Verlo Skiff was a human male who served the law enforcement arm of Preox-Morlana on Morlana One[2] as a sentry guard.[3] In 5 BBY, he and his partner Kravas Drezzer were drinking at a brothel in Morlana One's Leisure Zone when they spotted Cassian Andor, who was at the brothel in search of his sister.[2] The drunken pair[3] tailed Andor and attempted to rob him. However, Andor fought back, headbutting and accidentally killing Skiff before executing Drezzer despite the man begging for his life.[2]
Behind the scenes
Verlo Skiff first appeared in the first episode of the Tony Gilroy's live-action Disney+ series Star Wars: Andor, directed by Toby Haynes[2] and released on September 21, 2022.[4] The character was portrayed by Stephen Wight, with Mark Stanton-Kelly as his stunt double. His last name is not stated in the episode, but is mentioned in Aurebesh in Syril Karn's report, which Chief Inspector Hyne reads on a datapad.[2]
