Wire of Chalcopyrite
Chalcopyrite, is a common mineral found in the galaxy. It was used in various equipment including blasters.[1]
Behind the scenes
Chalcopyrite first appeared in the canon continuity in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws that was published by Ubisoft. In the game it was used as an upgrade material for the player's blaster.[1]
It was first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends in the 1990 sourcebook Galaxy Guide 6: Tramp Freighters for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games.[2]
Out of universe, chalcopyrite is a copper iron sulfide mineral that was a common source for copper throughout history.[3]
