Hey Graestan, Thank you for the shout. It's quite a pleasure to be able to work here with you and others on the site.
Thanks again, Tommy 05:45, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Battle of Foerost
Hey, Grae. Just advising you that I added the newly formatted {{Great Sith War}} to the Battle of Foerost (Great Sith War) as part of a mass edit to all GSW battle articles. Letting you know since you have the {{Inuse}} template on that article. Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 16:10, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
A little addition to WP:TOTJ
Hey, Grae. I've added some additions to the project, more specifically here to help clean up featured articles that were FA'd outside of the project. Read through what I've written, and help out where possible if you so desire :) Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 14:06, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Aleema Keto
Hi Graestan,
Thanks for helping me with the Aleema article. Bear with me, I'm still new to this whole process. I'm trying though, and Toprawa's critique was extra helpful to me in how I edit things on this site. Anyway, I do appreciate your help and am more than accepting of it in the future.
Have a good day!

SWE
"A multitalented service droid owned by Jedi Andur Sunrider, the robot was a crack mechanic and copilot who witnessed his master's death at the hands of a criminal gang headed by Great Bogga the Hutt some 4,000 years before the Battle of Yavin. Called ThreeDee for short, the droid then aided Andur's wife, Nomi, as she reluctantly trained to learn the ways of the Jedi." Toprawa and Ralltiir 02:50, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
What do you think?
Hey, Grae. When you get a moment, can you take a look at Duel in the Senate (Old Republic)? It's a new article that Tommy created recently, but I was curious if you think there is any reason to have this separate from Second Battle of Coruscant (Great Sith War) (which you're currently working on), since the Second Battle of Coruscant is essentially 95% about the duel itself. I'm kinda torn, because I am all for having duel articles (I'm worked on more than a few during my time here), but this one seems to not be needed, unless I'm missing an angle somewhere. Let me know your thoughts. If need be, we can create a forum thread on WP:TOTJ and open it up to others for discussion as well. Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 13:34, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Re:Spaar
- Apology accepted. And just to further clear things up, I never take anyone's FAN objections as a personal issue. That's not the point of the process, and the idea of someone using it in that way is abhorrent to me. In particular, I would not expect any member of the Inquisitorius to use such means. I did notice and observe your copyediting yesterday and appreciate your efforts in that regard. When I made my comments on the FAN page, I was asking for clarification because I wasn't sure exactly what you were looking for. The same goes for IRC; the tone and nature of some your objections led me to believe that you might not have read the BFC, so when I stated such in IRC, it was to establish a frame of reference for me to operate under—not criticise your knowledge of the series. How you arrived at that conclusion is beyond me, but that's not what I intended. I'm still unsure about the BTS note, though, to be honest, as the reference on Kube-McDowell's website is not really about Spaar-it's part of a larger paragraph on Leia, and it happens to be the only real mention of Spaar on the whole page. Again, I in no way interpreted your objections as personal and only wanted to ask you about some of them so we could arrive at a solution that would please everyone. Cheers. Advice on Gar Stazi article
Hey Graestan. I noticed that you promote alot of articles to GA status, so I was wondering if you would mind taking a peak at the Stazi article. Thanks to tremendous help from AdmirableAckbar, Chack, and Topwara and Ralltiir (not to mention some helpful wiki hints from Havac), I have been able to realy beef up the article. Currently we are one vote short of getting it GA status. Could you take a peak and let me know your thoughts? Thanks! AdmiralNick22 03:18, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

A quote
Hi, I have a suggestion for quote of the day. "Love doesn't lead to the dark side. Passion can lead to rage and fear, and can be controlled, but passion is not the same thing as love. Controlling your passions while being in love, that's what they should teach you to beware, but love itself will save you, not condemn you. ―Jolee Bindo — Thanks, Obi-Maul 12 02:47, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
uh... why did you revert?
there is a bunch of story information completely unrelated to quantum armor in that article, are you going to edit it out now that you've reverted? —Unsigned comment by 74.67.56.14 (talk • contribs)
- No, that's the sort of thing that would fall under "History," if the article were featured. It relates how the armor fits into the story. If you'd like to summarize, go ahead, but don't just chop three paragraphs off. Graestan(Talk) 20:12, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
so are you going to add a history section to that article? as it is now, the article is mainly about the suncrusher and not the armor... thats why i deleted all the excess —Unsigned comment by 74.67.56.14 (talk • contribs)

