Welcome, Brules!Hello, and welcome to Wookieepedia! I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source. Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! Edit summaries
Hey there, thanks for contributing to the list of planets! However, please be aware that this is a wiki—it isn't anyone's job to add content. As the article says, "this list is incomplete. You can help Wookieepedia by expanding it." Please keep this in mind when writing edit summaries. Cheers, and happy editing! Cwedin(talk) 06:54, February 16, 2016 (UTC)

Hi there. You are dangerously close to violating WP:3RR (and in fact, already have) on New Republic Starfleet. Reverting any edits that aren't blatant vandalism count toward the three reversions limit. Thanks. 1358 (Talk) 10:48, March 10, 2016 (UTC)

All articles must have them. You've made a number of articles recently without them; hence the warnings I can clearly see you received when you tried to save Baxel sector and Sedratis/Canon this morning/last night. Cade Calrayn 22:11, March 17, 2016 (UTC)

Giving users advice/tips
Hey Brules. I wanted to give you a quick tip when handling the improvement of pages that people create, such as your edit to Gorget armor. Sometimes it's very tempting to just leave a pithy comment in the edit summary, often times an exasperated one. There are times when I feel like doing that too. But it's important to remember that if you're going to leave an edit summary, it should be something that is useful for the original/previous editor, whose work you are improving. Expressing a bit of frustration can be useful for you, or whoever is doing the expressing, but does the original contributor learn anything? Not so much.
(Before going any further, I've left similar messages like this to other people after similar edit summaries. I don't want you to think I'm singling you out by any means, since you do a great job with your contributions.)
Since edit summaries have character limits, what I'd recommend doing is leaving them a message on their talk page letting them know that you've improved upon their previous contribution. Thank them for contributing—remember, even a messy edit is an edit made in good faith and to make the site better—and then show them your revision and their original revision (to compare), with a few quick notes on what to do next time. You can then encourage them to leave a message on your talk page if they have any questions.
It's a little more time-consuming, but it's worthwhile because that way the person actually knows what they can do to improve their next edits. There's a better chance of the person feeling that their contribution is valued and, in turn, sticking around, which is ultimately to the benefit of Wookieepedia. Constructive criticism with a bit of positive reinforcement can go a long way. Make sense? Let me know what you think! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 23:49, March 28, 2016 (UTC)

Ben Solo
Where is it officially confirmed that Kylo Ren's prior name as Ben Solo is canon? Books may mention it, however, if it's not officially confirmed, it's not canon, therefore not a valid source. —Unsigned comment by 791244 (talk • contribs)
Padmé Amidalas Apartment
If it was you who reverted my edit on Padmé Amidala's apartment, why did you do it? It's the part where it says Anakin sensed Obi-Wan's lingering presence. I can understand if people make corrections, but to just nitpick and revert edits just because they're not liked is just plain absurd and BS. Then people wonder why there's edit wars. 108.237.241.232 14:36, May 26, 2016 (UTC)

Vector images
Hello, Brules! I wanted to congratulate you for your work with the vector images. These are much needed additions, and you seem to have a real knack for it. ;-) I wondered if, perchance, you intended to redo the Star Tours logo. As an anon pointed out on the talk page, the one that we're currently using is badly formed. The one who made it wasn't too good, and I can say it without hesitation, because that was me! I did my best to produce a vector version of the Star Tours emblem, but that wasn't good enough. --LelalMekha (talk) 18:38, May 27, 2016 (UTC)
- Wonderful! I hope that you'll be able to find a good reference picture. Quality pics of the modern logo are easy to come by, but the original one... that's a different kettle of fish. --LelalMekha (talk) 18:53, May 27, 2016 (UTC)

Canon
But there exists absolute zero material of the so-called "Canon" when it comes to both the Seven Lightsaber Forms, and the Lightsaber Techniques. Plus there is no "Canon Tab" for the Lightsaber Techniques, wouldn't one simply argue that that means that it is in both the Canon AND "Canon"? —Unsigned comment by Ohvist (talk • contribs)

