Meeting 55
Jangeth pls, Meeting 55 has been scheduled for February 23 at 4PM ET (9PM UTC). Please make an effort to show up. (dat plotcolour) 1358 (Talk) 16:21, February 6, 2013 (UTC)
Re:3RR
Jang, I did. I reverted him once and left a message, and was in the process of rewriting the Dark Acolyte table into a list when he edit-conflicted me. That's when I left him alone and sought out an admin. Cade Calrayn 20:51, February 8, 2013 (UTC)
Re:Zabrak
In the Encyclopedia it states that Maul's, as well as Opress', species are Dathomirian, not Zabrak. Also, in the BTS section of the Maul article states that his species was changed from a Zabrak to a Dathomirian. Darth Pythonis (Talk) 15:15, February 9, 2013 (UTC)
FAN page reviewing
Hey, Jang,
Per the discussion at the recent INQ meeting 55, I've just now gone and left personalized talk page messages to a whole whack of users, asking them to review more on the FAN page. I went for people who review a lot on the GAN page, people who nominate FANs but never review others' work, and more --- hopefully we'll be able to kick-start a reviewing revolution.
With that said, I believe I'd be remiss if I didn't extend the appeal to the Inquisitorius, as well. I'm not trying to single any one person out, and to emphasize that point, I'm leaving the exact same message on every INQ member's talk page rather than personalizing them like I did with the non-INQ mesages. Every INQ member save five, that is, and those five members have been reviewing FANs frequently enough that they don't need any sort of push like this. Everyone other than those five INQs, yourself included, has reviewed less than twelve FANs since the beginning of July (addendum specifically for Jang: I counted INQvotes, so your count only begins in September, after you became an INQ). A few meetings ago, we agreed on eight FAN reviews per month as a good number for which to strive. I've now encouraged a large number of non-INQs to review more frequently, and the Inquisitorius as a whole should be actively participating in that revolution if not leading it. So, as an INQ, please review FANs more often. Cheers, and have a great day! Menkooroo (talk) 08:11, February 11, 2013 (UTC)
IPs
Hey Jang. I disagree on that. We should try to get the vandals to do productive work, instead of shunning them. Many of them might be just testing, or even contributing in a wrong way, but in good-faith. I seriously believe the first message any user should get is a welcome, not a big, red, threatening warning sign. That's just counterproductive and scares away potential new users. Rescue mission to Vandos
"So—are you still worried about being sent to the Agricultural Corps?" Rescue mission to Vandos has been approved by the AgriCorps and awarded Good status. Feel free to add the {{User GA}} template to your userpage to acknowledge your hard work. The AgriCorps thanks you for your efforts, and looks forward to future nominations from you! — Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 07:09, February 18, 2013 (UTC) |
Intro
Hi Jang, can you please point me to the policy that states no references in the intro? Rokkur Shen (talk) 14:39, February 18, 2013 (UTC)
Queequeg
I've also reverted your edits to Queequeg as it is only a nickname as many of the action figure archive names are. No official name has been given to this character. Unless you can provide one. Leland Chee specifically refers to this character as "Weequay hunter" in his blog hence the addition of the CCG card "Weequay Hunter" of which the images are identical and of the same character. Thanks. Rokkur Shen (talk) 14:46, February 18, 2013 (UTC)
Trivia?
Sure, it makes sense. However, adding information related to the episode, which is not included anywhere else in the article, and is confirmed by Lucasfilm makes sense too. I'm still on the side of expanding the Wook, not reducing it. Hope it makes sense too. :) Cheers, --XXLVenom998 (Surprise me!) 08:35, February 22, 2013 (UTC)
- Could you please tell me who the hell made these rules? Just doesn't make any sense. Maybe next time we should consider to make a poll or something on voting for rules actually. --XXLVenom998 (Surprise me!) 16:43, February 22, 2013 (UTC)
- Anyhow, it is not just about the Jedi funeral. Sometimes any extra information would do a good service in understanding things. But you've got the point as well. However, about the episode, I link you this on IMDB, there was some misunderstanding about Poggle the Lesser and Wat Tambor (though I personally know where they appearaed), other viewers didn't get it where and when did they appear, and there were references to Wookieepedia too (you will find it in there). This is partly the reason why I think a little trivia is not always bad, it is helpful if extra information is included in the articles. Of course, I'm not talking about things like "Yoda is holding a Gimer stick while talking with Mace Windu" if you know what I mean, but when it is disputable if a character appeared in an episode, like it was on the talk page of the episode (Admiral Yularen's appearance was under a dispute), it would be useful if he is not only listed in the Appearances, but a few words are written about those who have a disputable or simply not too clear appearance (of course not talking about those who have lines like Yoda in the episode). Hope it makes my motivations clear. I only want the best, no offense! :) --XXLVenom998 (Surprise me!) 17:14, February 22, 2013 (UTC)
