The siege of Ilum was, according to ancient sources and a nearly forgotten legend, a conflict during which Sith took control of the planet for a time.[2]

Behind the scenes

The siege of Ilum was first mentioned in canon in Nexus of Power, a 2016 sourcebook published by Fantasy Flight Games for the Star Wars: Force and Destiny roleplaying game.[2]

Notes and references

  1. Star Wars (2015) 9 establishes that the Hundred-Year Darkness resulted in the creation of the Sith. Since the Sith participated in the Siege of Ilum, and since it had to have existed after the formation of the Sith, it can be deduced that the Siege of Ilum took place after the Hundred-Year Darkness.
