The Minashee system was a star system in the Tadrin sector within the Cassander sector of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and New Territories.[2] It was located in grid square K-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and contained Minashee, the homeworld of the human Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas and his father, who worked as a Fisherman.[3] Minashee was part of the Cassandran Worlds,[4] a historical name for the three Cassander sectors.[5]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Minashee system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[6] The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[7]
