Plot summary
While aboard the Starlight Beacon, Yoda meets three younglings in the Jedi training room, Toko, Bree and Jon. They had were scared to become Jedi after 8D-8D told them stories of Jedi Knights. Yoda tried to get them to train again by having a Wookiee Padawan named Burry tell them a story from when he was young, how he made a scary climb easier by taking it one step at a time. Yoda then takes Toko to Geonosis where she is at first scared of the bugs before they fly around and she find them fascinating. Then Master Yoda takes Jon to Mon Cala where he conquers his fear of swimming in the ocean. Then Yoda takes Bree to Elphrona, a place where plants can’t grow, and she conquers her fear of being alone through imagination. He then takes all the younglings to Utapau to conquer their fear of the dark together. They become Jedi Brave and manage to find a way out of a deep dark cave and return to the Starlight Beacon and continue training.

Formerly known by its working title Yoda and the Younglings, it's a High Republic kids's picture book I wrote with my daughter Rosemary. Amazing for me both as a dad and a creative person. Out this fall with art from Valerie Valdivia!" (backup link)
