this at all, and if we can't find a good shot of him, that's okay. Just a thought. Let me know what you think! Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 23:16, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
- I'll look at what's available. We've got three episodes as options. Chronologically, they are "Supply Lines" then "Ambush" then "Witches of the Mist." I could probably get a good headshot from Supply Lines, but IU, that is before the one currently used from Ambush. Let me see what I can come up with. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 02:24, January 29, 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks much for the files, JMAS. I've used two of them in the article—I'll try to find a home for some of the others; they really are great. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 07:47, February 1, 2011 (UTC)
- Oh I understand; I would just rather they be used in articles like Showdown on Toydaria now instead of having them get deleted and then asking you to re-upload them :P Seems like an unnecessary inconvenience. Thanks again. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 20:25, February 1, 2011 (UTC)

Speech bubbles
Hey JMAS --- I noticed that you blanked the text bubble in this image. Per our image policy, the text should be left if the entire speech bubble is intact. Cheers. Menkooroo 13:40, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
- Unless the image is used for an infobox, where it is acceptable to blank it, so as to not distract from the subject matter. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 13:45, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
- Is that an actual rule? If so, can you point me to it? Menkooroo 13:49, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
- My understanding is that it's an understood guideline. From rule 1 right before the one regarding speech bubbles: If an image has … segments that distract from the primary image, it should be cropped to remove these segments. Particularly in the image in question, the text in the bubble is distracting from the subject of the time. Add to that, the name being called out in the text bubble is not that of the subject the image is being used to display, so that makes it even more distracting. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 14:07, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
- I see where you're coming from. I feel like "distracting" is kind of subjective, though, and that that rule was probably instituted for the purpose of the specific example it gives. If it included speech bubbles, then one could argue that any speech bubble is distracting. Rule 2 seems pretty clear to me, and I don't think that it leaves any wiggle room for other rules to be reinterpreted so as to break it. I'm not hardcore about this and won't pursue it, but, ya know, something to think about. Menkooroo 14:40, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
- In all honesty, I really couldn't care less if the speech bubble is blanked or not. I was simply uploading a new version of a very low quality image. The previous uploader, had blanked the text bubble, and as they were using the image in an article they currently have {{Inuse}} on, I thought I would respect their desired use of the image by also blanking the bubble. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 14:58, January 31, 2011 (UTC)

i know
I know i dont own the articles but i hate how people think that somethings should be deleted right away like in grievous article, i just the third battle of kamino and what dooku said to grievous in the Lair of Grievous episode. i dont see how that was a bad edit. can anyone explain to me in simple english what my addition to that article was bad? jail.
- That part about not owning the articles was more directed at Xd, to correct his mistaken understanding. I cannot explain why your edit was reverted. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 17:23, February 3, 2011 (UTC)

...with the T-3PO "fanart." I wasn't sure what the policies were on user-created images, and whether or not the image would count as fanart. At least now I know! :) --Promus Kaa(Rebel Merchant) 25px 04:14, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
- How does someone mark a user-uploaded image as one of the three we're allowed to have? --Promus Kaa(Rebel Merchant) 25px 04:22, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
- Re-upload it just like you did. In the "Attention" spot of the template, add the following: {{User-image}}. You can then place the image on your personal user page. You are allowed three such images. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 04:27, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
