Hi, I was wondering if you could review Comet (clone trooper) on the FAN page. He's been sitting there a while, and if its because of the quality of the article, the sooner I know there's problems with it the sooner it'll be fixed. On the contrary; it says right on the page that George Lucas based Ziro's voice on Truman Capote - a writer who was well-known for his effeminate voice and manner.

Furthermore, describing Ziro's voice as effeminate is exactly that: a description - one that can be sufficiently backed up by any on-screen media in which he has a speaking role. Official Friends of Wookieepedia nominee

I have seen that the proposal of making The Clone Wars Wiki an Official Friend of Wookieepedia has been rejected by majority opposition. I'd like to inquire if it would be possible to, one day (no time soon, mind you), renominate it for that title. ObiKenobiUPC proposed this at a poor time as I understand the wiki is not exactly at three-star quality, with many articles in bad shape. But the administrators of that wiki (myself included) have begun a massive cleanup project to bring the wiki up to good quality, and, just maybe, OFW standards. We've made great strides in this already; there are some articles that even rival their Wookieepedian counterparts (amount of content-wise).

So, in a great deal of time as well as proper formatting and referencing, we may reach a point where we will be able to resubmit the previously mentioned request. The content of this wiki does indeed outweigh the content of The Clone Wars wiki, and I feel one of the reasons for opposing it was that the wiki is much looser with sourcing and has less of an established format. Not to mention some of their reasons were because it was a limited version of this wiki and it's "something that should rightfully fall under Wookieepedia." (Define rightfully) Which, to me anyway, kind of contradicts the guideline, "Nominations must be related in some way to Star Wars, Wookieepedia's sole concentration". Anyway, we are currently working to greatly improve the quality of that wiki so that it may be a neatly and well formatted and written.

With that said, I'm not asking if it is likely to gain any more support if it may be renominated, I'm asking if it would be possible for it to be renominated. Bane7670 (talk) 22:34, July 10, 2012 (UTC)

I know that Nix Card appears on Zygerria in Slaves of the Republic, but Mak Plain's article currently lists him as appearing there as well. • The answer to the question of how the squadrons in the episodes got their names is easy: LFL named them, those names were given to SWPM along with episodic material to show how they should look, and SWPM created models displaying the names of the squadrons and showing their color schemes. LFL's TCW episodes are the sources and the cited attribution explains this logically. The reason that asking us to explicitly connect each and every unit appearance is not reasonable is that the units appear in all episodes that they are shown in. WP:ATT clearly states that original research does not include "logical deductions[,] based on fully attributed data." Therefore, if my fellow representative says that all game pieces are based on the matching appearances in the TCW series, can you explain to me what I am missing here? —Gethralkin^Hyperwave 01:59, August 23, 2012 (UTC)

Replacing duplicate/obsolete images

Hey there CC, I wanted to see if you were OK with me editing your sub-pages, and project pages with the higher quality PNG grabs I've been taking on my own, or do you still prefer I use the talk pages? I assure you all I'll ever do is replace identical images with higher quality versions, and I'll always use the "2.7 Replaced duplicate image(s)" edit summary. I'm going to be going through Season Three to get better screenshots, and thought it might save some time. If you'd prefer I didn't, no worries. Hey CC! Sorry about that. I don't do too much with the FA process so I guess I'm a little unfamiliar with all the rules. I'd seen other users make similar edits to ongoing FA noms for similar purposes, and thought it fell under the SoFixIt rule for the little stuff. Sorry again, didn't mean to step on any toes. Y'know, when I got Warfare, I was actually intending to do the work up of the Excision article myself, but you were too quick and stole it right out from under me. :P You did a really nice job, though. • I suppose there's enough wiggle room with a term as essentially broad as "bombardment" to want to ensure that nobody got any wrong ideas, though upon reading the section yet again, I still feel as if an orbital bombardment was the implication. No big deal, though. However, I do feel as if there's a place for a note or at least a link to the Mandalorian Civil War. As you wrote in the article's intro: "The schism in ideology ensured that further conflict would ensue, as it did well into the time of the Clone Wars." It only seems fitting the article details some hint of what that conflict was; you discuss the Death Watch/New Mandalorian strife from TCW, but not a word on the similar civil war that preceded it. I'm not suggesting some lengthy treatise, but a brief, say...one or two sentences that brush over the highlights of the conflict and how it perpetuated Mandalorian tensions during the Clone Wars. I also think there should be maybe an additional sentence at the end of the second "Aftermath" paragraph, noting from The Essential Atlas that the New Mandalorians were eventually overcome and Mandalore returned largely to it's former ways, illustrating that the Excision's effects on Mandalore's society were long lasting but not permanent. And lastly, I noticed you changed the descriptive preface for Sundari back to simply "Mandalore's capital". While I understand you're taking this from a few pro-TCW sources, even The Essential Atlas continues to corroborate Keldabe as the capital of Mandalore. That's why, in the interest of reflecting all available sources, I chose to change the description to the "New Mandalorian capital". Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide: Updated and Expanded

