Oorrl Morm was a male Ithorian Jedi Master of the Jedi Order, native to Ithor. Master Morm served on the Jedi planet Ossus, where he discovered a rare pontite crystal in the caverns on the planet. Wishing to create a lightsaber emphasizing the Jedi maxims of defense and protection, he crafted the Greelwood Saber out of heavily lacquered greel wood and using the pontite crystal.[1]
Morm would go on to participate in a battle on his homeworld against a vicious band of pirates, sacrificing his life to delay the pirates' attacks. Morm's sacrifice allowed a Republic Navy warship to arrive and take the pirates into custody. After his death, the Greelwood Saber was interred in the Chamber of Antiquities, a vault underneath the Great Jedi Library on Ossus.[1]
