Hello, Servatos, and welcome to Wookieepedia! We hope you like the place and choose to join us in building the best Star Wars encyclopedia there is. Here are some things you should know:

Wookieepedia is the Star Wars encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but we are not a general Star Wars forum nor an all-inclusive trivia site.
In-universe articles are written in past tense and from a neutral point of view. Our Manual of Style and Layout Guide form the basis for writing on Wookieepedia.
All additions to Wookieepedia must be sourced and attributed to a reliable, official source. Fan fiction is welcome on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.
As a registered Wookieepedia user, you are entitled to a user page and a unique signature. Eventually you will also gain the right to vote on community matters.
Remember to be nice to your fellow Wookieepedians. Avoid making personal attacks and engaging in edit wars. Using multiple accounts is not allowed.
Talk pages and forums are part of the public record and comments on them, including your own user talk page, should be left intact. Remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~

New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our welcome page has everything you need to get started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold!

Pronouns

Hey there! Wookieepedia recently held a Consensus Track where the community agreed to list pronouns in the infobox. You can read about that here. Also a good supplemental read is the Senate Hall that's linked in the CT, Making use of pronouns. But long story short, Pronouns can differ from Gender and the infobox listing pronouns is an intended choice. Please be mindful and don't remove them. Thank you. Switching to source editor

Hey, I believe it would be in your best interests if you switched from the visual editor to the source editor. In general it will make editing easier for you, and also allows you to ensure that you're making pages upto the correct standard and formatting it properly.

To switch to the source editor, all you need to do is go to Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing, scroll down to the editor section and in the drop box under "Preferred editor" select the source editor option, and then hit save.

Creating pages

Hey there, please when creating pages ensure that you follow the layout guide, such as adding a source/appearance section, categories etc. Pages being created in this kind of state are really just not great, or upto the standard. Hey there! Regarding your recent edit on Tosan's article, please keep in mind that Wookieepedia articles don't assume a character's gender based on their appearance. Duplicate references

Hey there! When adding references to an article, please be sure to check whether or not the reference is already on the page so there aren't duplicate references. Wayseeker date

While it's right the book is set c. 160 BBY, simply stating in the edit summary and changing the date on the book page wasn't enough.
