Jackets were a type of clothing worn over other layers of clothing on the torso.[1] For his wedding with Leia Organa, Han Solo wore a jacket given to him by his friend Lando Calrissian who claimed it was from Organa's homeworld of Alderaan in order to get Solo to wear it.[2]