- The stuff about the Republic Police Cruiser is not trivia, at least not the part about it originally being part of another project. Besides, if we are going to report information on the Wiki, we are supposed to list ALL of it. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 23:16, February 24, 2013 (UTC)
Imaged nom
Hey Jang. What's wrong with having an image displayed at the nomination page? It may be uncommon, but is there a rule against it? Stake black msg 20:38, February 25, 2013 (UTC)
gold six
What's a GA, and why should I talk to that other guy? Good article, got it. Except it's not. Why should it ignore the Gold Six reference in TCW film, especially when Gold Six is listed on the TCW film article? And why does the top section repeat the entirety of biography section?--Rpmdkc (talk) 03:33, February 26, 2013 (UTC)
- OK, I'll talk to him. But yes, it clearly says Gold Six in the opening of the movie. Did you read my edit before you reverted it? It's the same exact audio file as they used in Downfall of a Droid. There's nothing unsourced there. Should I assume I'm not allowed to edit "Good Articles?" --Rpmdkc (talk) 03:48, February 26, 2013 (UTC)
??
What the almighty hell? I just said my opinion about the nomination, and said facts. Could you please cite the comment which was the "rude one"? :) --XXLVenom998 (Surprise me!) 19:29, February 27, 2013 (UTC)
- Are you serious? Is that really considered a personal attack? Oh dear... --XXLVenom998 (Surprise me!) 14:58, February 28, 2013 (UTC)
My goodness
My goodness, what is up with people not allowing others to voice opinions? It's ridiculous. My claims have been backed up by supported facts. I provided concise references as well. What makes it any different? Iteachvader (talk) 23:28, March 3, 2013 (UTC)
Ahsoka Tano
Hi Jang, I'm glad we were able to work out our questions about Ahsoka Tano without conflict. However, can we start a vote to change the image, maybe the HOBS one or a higher-quality promotional one, or at least crop the person to Ahsoka's right completely? His presence in the picture is rather distracting. As for the quote, I'll search for a better one and we can once again move the now-leading quote to the Christophsis section and the now-Christophsis quote to Force powers as I had them.--ID-21 Dolphin
(Talk) 20:02, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
- Great. I just changed the picture- or did you want a vote before that? As for the quote, I wouldn't be opposed to the Ventress quote and might change it, though I still think the "Wookiee Hunt" quote describes Ahsoka's character development through the series and Anakin's great influence on her. Finally, would you have the time (I'm far too busy unfortunately) to write a quick relationships section as exists in most major character articles, covering Anakin, Lux, and maybe Padme, Plo, or Obi-Wan as well? Thanks.--ID-21 Dolphin
(Talk) 21:23, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
- I see. Well, nice project. Why don't you copy and paste all the longer sections that are already written into the existing article? I'll look for quotes. Since we already have a great P&T quotes, though, would you object if I put the Wookiee Hunt quote as the leading one upon showing you the other options I've found?--ID-21 Dolphin
(Talk) 21:40, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
- Ok. How about this- I'll put the Wookiee Hunt quote for now, then show you the quotes I find, and then we can decide, perhaps making it a community vote. Honestly, I have a few problems with the Ventress quote: it describes a biased viewpoint (NPOV?) of Ahsoka as she acted in the first few episodes but doesn't describe her real personality traits or character development. Ahsoka isn't particularly filthy, sure she's obnoxious but others may call her independent-minded, and describing her as Skywalker's pet is a much more simplistic and uninteresting, in my opinion, viewpoint than the quote from Wookiee Hunt. While part of the quote is about Anakin, the part about Ahsoka not only surviving in an impossible situation but also leading others to survive showcases her character very well.--ID-21 Dolphin
(Talk) 21:57, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
- Are there any other quotes you find good, perhaps insisting more on Ahsoka's character development?--ID-21 Dolphin
(Talk) 22:25, March 5, 2013 (UTC) - How about this one? Sure, it reveals a lot about Rex as well as Ahsoka, but it does show Ahsoka's inexperience at the beginning of the war, something which her character arc changes.

