Karoon Bogat

Karoon Bogat was an Aki-Aki from the planet Pasaana. During the First Order occupation of the planet Batuu in 34 ABY, there was a 500 credit bounty on Bogat for theft and evading arrest, which was claimed by a visitor to Black Spire Outpost on Batuu who used a thermal scanner to locate Bogat hiding in the outpost.

In 35 ABY, Bogat attended the Festival of the Ancestors on Pasaana and witnessed the death of the stormtrooper FN-2802 as he attempted to apprehend several Resistance agents. Shocked by the death, Bogat trembled while comforted by adult Aki-Aki.

Karoon Bogat witnessed the death of FN-2802 on Pasaana.

Karoon Bogat was an Aki-Aki from Pasaana,^[1] the desert homeworld of the Aki-Aki species.^[3] While a teenager^[4] in 34 ABY,^[5] Bogat had a 500 credit bounty on their head for theft and evading arrest. While hiding in a building in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu during the world's occupation by the First Order, Bogat was discovered by a visitor to the outpost using a thermal scanner. The visitor, whom the Bounty Hunters' Guild had assigned Bogat's bounty, then reported the Aki-Aki's location to the local Guildmaster's Hideout in order to claim the reward.^[1]

In 35 ABY,^[6] Bogat attended the Festival of the Ancestors in the Forbidden Valley on Pasaana. During the festivities, Bogat was part of a crowd that witnessed the First Order stormtrooper FN-2802 attempt to apprehend several Resistance agents. The trooper held the agents at blasterpoint, but as^[2] he^[7] reported having found them, he was shot through the eye and killed by the hermit Lando Calrissian, shocking Bogat and other observers. As the Resistance agents fled with Calrissian, Bogat trembled while one adult Aki-Aki hugged the teenager close, one held back a hand to keep Bogat away from the corpse, and a third lent in to check on the youngling.^[2]
