The Attack on Port Haileap was carried out by Nihil pirates from Kara Xoo's Tempest who destroyed, raided, and looted the spaceport on the planet Haileap. The marauders also broke into a lab and kidnapped kid inventor Avon Starros who was working there with scientist Glenna Kip. Jedi Master Jorinda Boffrey led Jedi and civilians in fighting against the attackers, with Jedi Knight Kohta Jarik flying a Jedi Vector in the fight, but the Nihil quickly departed, though not before causing massive damage to Port Haileap.^[1]