Ahsoka Tano: So, if you're a captain, and I'm a Jedi, then technically I outrank you, right? Captain Rex: I my book, experience outranks everything.
- To quote Jonjedi: "Real life? What is that?" (Are we allowed to nominate Wookieepedia talk page quotes to the Other QOTD section?) Good luck.--ID-21 Dolphin

Or, this one. Yes, it is another quote about Skywalker and Ahsoka, but Ahsoka's fate is so tied to the actions of other characters...
Ahsoka Tano: So, what's the plan?
Anakin Skywalker: Oh, I thought you were the one with the plan.
Ahsoka Tano: No, I'm the one with enthusiasm. You're the one with experience, which I'm looking forward to learning from.

- The first one is good. I'll also look at the TCW novel. JangFett (Talk) 23:38, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
- Great. Oh, I was rewatching "Padawan Lost" and found a good quote.
- Plo Koon: "What is Ahsoka's strength?"
- Anakin Skywalker: "She is fearless."
- Plo Koon: "That can also be a weakness...Is she a worthy apprentice?"
- Anakin Skywalker: "No one has her kind of determination."
- Plo Koon: "Except you."

(Talk) 04:03, March 7, 2013 (UTC) - I'm still confused by why you're so reticent, but ok. You're sure there's nothing from your sandbox that you want to copy? There are certainly some old episodes for which your summaries are more detailed.--ID-21 Dolphin
(Talk) 04:18, March 7, 2013 (UTC) - Ok. Are you planning on working a lot on it in the coming months? It's sort of a good moment, especially since she might not have too many new appearances in the short-term future.--ID-21 Dolphin

Actually right in the middle of editing the article when you sent me that. :P Will have it and the other Clone Wars–related stuff done by the meeting. CC7567 (talk) 22:07, March 8, 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, I believe there's some info that needs to be added to R3-S6. I gave it to Trayus on his talk page a while back, so it should all be there. (The "canon conflict" that I mentioned isn't actually a canon conflict, I believe; it should be added somewhere.) CC7567 (talk) 22:11, March 8, 2013 (UTC)
- Nah, the only good stuff was a Clone Wars timeline that wasn't even correct. Also, would you mind tackling CC-1138? I can take a look at it sometime if you can't, but there's a good amount of rejiggering required, since the True Colors info needs to be moved to the 21 BBY part of the article (since the Star Wars Character Encyclopedia verified that the Battle of Mygeeto started in 21 BBY instead of 19 BBY). I can try to look up stuff if you need it. (And your user page says you're looking after Bacara, anyway. :P) CC7567 (talk) 22:20, March 8, 2013 (UTC)
- That, and adjust some of the ROTS-leadup parts of the article so that the context on Mygeeto (and relevant stuff) is provided before then with the True Colors info. In addition, once True Colors is moved, the ROTS part needs to state that he "returned" to Mygeeto, two years after he originally operated there (to reflect the information from the Character Encyclopedia). Also, I think a Bts note might be helpful to clarify the ambiguity with True Colors, and the fact that the Character Encyclopedia verified the chronology, but I can help you with that part if it's confusing. CC7567 (talk) 22:30, March 8, 2013 (UTC)

I wish I had a good answer for you regarding To the Vanishing Point, but it's difficult to interpret the comic with the source material that's followed it. For the location of the comic's battle, the comic almost certainly suggests that it is not Mygeeto, but the CSWE either made an unintentional or intentional retcon in stating that it was Mygeeto. For the timeline, I don't believe any source has nailed down a specific date for the battle—though based on pure conjecture, I would think that To the Vanishing Point should be placed closer to 19 BBY, with ROTS (as opposed to 21 BBY, with True Colors). I'll try to catch you on IRC sometime tonight or tomorrow to discuss this. CC7567 (talk) 19:53, March 15, 2013 (UTC)

Hi Jang, my objections stand. I was about to strike them as by objections had initially been addressed weeks ago. The problem was that they were almost immediately reverted as Cade changed his mind yet again. I've clearly outlined my issues on the nomination page. Rokkur Shen (talk) 02:58, April 9, 2013 (UTC)

Fat Jedi founder
You're quite right with your remark pertaining to the Jedi Temple founder's nom. I think I went on a roll with too much enthusiasm and didn't really think what I was doing. Too tired these days. Could you just remove the nom for now, so I'll have time to check? Sorry for the inconvenience, I obviously lacked discernment on that one... --LelalMekha (talk) 18:05, April 9, 2013 (UTC)