I'm afraid I must be the last active Wookieepedian to see this, but I've noted the changes going on around the wiki due to the newly established timeline of Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide: Updated and Expanded. And I need some help if you've got enough time for me. I understand the order of events in TCW series and I've gotten that the omissions of the book are still existent in the timeline, but I just need to know if I'm missing anything with the latter. Is there anything that has been excluded from the timeline? Are there any major changes to the canon Clone Wars timeline, in either comics or episodes? I've seen the Forum:SH:TCW Timeline 2012 page, but I was a little tardy to that party (in other words, it was so long since the last post, no one would have seen my input). Looks like I may just not edit anymore, I spend so much time getting screenshots, it really takes a while for me to find a good shot and then they just get removed. • CC, I would just like to give you a heads up on the situation. I was not intending to be rude or to "chew out" DarthRevan, I was simply politely asking him to stop creating unnecessary talk pages at the large quantities that he has been - i.e. one for every new article in the last two hours. My asking him this was a culmination of the general discussion in the IRC, and it appears that the lateness of the hour made me be rather abrupt with him. Also, as the conversation progressed, my attempts at incredulity and honest questions now appear to be quite easily mistaken for sarcasm and an antagonistic attitude, which was not my intention. I was quite simply surprised that DR seemed to ignore Culator's semi-subtle advice to stop, and DR and I might have turned the conversation antagonistic. Hey CC7567 wanted your opinion on something. For a while I have been thinking of creating a couple lightsaber pages. Do they have to be truly notable to deserve an article? Don't want to create them then have them deleted. It is of my opinion that the lightsaber is as unique as the Jedi that created it. Just wanted to see where you stand on it before I do anything. Season Five is a last season according to Hasbro?!

Hey there CC!

Since when does this site support speculation that is unconfirmed by anybody as worthy source of information?! Somebody over at a Q&A speculating that S5 is the last season is not a good source. Nobody like George Lucas, Dave Filoni or even a CN head has said that Season Five will be the last season. I think it should be removed cause it only causes unneeded panic in loyal TCW fans. When the show gets a cancellation from CN or is stopped officially by Lucas then it should be noted but as of now it just as good as fanboys speculating on TFN or Rebelscum.

Ewoks

I'm sorry for trying to expand the wiki. What is the point if we cannont add pages. Why did they have to be deleted. Just because they didn't have a name? Creating the page now saves having to search through endless unattributed images later when the character is finally named. Should not all characters that appeared in the films have a page? I suppose we should go an delele all the the other unidentified character pages (such as the unidentifed woklings - pages I did not create mind you) then also should I until there are no pages left on this wiki? Having a page with visual images and what little info we have on such characters plus the time they appeared in the movies would allow others to gather more info on these characters than if these pages did not exist at all. Eras template

• The page that I had [[Unidentified avian species (Kalee)|tagged]] has only appeared in one era so far. According to the eras template talkpage it says that we should tag the articles with the eras we know they appeared in regardless if their species, weapons, tech, characters, and so on. I was under the impression that marking them like that is what we are supposed to do. But I'm probably wrong, seem to have been alot lately. Today's GA

