Karoon was an astronomical object[3] in the Karoon system of the Shadola sector, which was part of both the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] It fell within grid square U-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] Karoon had further sanctions applied to it by Admiral Soonel of the Galactic Empire[3] in 3 ABY[4] following a new investigation into anti-Imperial activities. These sanctions further limited the access that terrorists and radicals had to fuel according to a HoloNet News broadcast by reporter Dorna Parros.[3]

Behind the scenes

Karoon was mentioned in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws.[3]