Hey Jan. Unfortunately, I'm unable to access my SW Insider collection as long as I'm on campus. If you can wait till Thursday, when I come home, I'll check immediately. --LelalMekha (talk) 17:20, April 16, 2013 (UTC)
- Hello Jang. I just read "The Cast" as you requested. While Don Henderson is quoted, Cassio Tagge himself is never mentioned (but the general does appears in a few pictures). --LelalMekha (talk) 20:00, April 18, 2013 (UTC)
- Fond memories of Peter Cushing, including that famous "Tarkin wearing woman slippers" anecdote. --LelalMekha (talk) 21:52, April 18, 2013 (UTC)
- I hereby provide you with the two quotes by Don Henderson. But I warned you: they're not about Henderson himself or his character, they're much more revelant to Cushing and Tarkin.
- Fond memories of Peter Cushing, including that famous "Tarkin wearing woman slippers" anecdote. --LelalMekha (talk) 21:52, April 18, 2013 (UTC)
- "Peter [Cushing] took his work very seriously. On set he never put a foot wrong. Off set he would be giggling and laughing, being very friendly, but very courteous and old-fashioned. Peter was a very funny man. He would sit around and tell jokes. He was a sociable man. He would have everybody in fits. You might expect a very austere man, like a hermit almost, but he wasn't. Peter was brilliant in his horror parts because he believed in what he was saying. It was the same in Star Wars. He brought such a serious element to it."
- ―Don Henderson on Peter Cushing[src]
- "They found the only footwear they had, which was a pair of women's slippers. Myself and the other characters were looking at him in the face, but when you look at someone in the face you still can see their shoes. Peter was being nasty, and we're looking at him in the face trying desperately to keep a straight face. He was totally unaware what was causing the giggles. He would say: "What's the problem? What have I done?" And we said: "It's the shoes." He said he couldn't do it without them, so he did the whole scene, being really evil, with us looking at him in the eyes, being very stern, while he's wearing these bloody slippers! Afterwards, he fell about when we told him what difficulty we'd had. He really roared."
- ―Don Henderson on Peter Cushing[src]
- Don't mention it. :) Oh, by the way, don't you happen to know someone on the Wook—besides Cal Jedi—who owns a working PC version of Star Wars Episode I: Racer? --LelalMekha (talk) 23:22, April 18, 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, CP already provided me with a good deal of useful information, but he owns one of the game station versions, not the one for PC. It just so happens that some evidences I'm looking for only appear on the PC version of the game. Too bad. --LelalMekha (talk) 23:28, April 18, 2013 (UTC)

Inq reviewing tutorial
Hey Jang. As per discussion at Inq Meeting 56, I've started to write a draft for what will eventually become the Inquisitorius' tutorial guide for new reviewers. It can be accessed here. I haven't had as much time as I would like to work on it recently, so there are still some sections that have yet to be written, but I've started off with trying out some basic organization with the current sections. Please feel free to jump in, either by writing new stuff for the guide or commenting on/adjusting what's already there.
Every current member of the Inq will eventually have to approve the guide in its entirety, so getting involved with its development would be great, sooner rather than later. The talk page can be used to discuss ideas about organization, sectioning, content, you name it. Let me know if you have any questions, and your contributions are appreciated! Dyer's demise.
Hi.
Not to deny that Dyer was dead or anything, but is there a source for his death other than the Rebel Scum website's info on the bust? Like, in a character bio included on the actual product, maybe a photo on it? I'm asking because I tried to search for an image giving the bio, but it never actually stated it, and I don't exactly trust bios stated on Rebelscum since its technically a fansite. Hey, I'm more than willing to believe that he died seeing how he did fall and possibly even landed on generator equipment (though granted, seeing how, at least according to Rebel Strike, that was roughly one story if not two stories tall, that seemed to be really pathetic especially for a Force-attuned like himself), but still, I need verifiable information, like a photograph before we can completely conclude it is the case, something I haven't found yet. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 03:07, April 18, 2013 (UTC)
- Never mind, I found an image showing the bio. Well, case closed. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 03:08, April 18, 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, upon reading the description a second time, the bio listed his death as being "apparent," hinting at some ambiguity. I took the liberty of editing the article to note that. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 03:22, April 18, 2013 (UTC)
Re: SW Trailer
Thanks for that, but I have already watched that scene on Youtube myself, and have easy access to it. The thing is, I don't think those images from the sourcebooks were direct film shots, as I watched that scene carefully many times to see if I could actually see that exact still, and it seems to me like that might have been a production photo, and if that's the case there's really no way to truly identify masked stormtroopers. I know I've been blocked for a personal attack before but that was an accident. I am trying to not do that, I really am and in case you don't know, I lived out my block hating myself. I am working really hard to get my status back: Barely cared about status. And you have probably heard about Darth Muscare from Darthipedia or Simple Darthipedia right? Well he was the one who got me blocked. I was stupid enough to actually obey him on the Darthipedia IRC channel and ask Darth Culator to stop hacking Muscare (which I now realize he wasn't hacking him at all, and if you take this as a another personal attack against Culator trust me it isn't.) So I am sorry if I am causing trouble, but I am just a little mad. Trust me I am trying so hard to do nothing that will get me blocked. Wolf Screech

