The 7G sector was a sector of space located in the Unknown Regions. It contained the Ilum system.[1]
Behind the scenes
The 7G sector originated from the 2015 Star Wars Legends sourcebook Star Wars: Force and Destiny Core Rulebook, and has been repeated in some subsequent canon sources.[5] However, Jason Fry, author of the "Star Systems of the Galaxy" appendix of star systems, has stated it is excluded from the appendix due to it being an in-joke about Ilum's coordinates on the Standard Galactic Grid.[6]
