Discuss before putting verification tag
You should put something on the discussion page about WHY you consider an article unverified. As for the Latin alphabet page, look at the See Also section for sources. 20px Expansionary Fleet Commander Mitth'raw'nuruodo Discuss 12:45, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- I consider an article unverified because it doesn't cite any sources. Other Wookieepedia articles are not legitimate sources. --Imp 12:47, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Revert
Hey there, Imp. Just wondering as to the logic in the revert you did on the C-3PO page. Was it because the way it was written it looked stupid (which I agree with) or simply because the Latin alphabet page is up for VfD right now or for some other reason? Just wanted to know before I go piping any more links. In other cases where that same information was added (check out EFCM's recent contributions) I removed the word "Latin" from displaying in IU places since that part at least is definitely conjecture. But the rest of the information... well, if we do keep the article, it might as well not be an orphan. Thoughts? Wildyoda 14:44, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I reverted it because the article is up for VFD, but also because the "Description" section was somewhat awkwardly positioned at the top of the article. --Imp 14:47, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Compulsive edit
LOL* That cracked me up. If it is preferable, I'll make sure to include all the fields in the image information template, even the unused ones, from now on. I mean, I don't want to be the cause of a nervous tik or anything. ;) - JMAS 21:32, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- Don't worry about it, I enjoy fixing little things like that. ;) --
21:35, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- Should I just not bother putting the ((Imr)) tag on the high def images I'm uploading since you seem to be on top of it and deleted the old ones before I can even update the infobox? ;) - JMAS 22:21, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
If you look at my recent upload activity, you'll notice that most of the EGVV schematic images I've uploaded have previous lesser quality dupes still taking up space. Basically, most of the ones found on the Category:Technical drawing images page have previous versions that could be wiped. Just giving ya a heads up so ya don't fall behind. ;) - JMAS 23:10, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

A favor.
Could you tell Thefourdotelipsis to stop acting the way he was on Talk:Palpatine? More importantly, could you do something about his Inquisitor status? Having someone like him in that group is very bad. He's already tagged at least a dozen articles to be removed from FA status, yet he hasn't done a single damn thing to improve them (and he says that I don't contribute; I do have the second most amount of edits on this site). The fact that he doesn't do anything to fulfill his role of Inquisitor is enough to remove him from that group. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 22:32, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- I have already talked to Thefourdotelipsis on IRC. I have no power over the Inquisitorius, so no, I can't remove him from that group. Keep in mind that the Inquisitorius is primarily an article review project, not an article improvement project. --

- But do you agree that they should be allowed to remove articles from FA status? —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 22:59, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

- There's also "Robot Chicken: Star Wars was created and executive produced by Green and Senreich under their own Stoopid Monkey Productions, in conjunction with Alex Bulkley and Corey Campodonico's ShadowMachine Films." - I'm not sure what your "status" is as far as activity is concerned, but Crix Madine is going nowhere on the WookieeProject. Lando (again)
Hey Imp. I went over Lando again and tried to do some more sourcing of the article. One of the bigger issues is Dark Empire- never read it, but I'll do what I can with it. I marked pretty much everything in the article that isn't sourced with {{fact}} tags. Also, there's a lot of stuff in the BTS that needs fixed. There are two expansion tags- New Rebellion and Black Fleet Crisis, but I'll get to doing those eventually. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 18:38, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Translate of Wookieepedia to Czech
Hi! I have just one question: I would like to start with translating Wookieepedia to other language (Czech) - but I don't know how, if possible... I signed up today, but I'm browsing Wookieepedia about half of year... I already have some experience with translating from English to Czech and I like Star Wars a lot, so I wanted to start with it - I know, that it will take long time... Please answer me - I know ths question looks stupid, but it's not fun ;-) ... If you can answer me on my email fhugo@seznam.cz it'll be just better...
I don't know whom other I can turn on with this "request"...
(Sorry for any spelling and grammar problems - I am better English-to-Czech translater than Czech-To-English writer ;-P)

Mandalorian Wars Article
I've changed the scouting party line again. I have no doubt that he will change it back, however let it be known that I have all the proof here, and he doesn't. I have the actual line from Bao Dur(not Canderous), info from KOTOR, the Chronicle, and the New Essential Chron which says Revan killed Mandalore at Malachor. So if he does change it back, I would hope that this time you would put a stop to it. Because frankly I have all info on the matter and he has shown me nothing, and that's because he has nothing. So please do what you can to put and end to it.Darth Nuke 18:52, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Italics in article titles
Just curious about how you make the title of the article in italics. Such as when using a class of starship, like Vanguard-class gunship - JMAS 02:14, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

