The Uvoss system was a star system located in the Tadrin sector, a subsector of the Cassander sector in the Outer Rim Territories in grid square K-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It contained Uvoss, an unremarkable yellow star orbited by three[3] uninhabitable[2] planets, including a "bulbous chunk of iron" and two enormous gas giants.[3] By around the year 34 ABY,[4] its major industry, iron mining, was long dormant, and it fell within the Borderlands,[2] the stretch of space between the territory of the New Republic and the First Order.[3]
