Chortose was an astronomical object situated in the Rseik sector[3] of the Outer Rim Territories,[1] inhabited by the Chortose species. During the High Republic Era, Agricultural Hub 42 was a factory situated on Chortose. The factory was attacked by the Nihil marauders in the time leading up to the Republic Fair for its sprayer droids. The Jedi Knight Keeve Trennis was sent to defend Chortose, while the Jedi Wayseeker Orla Jareni followed a distress signal to Chortose on her own, assisting Trennis when she was overwhelmed by the Nihil.[3]
