Star Wars: The Original Trilogy – A Graphic Novel is a graphic novel adapting the events of the Star Wars original trilogy. It was published by Disney–Lucasfilm Press on March 1, 2016.[2] The hardcover volume comprises 208 pages and is intended for children ages 8–12.[2] It serves as a companion piece to the subsequent Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy – A Graphic Novel. IDW Publishing later re-released the graphic novel in three distinct editions based on each original trilogy film as Star Wars: A New Hope Graphic Novel Adaptation[4], Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Graphic Novel Adaptation[5] and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Graphic Novel Adaptation[6].