Mailing list
Hey, . I've set up a private administrator mailing list to help coordinate the current administrators of the site, and I am attempting to contact each administrator to get them to subscribe. You can subscribe here. My point with setting up this mailing list to get all of the administrators of Wookieepedia operating on the same page, and in a more unified fashion. Regardless of any personal differences that may exist between some members, I still feel that it is important that we are all operating on the same level, with regards to knowledge of the site, and new/upcoming stuff that is going to happen—so, basically, this is an attempt to coordinate us all in an effort to help keep us on the same page with regards to new policies, new ideas, announcements, discussions, etc. In my opinion, we're all on the same team and this will only help us to be a more organized and cohesive working unit—even more so than we currently are. I've already spoken with a few admins via IRC, and they have liked my point of this whole thing, and have thus signed up—I would really appreciate it you could do likewise :) Any questions about this, you know where you can reach me. Cheers, Greyman

Possibly not spam?
I checked the link you blocked an anonymous user for putting in a random template: it looks like it's for a genuine fanfilm, and not nonsense from a spambot. Since it's not a finished fanfilm, it technically fails our notability criteria for fan projects, but it might be worth an article. Of course, a template linking to their site would only be used on that one article, so the template should stay deleted. Maybe you could unblock the user and explain things? —Silly Dan (talk) 12:31, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- Or maybe you could. Template creation is highly fishy, and I'm not going to be lenient with regards to it. Graestan(Talk) 12:32, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

May edition
You serve your master well and you will be rewarded. | A message from the project manager A belated update on Project Wormhead Project Wormhead!Sorry about the delay in getting this out. I was on vacation at the beginning of the month and forgot about it. First, let me thank a number of people for their efforts on the project this past month: Greyman, for his work on the Marvel expansions. Jaina Solo added information from Star Wars Union, and a couple other people have made smaller edits as well. That's very encouraging and I thank all of you for your help. For the moment, I have to say that Luke isn't my priority at the moment-I'm working pretty hard on finishing Wraith Squadron, but once that's done, I will be back to work . In other news, Project Wormhead has now surpassed the actual Luke Skywalker article in content and will soon pass up Palpatine. It'll probably take us another month to pass up Mr. Horn, though. Anyway, keep up the good work. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 18:07, 14 May 2008 (UTC) Please check out the Project Wormhead pages and contribute. |

Edit summaries
I don't think you understand how childish some inquisitors can be. I provided several references in the article when I later discovered they were part of an inquistorious-whatever improvement drive. I really have little patience for people who either can't read or feel pissed off about parts of canon not conforming to their pov. I have noticed this tendency from the user Toprawa and Ralltiir before. If he wants to be snidy without cause, I can be snidy with cause. VT-16 13:59, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Nebulon Ranger two conflicting stats
Sorry if this topic has already been covered; The Nebulon Ranger currently has all of its stats from the Power of the Jedi Sourcebook this information dosen't fit with the desorption of the vessel givin in the Tales of the Jedi. The information from the Essential Guide to Vehicles and vessels seams to atleast as far as weapones agree with the tales of jedi I don't know which book is more canon but if Power of the Jedi Sourcebook is indeed correct then the articals; Coruscant-class Heavy Courier and Corellia StarDrive will also need to fix. Thanks and hopefully you can figure this out (Thunderer 21:19, 1 June 2008 (UTC))

