Yesula's father

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A male individual of a non-human species was the father of the child Yesula. At a point no earlier than 227 BBY, their home on the astronomical object Veek caught fire. As they were being rescued by Jedi Master Kelnacca and his Padawan, Yarzion Vell, Yesula's father carried her out of their home, despite her protests. After safely escaping, Yesula said that their droid Zeekay, who had holos of her deceased mother in his databank, was still inside. Vell rescued the droid and returned him to Yesula, with her father thanking the Padawan.

Biography

A male individual of a non-human species was the father of the child Yesula. Yesula also had a mother, who at some point died.^[1] No earlier than 227 BBY,^[2] the home of Yesula and her father on the Outer Rim astronomical object Veek caught on fire. As they were being rescued by Jedi Master Kelnacca and his Padawan, Yarzion Vell, Yesula's father carried her out of the building. Yesula protested against leaving, but her father insisted they must and brought her outside. After they escaped, Yesula cried out again, causing her father to hush her, but Yesula then stated that their droid Zeekay was still inside.^[1]

Vell asked who he was, so Yesula's father told the Jedi he was their droid but noted that as he was old and barely functioning it did not matter. However, Yesula insisted that it did matter, as Zeekay had holos of her mother in his databank and that if they lost him it would be as if they lost her mother again. After hearing the child's distress, Vell re-entered their burning home and rescued Zeekay. He then returned the droid to Yesula, and her father thanked the Padawan.^[1] Around 149 BBY,^[3] as Vell was dying, he mentioned Yesula and her father to his own Padawan, Ordea, while telling them about his training under Kelnacca.^[1]

Personality and traits

Yesula's father was a male member of the same species as their child. Their body was covered in tan hair, which was lighter in an area around their eyes. They had black eyes and a black nose.^[1]

Yesula's father wore brown clothing.^[1]

Yesula's father appeared in a flashback in the one-shot comic The Acolyte - Kelnacca 1, written by Cavan Scott, illustrated by Marika Cresta,^[1] and published by Marvel Comics on September 4, 2024.^[4]