Vesla & Vesla Minor system
Jang, originally the EAOC only gave reference to the Vesla system. Late in 2012, the Vesla Minor system was introduced. This means that there had to be some sort of conflict or duplicate system hence the "Minor" addition. Systems don't just appear in EAOC for no good reason. There has to be a novel, comic etc that establishes this system or celestial bodies named "Vesla". I appended the tag in the hope that someone will be able to identify why there are now two Vesla systems and which sources they appeared in. Thanks. Rokkur Shen (talk) 00:37, April 19, 2013 (UTC)
- From what I gather from comments by Jason Fry, there are cases where a system has had "Minor" appended to the name because there was two conflicting systems of the same name but located in different sectors. So there was "Vesla system" in the Outer Rim and "Vesla system" in Wild Space. One ended up being renamed "Vesla Minor system" as a result to avoid confusion. My issues is that there is a Vesla system mentioned in The Old Republic: The Lost Suns but where does the other Vesla come from? Was it mentioned in a novel or other comic? RE: Infobox
My apologies for stirring something up - all I was trying to do was make the infobox more informative with real information. For example, Ahsoka Tano did have yellow eyes briefly in the Altar of Mortis which I sourced. I think I did add sources for some of those pages that I edited, though I shall take your suggestions on board when editing infoboxes again. If there is anything else you would like to comment - or rebutt against this - please feel free to leave a message. Dark Lord 21 (talk) 12:33, April 22, 2013 (UTC)

WP:VG milestone
Good day, gamers! WookieeProject Video Games has reached a new milestone. The members of WP:VG have taken 100 articles to Comprehensive status! The 100th article was Inspector-General, from the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II in-game databank. The full list of articles can be seen here. WP:VG and its members can be proud of the accomplishments we have made. As we near the two year mark of this ambitious project, we look back and see all the great progress and improvements we have made to Wookieepedia as a whole and the video game aspect of the wiki in particular. Most of these 100 articles would have probably been lost in the shuffle had it not been for the hard work, dedication, and patient perceptiveness of the users who comprise WP:VG. Out of all the current WookieeProjects, WookieeProject Video Games has the second highest amount of Comprehensive articles to its name. I would like to say good work and congratulations to all the members of WP:VG. Keep up the excellent job, and May the Force be with the Gamers!—Cal Jedi (Personal Comm Channel) 20:41, May 28, 2013 (UTC)

Behind the Magic
Hello Jang, as I know you're working on ANH articles, and that you accessed Star Wars: Behind the Magic, would you be able to check for Deacon Eso, seeing if images of him are shown, possibly just distant shots of everyone there? If not, I'm 99.9% certain the script mentions "Dodonna and several other dignitaries sit(ting) on the left of the Princess Leia" as an (Indirect mention only). Thanks in advance. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 05:02, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
- Could you possibly show me scanned images for my analysis? And does the script component indeed mention that line I mentioned in BTM, as not all versions of that script are 100% the same? Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 13:33, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
- Does it show all the Rebel extras though? There are shots such as this that don't show all of them. And Deacon is in the far left and generally seems minimally pictured. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 13:57, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
- Hope this helps. Shows him at the very left. My guess is, given the fact that it's cropped even narrower than the image from this site I showed, it most likely doesn't include him. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 14:03, June 3, 2013 (UTC)

