An overcoat or greatcoat was a long, heavy coat worn over outer clothing. At the time of Pell Baylo's military training, greatcoats were part of the Galactic Empire's dress attire for their officers.[35] Decades later, the parade uniforms of the First Order's military also included a heavy gaberwool greatcoat.[36] During the Clone Wars, the famous Duros bounty hunter Cad Bane often wore a greatcoat.[28] The rogue archaeologist Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra also wore overcoats as a part of her regular attire.[2] The crime lord Juam often wore a vest-like sleevless black overcoat.[37]
