The Tadrin sector was a sub-sector of the Cassander sector in the Outer Rim Territories[1] and New Territories.[2] In grid square K-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid, it contained the Biitu, Garqi, Minashee, Monhudle, Sason and Uvoss systems.[1] The Garqi system contained the astronomical object Garqi, where labor action in the caf plant sector led to a point-two percent reduction in Garqi's revenue[4] in 33 BBY.[5]
The Uvoss system contained the unremarkable yellow star Uvoss and three[6] uninhabitable[7] planets: two gas giants and a bulbous chunk of iron.[6] In 33 ABY,[8] Resistance pilot Poe Dameron successfully led a mission to hijack the luxury yacht of First Order sympathizer Senator Erudo Ro-Kiintor in the Uvoss system, escaping from a First Order fleet with the yacht.[6]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Tadrin sector first appeared in Greg Rucka's 2015 anthology book Before the Awakening[6] and was first picutred in the 2016 replica journal Poe Dameron: Flight Log, which was written by Michael Kogge.[7] The sector was first identified in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were also written by Fry.[9]
The sector originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in "The Great Heep," a television movie released as part of the animated series Star Wars: Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO[10] on June 7, 1986.[11] It was first identified in Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds, a Star Wars Roleplaying Game supplement that Fry worked on that was published by Wizards of the Coast in 2004.[12]

Same galaxy, same map. In the rare event something needs to be changed, it will be discussed. (In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).