Valid edit
Well, according to Deagostini's Star Wars Fact File FAQ, there are indeed 120 issues planned. Whether they'll all be released, of course, is a different matter so the validity of the edit may still be in question. Legacy book
Hey Jang. I check WeedleMcHairybug's link and it indeed match's the link for Star Wars: Legacy Book 1. That's the official title on Dark Horse and June 5 (today) is the correct release date. So you can go ahead and delete the Star Wars Legacy Volume 1 Hardcover. Also, I saw an earlier post. The Official FACT FILE has 120 issues planned, and if that's what they say then that's what's probably going to happen, unless a few months from now, sales suck and they pull the plug. Anyway I think the edit is okay, they are redlinks after all. Also congrats on your Adminship!!!Darth Pickle 2 (talk) 01:42, June 6, 2013 (UTC)

I agree. However, blanket deletion of all of the content is not acceptable either. I have gone ahead and reformatted it in sentence/paragraph form for the article body, but Trip391 should have done that instead of deleting it and then engaging in a revert war. —GethralkinHyperwave 01:05, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
- I see that now. I only glanced at the history and saw several changes, of which I now see—now that I'm paying attention—that only one of his and one of Cade's were reverts. However, Cade made subsequent changes to the article that were not pertinent to the issue at hand, which made it appear more reverts were made (yeah, I wasn't looking closely). —GethralkinHyperwave 01:29, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

Star Wars Insider 137 cover
Hello JangFett! I have a little problem with one of the images I added a few weeks ago, so I thought that perhaps an administrator could help me on that one. I uploaded a new version of the cover for Star Wars Insider 137 (the final cover), and recently I noticed that only the former version appears on the issue's article. Things become even weirder in the file history, as it seems like I uploaded the same image, but I didn't. Did I make a mistake when I uploaded it, or is it some kind of glitch? Thank you in advance for your help and sorry for disturbing you. Regards.--LennyF (talk) 16:14, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

Formatting
Hi, I have a question about formatting. In an infobox, do all the references always go after a caption? Like in this article, it was like that before, but I moved one reference to a senator, leaving one reference to the caption, because I thought that one reference confirms that the senator either supported or opposed the proposal, while the other reference confirms what planet/sector did that senator represent in the Senate. But now I think that this is probably wrong formatting. Darth Pythonis (Talk) 16:01, July 5, 2013 (UTC)

Thacia Cho Leem on the KB
Hey, I appreciate what you say about Darth Maul on your profile.
But I'd just like to discuss what is best to do with this situation.
The color of Thracia Cho Leem's lightsaber is unidentified by the article, so I am fishing with the KB to see if anyone can confirm it is unknown. The ambiguity in the article I was hoping someone could sort out on the KB.
I got into some unpleasantness after intentionally breaching policy for the Talk pages on articles multiple times, and told people I'd stay off them afterwards. The article might need help or adjusting in light of the confused state it has left me in, but I had given up on touching article talk pages and didn't think seeking answers on the topic would be bad to do through the KB. I have no problem if you don't think it shoukd be that way.
It wasn't my intention to try to get the wiki editing/improving the article on Cho Leem by my questions. It was purely to get information absent from the article. If you think I should post these questions on the talk page for the article, then know that I need you to have my back in that you told me to move them there. I am not editing that page. I know little on the character, however much she has been used a little bit. But if others can look at the problems with the article and try to fix them on their own, then I'll do it.—Unsigned comment by 99.188.36.80 (talk • contribs)

Thanks Jang for the confirmation on some things. Lightsaber color is a personal interest. And I thought I remembered the article originally included a blue lightsaber color. I've learned to be cautious about trusting Wookieepedia articles a long time. And I've learned some of the rules for the Talk pages, and protesting less important and pointless ones to try to encourage needed edits was what got me in trouble last time. I might leave behind a copy of my concerns for others to discuss while editing the page, but I'm still staying clear of trying to mess with those things. Someone gave me a tip to try talking to people on their pages who have the materials for the information. I think I'll try that. It is approved, right? Thanks for confirming the part about the Lost Twenty. I will assume for now that Cho Leem was out of contact with the Jedi Order following her mysterious exit. I read the Codex in Rogue Planet, and it says the reasons were unknown. I don't know how anyone could get the service to the Force from that, but it is a good idea to explain why she left.99.188.36.80 17:56, July 24, 2013 (UTC)
- Jang, if only it was just recommended to keep things on talk pages. But it's not. My concern isn't the article. It is the information the article doesn't have that I need. And that is probably in the hands of the fans who have it where the article doesn't. I'll put up a posting to get people maybe looking into cleaning up this article, But I have given up coming to this wiki to edit. I've come to glean. Thanks for your pointers. Have a good one, Fett. May the Force be with the lightsaber that took your head off...Oh wait! Alright...May the kyber dart be with you! That's good.—Unsigned comment by 99.188.36.80 (talk • contribs)