Wikia
Hi -- I want to ask about what you wrote on the pagetitle discussion. Some of what you wrote was about the pagetitle thing, but some of it wasn't... and I'd like to understand it all better. Obviously, Wikia staff have done things that have pissed you off. I'd like to fix that, and make it better.
Like you said, Wookieepedia does just fine, and more -- it's one of the best wikis on Wikia. That's why it's important to me to make sure that the site gets all the support it needs to make it even bigger and better. You feel like talking about it? -- Danny (talk) 22:09, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- By the way, I was trying to remember where I knew you from, and I just remembered... We did some stuff together on Oz Wiki about six months ago. But that was before I had the scary Wikia staff tag on my signature. -- Danny (talk) 22:26, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
June
You serve your master well and you will be rewarded. | A message from the project manager The latest on Project Wormhead! It's summer and that means, at least for me, that a lot of things need to happen over the next couple months if Luke is going to be a GA this year. I don't even entertain any notions of FA, because there's simply too many obscure/minor appearances and sources. I will be working heavily on the novels, and I know others are focusing on comics, games, and whatever those Missions things fall under. Thanks Xwing. For this month, I'm going to hammer out the rest of the Young Jedi Knights series first and then progress to the Bantam novels whenever I get to them. That means if you want to work on a Bantam novel, it probably should be done this month. ;-) I hope everyone enjoys their summer and finds a chance to participate. Hey, Graestan. Just to let you know that I am formally accepting the role of Inquisitor. Many thanks for the opportunity, and I will try to fulfil the role to the best of my abilities. - Cavalier One(Squadron channel) 10:21, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Cay
Yes, I found nothing for Cay's BTS. Maybe I suck at searching, but I couldn't find anything. I added some more stuff about how he liked working with machines too, and modified the Battle of Kemplex IX paragraph. Tope made an objection about that, so I actually removed some stuff, but I still feel it's pretty clear on what happened. Thanks. Chack Jadson (Talk) 12:58, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Canon it is
Strangely enough, it is canon. Then again, most things from Ewoks are strange. :P I cleaned up the article, categorized it, sourced it, and added some pics for your viewing pleasure. Maybe this temple is evidence that the Talortai visited Endor...I wouldn't be surprised. Cull Tremayne 01:17, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

If the character appears in all issues of the story arc, shouldn't it be listed in appearances instead of the separate issues, even if it is his first appearance? I was viewing Dob and Del Moomo as the precedent actually. If I'm wrong and these two should be corrected, then I apologize. Mauser 13:58, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Permission Asked
I got a question about japanese covers. While some images are presented as both of covers next to each other, forming a complete picture, the others are still split in two separate covers. Since high-res versions of these covers are available across the net, can I replace split-in-two images with complete ones like this one? Mauser 14:33, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Knowledge Bank
right|150px I was perusing the forums and the images for the Senate Hall, Consensus Track and Admin Noticeboard all seem to "fit" with their respective sections of the forum. The image for the Knowledge Bank never seemed all that fitting however. I scanned this image from the Official 20th Anniversary Mag and thought it would be perfectly fitting for the KB. But as that page is locked to editing, for obvious reasons, I thought I'd present this to you for consideration about changing it. Thanks. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 22:28, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Satal images
Hey,
I addressed your image concerns. The last one where you required a rescan,(File:SatalWithAmulet.jpg) I obtained, but I don't think the quality is all that great. If you feel that same way, please realize that's the best I can do, and if that is unacceptable, I'll just remove it. It is your call.--—Tommy9281 20px (Peace is a lie) 13:26, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

- I meant to suggest this in IRC, but you might also want to remove content/lock that userpage as well; it clearly violates the userpage policy on fanon. Didn't want to step on your toes though—it's your call. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 03:14, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

