Onodones were a sentient[5] elephantine[2] species distinguished by the trunk-like mouths, some long enough to be draped over and behind their shoulders and down their torsos. They were rarely seen and often missing from galactic events, obscuring details about this unusual species, their history, and their homeworld,[5] although they perhaps originated in the Unknown Regions.[7]
Gwellis Bagnoro was a mysterious Onodone who was very secretive about his past and an expert forger.[5] Bagnoro spent time at the castle of the pirate Maz Kanata, on the planet Takodana.[1]
