The Feather Nebula was a nebula located in the Irnaj sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] and Western Reaches.[2] It was located in grid square K-17 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Feather Nebula was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[3] The nebula originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in "The Guns of Kelrodo-Ai," a short story written by Fry and published in issue 132 of Star Wars Insider magazine[4] on March 13, 2012.[5]