Thanks for killing the redirect and the March 4 stuff on the queue page. I don't normally intrude on the AC/Inq's areas like this, but the redlink on the Main Page needed to be fixed ASAP. I updated the "recently showcased" articles on today's and each of the next three days, updated the article name on the queue page, and updated the date on the article's talk page. It looks like he's the first article to pass a FAN shortly after passing a GAN since we established the GA queue, meaning that he's on both queues right now and set to be featured on the Main Page twice. With the images from TCW film that I'm working on now, many of them will be used across several pages, so I'm trying to methodically work on them to get the single-use images done first. I wanted to update all the ones that are on your Rex workbench at once, so as to not have to make several smaller edits. Hey CC, yeah I've been keeping an eye on that. It does look a little ridiculous, but I would caution against separating it into two articles. Yes, it would be prettier and less complex, but don't all sources refer to the Battle of Ryloth? Whatever distinction we make in the articles would be largely arbitrary so I think keeping it as a single article would be best. The other alternative is to treat it like a {{Campaign}} and list the Invasion of Ryloth, the [[Liberation of Nabat]], the Battle of Lessu, and the [[Battle of Resdin]] as component conflicts. Oh sorry, wasn't aware that imdb was not a reliable source :/ You are, however, wrong about IMDB. For editing there you also need to source the info, plus only users who subscribe (and therefore pay) and have specific authorizations, can edit that kind of information. Unidentified character articles

Hi! Sorry to bother you, but I recently got back to the Wiki after being absent for about 4 months and I noticed that a lot of the unidentified character articles that I wrote had been nominated for deletion. Is there any way I can get back to creating articles without them ending up nominated? I did take care so that the articles I made were only about characters that were notable (following my personal notability policy), but apparently many users felt that the articles were still unneeded. • I know that the episodes have the prod. number. But I remember that there was a list somewhere, where all the episodes released so far, from all seasons were in one list, following each other according to the prod. numbers. It was a listjust like a Season-list, with images and release dates, but in prod. order. Therefore, the order was not the same as at the Seasons. (because, eg. the Revival was released before A War on Two Fronts, but the later is before Revival in prod. order. Understand now? And I'm looking for the list where "A War on Two Fronts is before Revival", if you understand what I mean. I think I saw that list somewhere among your pages. Correct me if I'm wrong. The only reason I'm partial to the second image is that with the brightness/contrast tweaks I've made, she's not as neon green as in Culator's version currently in use - therefore I believe this is a truer representation color-wise. Option three is an alternate option, and closer in headshot, but as she was in movement during the shot, there is some blurriness to it. Editing errors

Sorry for disturbing, but can you tell me where can I contact a maintenance team? • OK, I see. i just wanted to know why does not the Neimoidian, red backgrounded verify template is there at the section I mentioned. About the categories I just wanted to add the category of "Super tactical droids" and "Tactical droids", as there are several of "their kind". I know that by now, there are only 2 known super tactical droids (Kalani and Aut-O), but i think we can expect more and, well, there is a Category page for Parwans too, while there are only 3 known Parwans by now. Hi, I have a question about Florrum: Was it conquered by the CIS? But in the episode Revival we see Hondo and the last of his men among the ruins of his base, but if Grievous did conquer Florrum, wouldn't there be a fleet or a droid army on the planet. First Skirmish on Carlac

I'm looking for more knowledgeable opinions on this question and was recommended to you.

Would the First Skirmish on Carlac, from A Friend in Need, start when Tryla is killed, when Death Watch starts torching the village, when Ahsoka starts trying to defend the village or even later when Ahsoka and Pre Vizsla start dueling at the Death Watch camp? Also, while I would say it does, would the speeder chase at the end count as part of the skirmish?

Clone Wars Map

Hello again, I have a question regarding this map from the Atlas: some users believe that if a world is shown in Republic/Separatist space, then it was a Republic/Separatist world, but others like me believe that we can't assume affiliations without confirmation. Even so, some articles state this world "was aligned with the Republic" or it's "located within Separatist space"—so I'm not sure what to believe.
