The Xappyh sector was a sector of the galaxy that, during the High Republic Era, served as the base of operations for the Consolidated Holdings of Preox-Morlana Corporation, a multi-industry conglomerate in the Galactic Republic's Galactic Corporate Policy League that was a key charter signatory of the Corporate Sector.[2] By the Imperial Era, a number of systems[1] in the unincorporated Bosphian provinces[2] had been added to the Xappyh sector,[1] and Preox-Morlana had established the Free Trade sector,[3] a subsector of the Xappyh sector[1] that contained their headquarters planet Morlana One.[4]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Xappyh sector was mentioned in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[2] The sector originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in Timothy Zahn's 1992 novel Dark Force Rising, the second book in the Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy.[5] It then appeared for the first time in the 1998 Coolhand Interactive video game Star Wars: Rebellion.[6]