This is Admiral jolyon to Graestan. Can you hear me? I request a proposition to create a new template for the Sepan campaign. Respond on my userpage please. Over and out. (Admiral jolyon 15:06, 27 July 2008 (UTC))
Policy update
No consensus was reached. In droid articles, either "Personality and traits," "Characteristics," or "Personality and programming" is an acceptable section title, and no restriction has been placed on new titles for similar sections. (from Policy and consensus updates). I know the other choices didn't reach consensus, but is "Personality and programming" an acceptable choice even though nobody voted for it? —Xwing328(Talk) 17:04, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Graestan, could you do me a favor and give a good copyedit for Darth Maladi? And also, could you source the infobox and anything else that isn't sourced? Its about 80 percent done right now, and all I really need to do is write an P&T and P&A, and expand on a couple more sentences. Thanks. DC 18:59, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Why would I revert again? They read exactly the way I've been trying to edit them to, it's just since it was somebody more important than me that it seems the edit is sticking. Thanks for proving that it's not what you have to say, but who you are that's important here. Dangerdan97 19:03, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
- Inflammatory terms like "paranoia" and "flouting policy" are unnecessary, I have every confidence we can be civil here, regardless of personal opinions. All I ask is that you please try not to be as severe in unilaterally discouraging constructive, good-faith edits by erasing without explanation as was the case here. When you respond that way towards an editor, then allow an administrator (or other notable editor) to make the same edits later without conflict, its not hard to see how a double-standard may be construed, though I won't be so hyperbolic as I was before to suggest that is actually the case. Also, no one seems to have taken the discussion to the talk pages, even after my request to do so, so responsibility is evenly distributed on that point. "Your activities on the wiki determine your relationships with the community—perhaps taking a more measured approach would benefit you." Good thoughts, and worth everyone involved considering. Moving topics from one forum to another
Thanks for the tip Graestan - I was wondering how to do that! Doluk 05:26, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
It is Ready...
Hey, Graestan, Darth Maladi is completely done now, and all that remains before it is nommed for FA is a good copyedit. If you could do this for me, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if there is anything that you think should be changed or added, please put it in there. Cheers. DC 21:54, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Harrar/Rapuung changeover
Hi Graestan,
I was wondering if you recall our IRC conversation of some weeks ago, in which I raised the possibility of pushing Harrar's Featured Article showcasing considerably.
As I said, I don't believe the article's short length does justice to the character, especially the P&T, the Dark Journey, Enemy Lines and The Unifying Force sections, and don't feel it is informative enough to warrant a 3.5 day standing on the frontpage. As I took it, somewhat shakily, to FA status, I realise that it's my duty to change things.
Harrar's due to go up on the week of the 1st September, which poses a problem. I need to overhaul the main body of the article, but am going away this friday (22nd) and I imagine it would need to pass a review following a re-write. Therefore, could Vua Rapuung, another of my featured articles, be switched with Harrar? Rapuung's due up for February 26th 2009—switching his date with Harrar's would give me an adequate 5 months to work on Harrar.
I recognize this is a bit of a violation of policy, but my concerns are genuine and for the good of Wookieepedia! Please drop a line on my talk page if you want to discuss things further.

Sorry about the wording
I really was just trying to help. The user created duplicate articles and only changed the title, so I redirected it to the original and tried to explain how it's counter-productive to make a different article instead of just working on the original one. (Since he had already seen it and taken the text for the new one, he knew it was there already). :) VT-16 06:47, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Help
Hi, I need your help with a thing. We have some disagreements about the Jedi Exile page. I think that Atton, Bao-Dur and Brianna([2] officially confirms that Brinna travelled with the Exile) etc. etc. should be listed as apprentices. Could you help us settle this dispute. This is why I believe what i do:
- The game itself does not explicitly prove that she did, whether the Lost get trained or not in-game is totally up to the player;
- Kreia/Traya, when defeated, tells her they were the Lost Jedi.
- According to Redemption, Mira's training was made acknowledged in the Ultimate Visual Guide (see Jedi Exile and the "Lost Jedi" paragraph);
- Mical is said to be in the future Council a few times through the Campaign Guide (when it's said he would judge Atris, for example);
- The Campaign Guide writes: "the Jedi Exile seeks out Jedi survivors in an effort to reconstitute the Order, collecting informal Jedi pupils of her own, such as Mical and Visas Marr. [...] Afterwards, she ventures into unknown territory searching for Revan, leaving her disciples to resurrect the Jedi". Now wouldn't "such as" suggests that the Exile trained more than those two? And the whole "resurrecting the Jedi" thing with only two disciples? Come on.
- "In mission and quest solving, canon is assumed to be the fullest and best outcome possible of each mission/quest available as given in the briefing or scenario... Although the player can avoid some optional quests, Wookieepedia assumes that those heroes managed to complete all the available feats"(-canon). If the Exile would complete all the available quests or feats that would include training Atton, Brianna, Bao-dur etc. etc.
Do you agree?