Verizon rangeblocks
Hey. Just want to let you know that I re-issued the two rangeblocks you made tonight to fix the spelling of Verizon in the block reason. I normally wouldn't do that on most blocks, but since these are rangeblocks likely to affect many innocent users, I want to ensure that we look professional to and not confuse any first-time editors who may see that message. No other block settings were changed. Glad to see you figure out how to do a rangeblock. :) —MJ— Comlink 03:37, July 27, 2013 (UTC)
External links template
Hey Jang, Darth Pickle 2 here. I want to be the best Wookieepedian I can possibly be, and I want to source links correctly. How can I source links for everything, besides Amazon which you taught me to do.Darth Pickle 2 (talk) 03:06, July 29, 2013 (UTC)
Victorious Reign
Just a heads up. I addressed your objections of Victorious Reign a while back.

Wrong title
Hey Jang, Im anidiot. I spelled Surprise as Suprise as the title for the page, the Suprise Attack of Jabba the Puppett. How do you edit a title of a page? ThanksDarth Pickle 2 (talk) 02:09, August 6, 2013 (UTC)
Query about Kycina
Hello friend, been a while, I am glad you managed to obtain the position of admin. Does The Official Star Wars Fact File 1 (remake) mention anything about Kycina that the stories Darth Plagueis and Restraint don't cover?—Jedi Kasra ("Indeed.") 18:29, August 8, 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks, man.—Jedi Kasra ("Indeed.") 01:00, August 12, 2013 (UTC)
Age of Rebellion BETA
Please note that Star Wars: Age of Rebellion: Roleplaying Game BETA is a duplicate of Star Wars: Age of Rebellion BETA. I moved the latter one to make a redirect and it needs to be moved the spot the first article occupies. Can you please delete the first one mentioned above? FYI, Darth Pickle is not checking first to see if any articles already exist before he starts creating them, and this isn't the first time he's created duplicate articles this way. —GethralkinHyperwave 16:05, August 14, 2013 (UTC)
JangFett
JangFett, I must say that I DID NOT PUT ANY FANFICTION. Fortunately, I just happen to own Star Wars: The Clone Wars Seasons 3 and 4 on DVDs. Let’s jump in, shall we. 1. In chronological order, my claim that Opress learned the ways of the Force rapidly is justified. Prior to Dooku giving Opress any experience of how to feel the Force, Dooku told Opress to lift several pillars, as seen in “Witches of the Mist”. For 3:51-4:01, Opress only lifted them to a meager distance. However, Dooku then proceeded to spur Opress’s rage by electrocuting him. “I hate you!” – Opress; 4:38 “Good”-Dooku; 4:41 At 4:48-4:51, Opress proceeded to lift the pillars several meters of the ground when boosted by his rage. I do believe that you say in Darth Krayt’s Wookieepedia page, “his power was augmented by the hatred he felt towards Sing for murdering his father. This indicates that A’Sharad Hett had discovered a basic understanding of Force rage. If this can be said about Krayt, then surely we can say the same about Savage. 2. At 13:04 in “Witches of the Mist,” Savage Opress quite obviously Force pushed Anakin and Obi-Wan’s shuttle. 3. At 15:42, Opress CLEARLY DISARMED DOOKU. 4. From 16:50-16:56, Opress had Dooku and Ventress simultaneously hoisted up in a Force choke, which they were not able to get out of until Opress through them into a wall at 16:57. 5. At 17:02, Opress hit both Ventress and Dooku with overpowering strikes that sent them flying into a wall. 6. At 17:51-17:54, and at 18:50-18:54, Opress is CLEARLY DEPICTATED AS DRIVING KENOBI AND SKYWALKER BACK DOWN A HALLWAY! 7. Watch the frames at 19:14-19:15. Watch it carefully, and you WILL SEE THAT OPRESS’S REPULSE KNOCKS AWAY BLASTER BOLTS FLYING TOWARDS HIM, DESTROYS THE DROIDS AROUND HIM, AND KNOCKS KENOBI AND SKYWALKER FLAT ONTO THEIR FACES! 8. IN THE EPISODE BROTHERS. 0:47-1:16 “I can sense him, Grievous. That creature, Savage Opress, his growing stronger, and stronger. As each day passes..[Grievous replies].. “He is a threat to all of us, even Jedi. With the Nightsisters eradicated, there is no one left to control him. Something is rising. Something…Sinister! -Dooku
2:24-2:40 “Cheers. [Quickly turns around when door to cantina opens]. -Ventress “Why so tense?” -Fellow bounty hunter. “I don’t know, I thought I sensed someone from my…past.-Venress “Who is this someone?”-Fellow bounty hunter “A monster!”-Ventress
4:52-5:00 “Master. Anakin!” - Ahsoka “I sense a disturbance, something, sinister.” - Anakin AS SEEN IN THESE EXCHANGES, OPRESS HAS NOT ONLY GROWN STRONGER IN THE FORCE, BUT STRONG ENOUGH TO CREATE A DISTURBENCE THAT DOOKU, VENTRESS, AND SKYWALKER PROFOUNDLY FEEL! 9. IN REVENGE 13:44-13-54 A duel takes place between Opress and Kenobi. At the conclusion of this TEN SECOND DUEL, Opress disarmed Kenobi. 10. Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Darth Maul: Shadow Conspiracy Around pages 30-32, it explains the duels on Florrum seen in Revival. It mentions that at first, Adi Gallia tried to match Opress’s blows head to head. However, not even a Jedi Council Master could match Opress’s strength. So she went on to try and outmaneuver Opress. With this tactic, she was able to kick Opress’s knee. 11. Revival. On Cartoon Network site, a two minute video depicts the duel of Maul and Savage vs Adi Gallia and Obi Wan. 0:14-1:14 Opress and Gallia duel, a duel which ends with Opress gutting Gallia with his horns. In my description, I called this a short duel. I AM SURE WE CAN CALL A ONE MINUTE DUEL SHORT. 12. Duel with Sidious In “Lawless” Clone Wars episode, Savage Opress and Maul dueled with Sidious. Seeing by the fact that Opress blocked at least one strike, he lasted longer than Saesee Tinn and Agen Kolar. As for Fisto, Fisto lasted eight seconds, counting from the moment Sidious’s feet landed in front of the Jedi Masters to the moment Fisto was struck. Even when alone against Sidious, Opress lasted EXACTLY twenty seconds, starting from the moment he charged at Sidious to when Sidious stabbed him. Therefore, even when alone, he lasted longer than Fisto, Tinn, and Kolar.

