Ithor was a planet located in the galaxy's Mid Rim that was the homeworld of the Ithorian species, who spoke Ithorese. The expansive jungles of Ithor were considered to be sacred, and hunting there was highly illegal.
Description
Ithor was a planet[8] of the Ottega system[3] located in the New Territories portion of[2] the galaxy's Mid Rim Territories, situated in the Ottegan sector in grid square M-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The expansive jungles of Ithor were considered to be sacred, and hunting there was highly illegal. Their flora included the dense n'lor trees, the carnivorous johinuu trees, a variety of green and rust-hued bushes, and carpets of blue and pink edible fungi. Their fauna included the rare and deadly molsume, and the toscwon.[4]
History
The Ithorians, who worshipped Mother Jungle, long ago vowed to keep their homeworld pristine. They moved their herds into great floating cities in the skies of Ithor, and eventually out into space. The planet was the center of a triennial Herd Meet, a meeting that was attended by every Ithorian herd ship.[11]
At some point, the Galactic Republic Navy participated in a battle on the planet against a vicious band of pirates who were fighting against the Jedi Master Oorrl Morm. Following Morm's sacrifice, which delayed the attacks of the pirates, a Republic Navy warship arrived and took the criminals into custody.[12]
The Ithorian Jho left Ithor to settle on the planet Lothal, where he operated a cantina known as Old Jho's Pit Stop.[13] At some point, an Ithorian rebel sympathizer named Momaw Nadon was forced to reveal the secrets of Ithorian agricultural technology to the Galactic Empire to save his homeworld from destruction.[14]
In 5 ABY,[15] a New Republic CR90 corvette Starfall on a diplomatic mission to recruit Ithor to the nascent galactic government led by the Senator Tia'dor Emshwa was boarded by Eleodie Maracavanya's Super Star Destroyer Annihilator.[16]

(In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).
