Templates and articles on fanfilms
You recently created template was deleted, because there's only one article it could possibly be used on (the article on the fanfilm which Xpress Extertainment is creating.) According to our policy on fan activity articles, Wookieepedia: Notability of fan projects, only one article on any given fanfilm is allowed. As well, any article on a fanfilm must contain sources and citations which back up its notability. A quick scan of the website shows that the creators have had interviews in the Canadian media, so you would want to mention that in order to back your article up. Without sources to back up claims of notability, it will probably be deleted (which would be a shame: I suspect this fanfilm is noteworthy.) Cheers, —Silly Dan (talk) 12:41, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- Also, information and art from a fanfilm should not go on the Dash Rendar article. —Silly Dan (talk) 12:43, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

- You wouldn't have been able to edit anything if you were still blocked.
- You can't add images from fan films, or any sort of fan art, to canonical articles, per policy.
- Don't create templates with your fansite's link. Create an article, or add the link to the list of fan sites.
- Wookieepedia:Notability of fan projects is a good policy to look over, also.
