Alphabetizing categories

Please be aware that articles are required to have their categories listed in alphabetical order. This is particularly important for our Featured articles, which by rule must adhere to all site policies to maintain their status. In this edit, you dropped the "Outer Rim species" category into that list out of alphabetic order. You will need to make sure you are listing these categories in alphabetic order in all future edits. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:00, November 8, 2018 (UTC)

  • Please now consider this your formal administrative warning regarding this matter. Since I issued you the previous notice, you have incorrectly added categories with respect to alphabetical order here and here. To reiterate, categories must be placed in articles in alphabetical order, in accordance with the previously linked Layout Guide. If you need help remembering the proper order of the English-language alphabet, please consult Wikipedia. Continued failure to abide by this site policy will result in a block from editing. Thank you for your cooperation. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:15, November 8, 2018 (UTC)
    • Again, you're continuing to list them in incorrect order. Please consider this your final warning regarding this. A block will be issued next time. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:00, November 9, 2018 (UTC)
      • I was not aware of the alphabet policy. In my haste I did not see the warnings until too late, just when I was starting to adhere to the alphabetical order I was blocked and was unable to explain or correct myself. --Humble1 (talk) 21:59, November 19, 2018 (UTC)

Blocked

Dialog-error You have been blocked from contributing for 1 week for persistent failure to properly add categories to articles in alphabetical order, in accordance with Wookieepedia policy, following three separate warnings. Your two most recent examples of this offense having occurred here and here. If you choose to return to editing once your block expires, additional blocks from editing of expanded duration will be issued if this continues. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:55, November 12, 2018 (UTC)

1st

Please be aware that {{1st}} should not be used in the Sources list. Please familiarize with our policy and practices, and amend your previous edits as necessary. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 23:25, May 28, 2020 (UTC)

  • If you continue to make these edits while disregarding this notice, you will be cut off from editing as a measure of damage control. Please don't let it come to that. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 23:38, May 28, 2020 (UTC)
  • Dialog-error You have been blocked from contributing for 1 hour for disregarding your talk page messages and continuing to make these edits in violation of site policy. I'm giving you a short block length of an hour to give you a chance to read your talk page and amend yourself. If you continue to err once this block expires, you will be re-blocked for a lengthier duration.. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 23:47, May 28, 2020 (UTC)

Platt's Starport Guide

Hello, Humble1. I see that you are adding Platt's Starport Guide as sources to various articles. Can you please check your edits -- I believe you are confusing Platt's Starport Guide with Platt's Smugglers Guide. I have listed all appearances from the Starport Guide previously and I know it is comprehensive. I have not yet done the same with the Smugglers Guide. - Sir Cavalier of OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 15:02, July 28, 2020 (UTC)

Stand and Deliver

Do the pages in Stand and Deliver fall under Appearances or Sources?

Black Sands of Socorro

Hey Humble1, can I ask you to hold off on all The Black Sands of Socorro tagging you are doing. I am in the middle of a major revamp of the appearances section and it will change most of that list in the next few days.--Sir Cavalier of OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 23:15, September 9, 2020 (UTC)

Warning: Attribution

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 23:14, 2 December 2020 (UTC)

  • Which source specifically? Humble1 (talk) 23:57, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
    • Really, this isn't even a question you should need to ask. Anytime you're not correctly sourcing any contribution you add to an article, you're violating our attribution policy. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 01:19, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

Second warning: Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 01:19, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

This is your third warning for failure to add properly attributed information to Wookieepedia articles. This being the latest offending edit. Wookieepedia is not a source. Just because you find information in another article doesn't mean it's correct. You need to directly attribute and source all information you add to articles, as has been explained to you already. Your next offense will result in a block from editing. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 22:41, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

Toria Tell

If her appearance is incorrect then it must be changed. Humble1 (talk) 12:52, 17 January 2021 (UTC)

Bria Tharen

Hey. I saw you added Underworld: The Yavin Vassilika 2 to Bria Tharen's appearances. Where in the issue is she? I've been back through it and can't see anything. Green Tentacle (Talk) 09:30, 12 April 2021 (UTC)

  • Then there us an error in Underworld: The Yavin Vassilika 2 Appearances or is Bria Tharen mentioned by name or indirectly? Humble1 (talk) 21:53, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
    • Not that I can see. Jozzel Moffet talks to the "Collector", but Underworld: The Yavin Vassilika 5 implies that that's Jan Dodonna, not Bria Tharen. I've removed her from the issue's appearances. Green Tentacle (Talk) 10:39, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
      • Okay Humble1 (talk) 12:02, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

1stm

Please investigate where a subject's first mention comes from before placing a {{1stm}} on an article. UberSoldat93 ClanMudhornSignet-Redemption (talk) 11:10, 12 May 2021 (UTC)

  • In regards to your edit to Otto, I discovered that Demolition was released on November 12 according to GameSpot, before the Prima Guide. Therefore, you made a false addition to the page, and this is why I must stress the importance of verifying information before acting on it. UberSoldat93 ClanMudhornSignet-Redemption (talk) 12:22, 12 May 2021 (UTC)

