The Irnaj sector was a sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] and Western Reaches.[2] In grid square K-17 of the Standard Galactic Grid, it contained the Cimarosa, Ebenmal, Keltos, Miztoc, and Onod systems as well as the Feather Nebula.[1] The Onod system contained the celestial body Onod I, which was the homeworld of the Onodone[4] forger[5] Gwellis Bagnoro.[4] The system was connected to the Kriselist system and Tiferep Major system by a hyperspace route.[3]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Irnaj sector was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[6] The sector originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was created by David R. Tulo, Jr. and first mentioned in Cracken's Rebel Operatives, a 1994 supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game published by West End Games.[7] In 2011, the sector was depicted on a map designed by Modi and published in "Essential Atlas Extra: Sectors of the Mid Rim,"[8] a feature of the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas that was authored by Daniel Wallace and Fry.[9]
