This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

Star Wars: Visions: Tsukumo (Japanese: 付喪) is an upcoming manga based on the television series Star Wars: Visions.^[2] It will be written by Eiichi Shimizu, illustrated by Tomohiro Shimoguchi, and published by Viz Media on July 14, 2026. Originally announced as Star Wars: Visions Original Manga in 2022,^[1] it received no official updates until New York Comic Con in 2025, where it was given an official title and new cover art.^[2]

Development

Star Wars: Visions Original Manga was announced during New York Comic Con on October 9, 2022,^[1] however it was not included on the StarWars.com recap of the panel.^[4] On June 15, 2025, both Shimizu and Shimoguchi's Twitter account confirmed that they have completed early preparation and finished the storyboard for the first chapter of the manga.^[5] The cover was revealed during New York Comic Con 2025.^[2]
