Geptish was a terrestrial planet located in the Mid Rim and Western Reaches. During the High Republic Era, Jedi Master Silandra Sho and her Padawan, Rooper Nitani, returned to Geptish's Jedi temple while not on missions on the Galactic Frontier. In 382 BBY, after Nitani performed a pincer movement on the planet Aubadas, she remembered the times she had practiced the maneuver on Geptish. Multiple locations on Geptish were favored meditation spots of Sho, which Nitani recalled while searching similar spots on the world Batuu around 379 BBY.
Description
Geptish was a terrestrial planet[4] in the Geptish system of the Yushan sector.[3] It was located in an intersecting portion of the Mid Rim[1] and Western Reaches.[2] Geptish was situated in grid square K-17 of the Standard Galactic Grid. Geptish was located on the Corellian Trade Spine[1] super-hyperroute,[5] which connected it to the Mugaar and Kriselist systems.[1]
History
Rooper Nitani (pictured) returned to Geptish while not on missions.
During the High Republic Era, Geptish housed a Jedi temple. The humans Jedi Master Silandra Sho and her Padawan, Rooper Nitani, returned to Geptish on the rare occasions when they were not on missions on the Galactic Frontier. In the temple's practice arena, Nitani often practiced a maneuver that involved her and Sho sneaking up on an individual and catching them in a pincer movement.[4]
In 382 BBY,[6] while on the planet Aubadas, Nitani performed the maneuver for the first time for real against the Katikoot Brithik and remembered the countless times she had done it on Geptish.[4] Around 379 BBY,[7] after Sho hid her shield on the world Batuu and tasked Nitani with finding it as part of her Jedi Trials, Nitani searched Sho's favorite meditation spots on Batuu and thought about how her Master had similar locations on Geptish.[8]
Locations
The Jedi Order had a Jedi temple with a practice arena on Geptish during the High Republic Era.[4] Silandra Sho enjoyed meditating in certain locations on Geptish.[8]