Comics

Why are you reverting bot edits and changing title= parameter to not match actual title on comic pages? These pages have been moved per Forum:CT:Naming policy: Legends comic books. 01miki10 Open comlink 22:35, 25 June 2021 (UTC)

  • I do not agree with the changes from Forum:CT:Naming policy: Legends comic books, the removing of the titles of Legends comics books leaving only numbers makes it look bland and clinical; i.e. when visitors come to Wookieepedia and look at Empire 1 they don't see Empire: Betrayal, Part 1 or Star Wars (1998) 45/Star Wars 45: Rite of Passage, Part 4 or Republic 46/Republic 46: Honor and Duty, Part 1 etc. Without the story titles on display in the link no one is going to interested in clicking because to whole list is just the same, with only different numbers.Humble1 (talk) 23:04, 26 July 2021 (UTC)
    • Well, you're free to disagree, but you still have to follow policy decided by community consensus. 01miki10 Open comlink 23:19, 26 July 2021 (UTC)

Ewoks 13

Ha, it seems that you got to Ewoks #13 just as I wrote up the Black Cavern. Funny coincidence! JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 01:15, 26 August 2021 (UTC)

  • I've been working my way back year by year starting from 1977 Humble1 (talk) 23:14, 26 August 2021 (UTC)

Redundant categories

Hey there. Just to say that I've reverted your edit here because the existing Category:Humanoids is part of the category that you added. It'd be nice if you keep redundant categories in mind when adding new categories. Cheers. OOM 224 12:34, 11 May 2022 (UTC)

Galaxy Guide 2 appearance

Hey there, I was looking into Dr'uun Unnh/Legends to see where it was mentioned in Galaxy Guide 2: Yavin and Bespin. I noticed you added it to the appearances section and, I know it's been a while, but I hoped you'd have any idea whereabouts they are mentioned as I haven't been able to find it. Only thing I can think of is that its an indirect mention (e.g. "Rebel scout") but it doesn't have the Imo template tag on either edition. Appreciate any direction or thoughts you have, thanks! Manoof (he/him/his) (talk) 13:15, 8 October 2022 (UTC)

  • The Dr'uun Unnh/Legends page already had Galaxy Guide 2: Yavin and Bespin as listed in Sources section and predated The Illustrated Star Wars Universe (the original (First mentioned) template location) by six years. There was no (Indirect mention only) template in both pages before I made that edit, and if Dr'uun Unnh/Legends is not mentioned by name but only indirectly as "Rebel scout" then that is likely the case. Many pages of older works lacked templates before I made those edits. Humble1 (talk) 22:11, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
    • Thanks, I thought that might've been the case but wanted to check :) Manoof (he/him/his) (talk) 02:17, 10 October 2022 (UTC)

Soresh

Hey, not sure why you undid this edit. Citations are indeed needed there. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 22:11, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

Warning about removing info and restoring speculation

Hello Humble1. While we appreciate other contributions you've made to Wookieepedia, we work to abide by community consensus, as defined by policy. We ask that you refrain from removing information that has a valid source presented and restoring user speculation that was intentionally removed because the source given did not support it. Questions about this process can be brought up in the Senate Hall in a respectful manner. Repeated attempts to disrupt Wookieepedia by further removal of sourced information and associated categories and by restoring user speculation will result in a block. Have a great day, and may the Force be with you! Immi Thrax RainbowRebellion2 (she/her) 17:44, 14 March 2023 (UTC)

Karn Valanti

Hi, please correct the template here, it currently treats the audiobook as the name of the subject. Thanks. UberSoldat93 ClanMudhornSignet-Redemption (talk) 04:15, 13 June 2023 (UTC)

Pronouns and gender

Hello! Please note that pronouns used to refer to an individual are not indicative of their gender, so it is not correct to assume a character's gender from the pronouns used for them, like you did here. Please also see this. Thank you. Imperators II(Talk) 06:59, 1 August 2023 (UTC)

  • The character in Legacy Era Campaign Guide was released in 2009, years before the pronoun trend. The author described the character as gender as female, thus she was intended to be female, and the concept of applying pronouns to fictional characters did not exist back then. Unsigned comment by Humble1 (talk • contribs)
    • It's not a trend, and setting aside your opinions and feelings on that matter, what Imperators is describing is community and site policy. Please do not revert or make any similar changes on other articles. Thank you. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 23:12, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
      • Yeah, Humble, the idea behind this is that we treat these fictional characters, regardless of the date they were introduced in, with the same non-assumptive tolerance and respect as we would real people. Imperators II(Talk) 07:17, 2 August 2023 (UTC)

Sourcing

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to Ondia Krasul added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. If you would like some help learning how to properly source additions, you can see this tutorial or ask for assistance in our Discord server. Thanks! Family infobox fields

Hey there, thanks for adding in family members to infobox fields - feel free to remove "new" from the unused fields as you go. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 23:13, 20 August 2024 (UTC)

Jedi Under Siege appearances

Remember that "Jedi Under Siege" takes place during Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Eternal Throne and not Star Wars: The Old Republic: Onslaught, so Alliance Alerts that were added before 6.0 should be considered as appearing in Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Eternal Throne.
