Destruction of Dalna

The Destruction of Dalna was a volcanic cataclysmic event on the planet Dalna in 230 BBY.^[2] It was triggered by the Nihil pirate organization and their scientist Zadina Mkampa using a crystal matrix built into the planet's crust that created groundquakes. Mkampa activated it after Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh attacked her as part of her mission to rescue her friend the child scientist Avon Starros. While some feared Dalna would never recover, Honesty Weft had faith that scientists would find a way to stablize the world.^[1] Dalna eventually recovered.^[3]
