The moons of Dutar were a group of moons white in color[4] located in the Dutar system within the Core Worlds[1] and the Interior.[2] They were situated in grid square L-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] and lay between the celestial bodies Bar'leth and Wukkar on the Corellian Run hyperspace route.[3]
In 231 BBY,[5] while speaking about the GoNet news network anchor Sine Spenning with the human Jedi Padawan Bell Zettifar,[4] the human[6] Valon Jom Lariin told Zettifar that he would not forget Spenning if he had seen him, describing his teeth as "crazy." Agreeing with Lariin, Kitrep Soh[4]—a human[6] who was the son of Galactic Republic Chancellor Lina Soh—then added that the anchor's teeth were whiter than the moons of Dutar.[4]

The moons of Dutar were mentioned in the 2021 novel The High Republic: The Rising Storm, written by Cavan Scott as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[4] Phase I.[7]
