- "Happily, Del Rey and LFL agreed, and you'll soon see just how awesome [Modi's] work is. I can't say enough about how much he brought to the project, or how patient he was during a process that was at times unbelievably grueling."
- ―Jason Fry
Modi is one of the artists involved in The Essential Atlas. Modi was initially notable in Star Wars fandom for maps of the galaxy created and hosted at starwarsatlas.uw.hu. Originally, Modi was going to prepare draft maps for the Atlas that would be turned into finished products by professional artists; however, given the high quality of the maps prepared, Del Rey eventually decided to have him create the finished products.[2]