First EduCorps meeting
Hello, I am inviting you to the very first EduCorps IRC meeting, which will be held at 7 PM ET on Saturday August 31st. I am inviting all Inquisitors, AgriCorps members, and EduCorps members to a meeting in order to discuss the large amount of old comprehensive articles that are in need of maintenance. I would also like to discuss the possibility of increasing the responsibilities of EduCorps-only users due to the lack of reviewers on the Comprehensive article nominations page and CA review page. Please come join the discussion on this page if you wish to participate in the meeting. I encourage anyone who wants to contribute to add any articles with issues to the appropriate section on the page. Thank you for your time.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 03:59, August 18, 2013 (UTC)
"Holocam E" and "Cammy"
Hey Jang. I just noticed that we have only one article for both the Holocam E droid series and the individual droid named Cammy. I tried to create a new page for the latter, but Cammy redirects to Holocam E. Could you tell me how I can bypass that? Regards. --LelalMekha (talk) 23:45, August 21, 2013 (UTC)
- That's all I needed to know. Thanks! ;-) --LelalMekha (talk) 20:25, August 23, 2013 (UTC)

Hey, Jang, I just wanted to notify you of this. Cheers.—Cal Jedi (Personal Comm Channel) 14:07, August 26, 2013 (UTC)
Citing
Hi, could you please explain this policy? Comprehensive articles appear to be sourced in the first paragraph? Thanks. Bo Shuda (talk) 14:20, August 28, 2013 (UTC)
- Just to clarify, "If, of course, the information does not appear elsewhere in the article, then it is acceptable to source it in the introduction." - from WP:S. Seems contradictory/I'm still confused??? Bo Shuda (talk) 14:24, August 28, 2013 (UTC)
- There really is nothing else left to be said about her. I don't see how this article could benefit from repeating what's in the intro as a biography section. I'm not going to push it any further but it just doesn't make sense. Thanks anyway. Bo Shuda (talk) 14:30, August 28, 2013 (UTC)
