Ithorese,[1] also known as Ithorian,[5] was the language spoken by the Ithorian species of the planet Ithor. It was a unique stereophonic language, and many other species found it beautiful.[3] Some Ithorians wore translator collars to convert the language into Galactic Basic Standard so that others could understand them.[6]

- Hrumgatha — "Lone mouths," a nickname given by the Ithorians to their single-mouthed Ottegan cousins[3]
- Kougathu — A technique consisting of shouting with both mouths simultaneously[3]