We Built This City on Roche and Roll.
OK, basically in Sacrifice, the Mandos find a large Mandalorian Iron deposit. The Verpine learn of this, and shortly after Prime Minister Gejjen is shot, a Verpine representative from Roche, Sass Sikili, contacts Mandalore Fett, and expresses interest in the Iron. Fett aludes to the fact that he has worked for Sikili before, successfully taking in a bounty in years prior.
Sikili claims that he doesn't trust Fett and his Mandalorians, and cites that in the past, when the Mandalorians have been endowed with Mandalorian Iron or beskar as it's called, Mando territory has expanded. Fett claims that he has no interest in expansion, but Sikili, using complex Verpine character study, cannot trust him. Fett then offers to sign a treaty with Sikili, where the Verpine will get Mando Iron, while Mandalore will recieve Verpine tech. This especially important to Roche, since Murkhana and Kem Stor Ai were on the brink of entering into war with one another, using the Confederation-Galactic Alliance War as an excuse and a backdrop.
The Murkhana...ese are unimpressed by this, opening up disputes about copyright infringements (!). Hebanh Del Dalhe, from the Murkhanan Department of Trade and Industry, publicly accosts Roche for allying with Mandalore. Nav Ekhat, Murkhana's senator, asks for aid from the Solo/Niathal Super Team, but recieves none. Roche, embiggened by the Mando support, starts putting the kibosh on Murkhana, threatening military action if they do not halt production of tech that supposedly breaches Roche patents. Niathal sends fighters to patrol Roche, hoping to prevent warfare in that system.
When Murkhana fails to comply, Sikili requests that Fett send the new Bes'uliik fighters to pound Murkhanan factories to dust. Fett apparently sends Goran Beviin to Roche in preparation for an attack on Murkhana, but any action is delayed by the major happenings in the Hapan system. The shit that goes down there, I'm sure you're aware of. Anyway, after that's all cooled down a bit, the Mandos prepare to bomb Murkhana. And...then the book ends. I'm sure this issue will go untouched until Revelation. Thefourdotelipsis 09:15, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- Excellent. Serious plus karma. Thanks alot. :) --Imperialles 13:15, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Question
May I ask why you removed that image of Mandalore the Ultimate from the article? - JMAS 13:26, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Because I'd like to keep the current amount of images in the article, especially since it's going to be featured on the main page. I just feel that images should support the text, and that we shouldn't include images just for the sake of including them (as is the case when adding images to "Appearances" sections, etcetera). --Imperialles 13:36, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Since it is a good full-body shot of him, may I suggest that image be set in place of the picture of Malachor V, which, while it is related to the character, does not depict the subject of the article in any way. - JMAS 13:50, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

- If on the other hand your irrational hatred of them is such that you can't possibly bear to see them on any article, then start a community-wide discussion to remove them from ALL articles. I'm only making articles consistent here. It makes no sense to leave them off some articles and put them on others. QuentinGeorge 07:37, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- As for "no evidence of IU wide-spread use"? Please. The fact it is used for the galaxy-wide news pretty much outright says it is. Cereans
The New Essential Guide to Aliens is written from the perspective of after the NJO period; p 29: "Following the Clon Wars, the Cereans readopted their isolationist stance, and reports from the world are scant to nonexistent." Note the use of present tense. Also, the RPG Core Rulebook says that the Cereans disliked both the (Old) Republic and Empire, allowing for few offworlder cities. The Cerean delegate at the Gaavrisom-Pellaeon treaty is pictured in the old Essential Chronology. BTW, the Death Star novel indicates at least some Cereans had technical skills due to which they were permitted to serve in the Imperial Military, including a Cerean neurosurgeon on the DS1. regards;) JustinGann 00:35, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

deleted page: Mos Eisley Football League
Hi, yesterday my addition to Wookieepedia, the Mos Eisley Football League was deleted. Maybe I didn't categorize it correctly. I read through your rules and it seemed like fan pages that have enough content are acceptable. All the images and logos we have created ourselves. I think it's something unique and different and fun to keep track of each week. We actually have people in California, New York, Michigan, Ohio, Tennesse and London, England that keep close tabs on the happenings in the MEFL. We're not in this for money or anything - we're just huge Star Wars fans and tried to combine that with another great product, the NFL.
Let me know what I can do to add the article the correct way to Wookieepedia.
Thanks!

