"I know one of these men. Kravas. […] He was a squad commander on Four."
"He's obviously fallen a great deal since then. He was a Sentry Corporal here on One."
"No mystery there. He's lucky he wasn't killed years ago. One of the most unpleasant people I've ever met."

Morlana Four was an astronomical object in the Outer Rim Territories' Morlani system, situated along the Hydian Way. It was under the control of the Consolidated Holdings of Preox-Morlana Corporation until 5 BBY, when the Galactic Empire took over jurisdiction of the star system.

Description

Morlana Four, also referred to simply as Four, was a terrestrial astronomical object located in the Morlani system of the Free Trade sector,[1] a subsector of the Xappyh sector,[3] within an intersecting portion of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and New Territories.[2] Situated in grid square Q-3 of the Standard Galactic Grid, it lay along the Hydian Way[4] super-hyperroute[6] between the astronomical objects Listehol and Ruuria.[4]

History

"As of this morning, the Morlana system is under permanent Imperial authority."

Morlana Four was the homeworld of Kravas Drezzer.

During the time of the Galactic Empire, the Morlani system was governed by the Consolidated Holdings of Preox-Morlana Corporation.[5] Morlana Four was the homeworld of the human Kravas Drezzer, who worked as a squad commander for Preox-Morlana there before eventually becoming a Sentry Corporal on the planet Morlana One.[1]

After Drezzer and another sentry guard were killed in a fight on Morlana One in 5 BBY, Chief Inspector Hyne of the Pre-Mor Security Inspection team reviewed a report of the incident by Deputy Inspector Syril Karn and recognized the late sentry guard for his service on Morlana Four. Karn's investigation into the double murder[5] led to an incident that caught the Empire's attention, including the Free Trade sector's ISB Supervisor Blevin. Under Blevin's direction, jurisdiction over the Morlani system was rescinded to the Empire.[7]

Behind the scenes

Morlana Four was first mentioned as "Four" in "Kassa,"[5] the first episode in the first season of the live-action Disney+ series Star Wars: Andor, that aired on September 21, 2022.[8] Morlana Four's full name was first given in the 2024 reference book Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy.[1]
