Star Wars Anime Visions Will Include What Became of the Jedi, a Rock Opera, and More by Daniel Robson on IGN (backup link archived on September 22, 2021) dates the events of "The Ninth Jedi," which establishes that lightsabers have been long lost to the galaxy, to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker. As lightsabers appear in The Rise of Skywalker, the events of which Star Wars: Timelines dates to 35 ABY, "The Ninth Jedi" must take place long after 35 ABY.