Wroona
Hmmm, I think that was a mistake. Wroona is supposed to be on the "edge" of the Inner Rim, and I suppose at one point I thought that meant the Colonies/Inner Rim edge (where Bestine is), but since that time Moorja has been canonically placed. The Smuggler Blues story seems to indicate Wroona is near the Trade Spine not too far coreward of Moorja, so Wroona is more likely near the Inner Rim/Expansion Region border. [1] This map shows my current belief as to where Wroona is most likely to be. So it isn't in the same sector as Bestine, but rather the same quadrant of space and the same region.JustinGann 14:45, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Skywalker Faimly Tree
Why did you remove the adoption of Malinza Thanas by the Skywalkers? it is not Fannon. The Broox 22:48, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
- Because she wasn't adopted. If you can provide a source that says she was, please do so. --Imperialles 23:54, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Templates
Just out of interest, what's prompted the change to make the templates more uniform? Vetinari(Appointment) 19:18, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- If you're referring to the changes to {{conjecture}}, {{cut}} and the like: the previous editions of these templates were taking up a lot of article real estate, and considering the fact that these are permanent templates, I figured I should make them less intrusive. So I changed their size, their pictures, and their color to be more uniform. --Imperialles 19:22, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
My Zekka Thyne featured page nomination
Hey, my name's Colin. I've been working very hard on the Zekka Thyne page for a featured article nomination, and as of right now, I've added all the pics and info I can get my hands on, read and reported on all the material the character is featured in, and addressed almost every concern that's been voiced.
The only thing that hasn't been addressed is that the article is lacking specific information about the Star Wars Galaxies missions Zekka assigns. Unfortunately, I can't find that information anywhere online, and since I haven't had a SWG account in years, I can't log on and find it myself. I'm hoping somebody will add that eventually, but in the grand scheme of things, I think it's pretty minor information, and would argue it shouldn't hold up its nomination.
I've been told the nomination has potential but doesn't have the votes, and that I should ask some people to review it for me. (I haven't actively asked people yet; I've never really gone through this process before.) I was hoping maybe you'd take a look at it and see if it's worthy of a vote from you? Or give me any further suggestions? I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks!

- The article looks good. My only objection is the lack of SWG information. --Imperialles 15:25, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Search icons
At least one deleted search icon is still in the rotation: This one. There may be others. I've been getting red X's all day. Enochf 02:11, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- I removed that one. Template:Searchicons|The rest seem to be in order, though. --Imperialles 03:43, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

FAs
Hi. Could you check if your image objections to Slith and the wooden-hulled battleship still apply? The wooden-hulled battleship should be fine now. With the Slith image, a new one has been scanned but the original is actually of low quality, limiting what can be done. --Eyrezer 04:20, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Image categorization
Hey Imp, I'm gonna go through the Gallery of stormtrooper images and start categorizing them with the new categories. But is there a way to make the new category slots in the information template hidden? Right now, they just leave an blank spot. - JMAS 15:06, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks, I appreciate it. Sikon is working on making the category fields hidden as we speak. :) --Imperialles 15:07, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- I also finished the Gallery of bounty hunters, all except for File:Zam.jpg which is locked so I couldn't add the category. I'm going to go ahead and put the gallery up for TC since it is no longer needed. - JMAS 19:03, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- No need for a TC, galleries are already banned and may be deleted on sight. --Imperialles 19:03, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks so much!
I'm on it. And also, I have an old Falcon-shaped electronic memory game called Sounds of the Force. I've noticed that it's not on here, could I make an article? I can't seem to find any professional photos of it online, could I try to take some myself and make them look as good as possible? Is this even article-worthy? —Unsigned comment by Noahferfer (talk • contribs)

Old image revision
I don't want to even tempt the 3RR. Would you be so kind as to revert File:Jax Pavan.jpg to the higher res full cover art version from the artist website, and then delete the old revisions. The original uploader keeps reverting. - JMAS 03:25, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
