Biography
Thia Huplo was a Mon Calamari merchant who begun working with the rebels of Typhoon Squadron on the Outer Rim jungle planet Akiva[1] by 3 ABY.[2] They operated their business from the squadron's Kivo-Base located west of the Akivan city of Myrra[2] in 3 ABY.[2] During which, their inventory included jarwal fiber, slivian iron, chalcopyrite, transparisteel coarseweave, bacta vials, grenades, and at least one blaster recirculator. Later that year, Kivo-Base was excavated after the Galactic Empire learned of its existence and location from the crime lord Jaylen Vrax. Following the evacuation of the base and the destruction of the Revelator, Huplo began operating out of a small settlement in the north of Myrra Valley on Akiva.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] a Vess purchased Huplo's blaster recirculator and used it to upgrade her VM-19 heavy blaster pistol.[1]
Personality and traits
Thia Huplo was a Mon Calamari with blue-grey skin, green eyes, and spoke Galactic Basic.[1]

Behind the scenes
Thia Huplo appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. They were identified by the game's subtitles as simply "Rebel Merchant". In the game, blaster recirculator's like the one for sale by Huplo were rare items which were required for a number of the player's heavy blaster pistol upgrades. The player can only purchase items from Huplo after the "Legacy" main quest, during which the player gains access to the rebel hideout on Akiva. However following the "Revelator" main quest, Huplo will relocated to the settlement in Myrra Valley.[1]
