hey, just thought I'd tell you, you don't need to sign your user name on an edit summary, only on a disscusion page, cheers, RC-1136 15:26, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Re:
Hey, Zadi. It wasn't anything personal against you at all, it's just against policy here to delete talk page messages, since talk pages are meant to be preserved at public records for the community. It doesn't really irk me if users want to remove the welcome msg, though I would prefer they don't, but you also removed the page post above mine here (by RC-1136), and that's why I reverted your removal. For future reference, if you're going to remove comments from your talk page, please move any old comments to a talk page archive, such as User talk:Zadi/Archive1. That way, you won't get reverted/warned/blocked by anyone :) I hope that clears up your question. Also, when posting on other's talk pages, please remember to sign with four tildes (~~~~), so that way people know which comments are yours, and when you posted them :) Thanks, Greyman@wikiajanitor(Talk) 23:52, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- No worries :) I'm glad to see that you added it back on. Cheers, Greyman@wikiajanitor(Talk) 00:30, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Jagged Fel, High Moff?
You posted on the Imperial Remnant page that Jagged Fel was appointed High Moff, but you did not source this statement. I recently read through Invincible and nowhere is it stated that he was given or assumed the rank of High Moff, so I assume you are referencing the Legacy comics. If so, please cite the comic, otherwise I will remove the reference. I will watch this page for replies; otherwise, you may reply on my own talk page.--SOCLcomm 15:15, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm..if you look at the High Moff page as well as the introductory paragraph, it cites Jagged, as of the end of the Second Galactic Civil War as being put in control of the Imperial Remnant as Chief of State in order to control the Moff Council. This was orchestrated by Luke, as can be seen in Luke's article quoted as "Luke would then be the one to place Jagged Fel in charge of the Moff Council to ensure their cooperation in ending the war." Cited as 107, which is from Invincible. After I checked the High Moff page, it has Jagged listed as such as well. You're welcome to take it out, I haven't read through the Legacy comics, so I'm not comfortable citing information from them. But I am fairly sure that Jagged Fel was given some sort of elevated position within the Imperial Remnant in Invincible. Zadi 17:36, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- He was given the position, but no title has actually been shown to be his. *sigh* I feel like this is so typical of what hampers Wookieepedia's progress. This is clearly someone else making an assumption into fact, which makes it fanon. Jagged is indeed put in charge of the Imperial Remnant in some role, but he is never given an official title of any sort, and assuming he is High Moff by whoever put it on the High Moff page is trying to make speculation (or their own private belief) into fact.--SOCLcomm 11:35, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, This is one of those annoying situations, much like the fact that he will probably be Fel I, that is basically said or implied strongly, but never actually stated as "He is the new High Moff" or "He is Fel I". I think it's sorta borderline fanon because it hasn't "officially been flat out stated", which is kind of silly, cause it's not like we haven't figured it out already. But I do know that he is the leader of the Imperial Remnant now, whatever that is, cause it references his surprise promotion orchestrated by Luke on multiple pages referring to Invincible. Re:User talk:Graestan
On pipelinking:
"Pipelinking," as we call it on Wookieepedia, always has the article name before the pipe (|) and the word that will appear afterwards. Graestan will then look something like Graestan and will then link to User:Graestan.
On signatures:
Th emost efficient way of creating a custom signature is to establish a line of code in the Signature box on Special:Preferences, checking the "Raw signature" box as well. Then, each time you sign a post with tildes, the words will appear. Here is what the coding for mine looks like:
<span style="color: #004500;">Graestan</span>(<span style="color: #004500;">Talk</span>)
The easiest way to tinker around with custom signatures is to look at the codes of others' signatures in the edit window and figure out how you want yours to look. A good color reference can be found here.
Any more questions, let me know. Graestan(Talk) 03:11, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
Username Template
Hello, I know you deleted your comment on the Forum: IP Talk but I thought I might as well reply anyway. The reason you saw your name was because I used a Template called Username, this simply displays your name, if somebody else looked at it it would display their name. BTW, if you every want to use it type this: USERNAME - Kingpin13 16:16, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