Boba Fett's Voice (Legends)
You keep reverting an edit I made on Boba Fett/Legends on the grounds that Temuera Morrison is Boba Fett's current voice actor. I'm not sure if you're already aware of this, but Morrison wasn't the original voice actor in the films. He only voiced Boba Fett in the DVD and Blu-Ray version of The Empire Strikes Back. In all other versions (including the original theatrical version), he was voiced by Jason Wingreen.
Because of this, Boba Fett's voice and dialogue in earlier Star Wars Legends books and material was described similar to that of Jason Wingreen.
The problem that I keep trying to fix (which you keep reverting) is that the sentence in the article describes Jason Wingreen's voice ("Speaking with a raspy, gravelly voice..."), but then says that the accent is the same as his father's (I.E. Temuera Morrison). This sentence blatantly contradicts itself. DarkKnight2149 00:43, June 21, 2016 (UTC)
UPDATE
Greetings, it's Darkknight2149. It appears that another user fixed the contradictory sentence by removing the part about the "raspy, gravelly voice", so that the sentence only mentions Temuera Morrison. Are you okay with this change? Personally, I'm fine with it. [1] DarkKnight2149 15:55, June 23, 2016 (UTC)

Question about Galactic Maps.
Hi.
I'm about to create an article relating to an atlas. But I need to know something before I get started: Is this the same atlas as the Galactic Atlas created by Tim McDough?
Just asking because the link suggests it's a different entry from the one by Tim McDough, but I need to make sure it is actually different. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 20:11, July 5, 2016 (UTC)
Image sourcing
Hello, Brules. For the Star Wars: Galactic Atlas images you're uploading, it's better to source them to whatever Internet site I presume you're taking them from, since you're obviously not scanning them from the unreleased book itself. Not only is this more accurate sourcing, but it tells us that a higher-resolution version will be available once the book is finally released. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 02:30, July 6, 2016 (UTC)
Bioniip Laboraties
According to the source listed in the article, the location is very much Legends, even if the game itself is overall canon.
- "Take a few steps into the Star Wars™ Legends with the map called the Bioniip Laboratories, where cybernetics and other bio-implants were manufactured."[2]
And that's coming from the official site. DarkKnight2149 22:49, July 31, 2016 (UTC)

Artiodac
I was wondering if you could remove the background from this image; https://www.dropbox.com/s/mniu153pz0ji6fm/Artiodac.png?dl=0 My best attempt can be found here, but as you can see there is still blue background between the fingers, part of the wrist has been erased, etc. The pixelated quality of the in-game model doesn't help either, but you have far more experience with this thing than I. Hello Brules, I am sorry if I am coming at a bad time. But I want say am sorry for the fact you had to clean up my mistakes on couple articles, even after learning much I still have lot to learn, so I wanted say am sorry about that, I will try much harder on edits.
But anyway, I wanted talk to you regarding certain Mandalores. Should we remove Darth Maul, Satine Kryze, and her father from the category? Given Maul's not a Mandalorian, the title would not apply to him, and given Mand'alor is a warrior title, it also wouldn't apply to the other two as well.
But I wanted go over with you so there won't be any issues. (Halo1091 (talk) 19:29, October 15, 2016 (UTC))

Hi, Brules. Would you be able to do a quick little image editing for me? Shouldn't take but a minute. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 16:30, October 27, 2016 (UTC)
- That's fine. I'm trying to crop this down to eliminate the whitespace around the edges of the logo so that it appears as large as possible within Template:SWMCite. I only have Paint and understand that saving changes through that does not allow for a lossless final product, so I try to hand this stuff off to someone who has a more advanced image-editing program. Only thing is that I'm thinking maybe this should be uploaded as a separate file, because I think the whitespace actually looks good in the infobox here. Super trilogy = Game Boy Releases?
Hi.
While trying to see if there was a similar game secrets guide entry for Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi on Amazon, I stumbled upon some packaging that indicated that Super Star Wars, Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, and Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi may have had Game Boy releases. Can you verify if this is true, and if so, think you can note it on their articles?
And speaking of Super Return of the Jedi, when you get a chance to do drastic modifications for the article for that game and several of its enemies, even creating some articles on the enemies that aren't already there regarding any information you do find relating to official guides or anything like that, think you can identify what a particular enemy is in that game (it's basically similar to the Imperial Senate Guard [ie, it's the blue Royal Guard enemy]).
