Suggestion
Hey, Noah. Welcome to Wookieepedia! After seeing your question on Greyman's talk page, I thought I'd provide you with some contribution suggestions. While it's great that you're taking the time to create all these real-world articles (an area in which we traditionally have been lacking), it's probably more important that you write about something you're interested in. There's literally thousands of articles to improve in some way or another, and it's up to you how you wish to go about this task. A lot of the article improvement on this site is centered around the writing of Good and Featured articles—maybe you'd like to try that out. If you need any help, feel free to leave me a message. :) --Imperialles 20:49, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- If it's an official product, sure, go ahead. Though keep in mind that most merchandise articles are discouraged on this site, as there is a separate wiki for Star Wars merchandise. --Imperialles 13:23, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
- Heh, Imp beat me to the punchline, Noah :P What he wrote is exactly what I was going to suggest to you, actually. So, likewise, if you need help, feel free to hunt either of us down on our talk pages or even jump onto IRC and ask your question there—Imp and myself are normally available to chat with there :) Cheers, Greyman(Paratus) 13:39, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Re:edit count
Hey Noah. The problem with the edit count, I believe, stems from a bug in software upgrades which are occurring throughout Wikia. It seems to be affecting many many users on many different Wikia (just from what I've come across), and it also affected the running edit count I keep on my user page—I had to edit the bug out. Rest assured, though, that your real edit count is fine and normal, it's just the links we use for userboxes and whatnot that are getting messed with by the bug. It should be fixed sometime soon, hopefully. Also, please remember to sign your name when posting on talk pages/forums/etc. by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comment/post. Cheers, Greyman(Paratus) 14:16, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Signatures
RE: Gonk's talk page: Check your preferences. If "Raw signatures" is ticked, then un-tick it. Otherwise, I don't know. Graestan(Talk) 00:01, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
Stub template
Do not add the stub template to every short article you encounter. Short articles that contain all the information available on a topic are not stubs. Gonk (Gonk!) 21:30, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
Personal gallery
I just thought I'd let you know that some time ago, a policy was enacted that no longer allows personal image galleries on user pages. Just thought I'd let you know so you can remove the one on yours before an admin does it. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 20:47, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- You can make that list into text links to the images if you want. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 14:07, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- You can now just copy the same format when you add new images to the list. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 16:25, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- As to the edit confict, that's because I added the links to the ones you had up there. My apologies for the conflict. But in the future, if you find an edit conflict, it doesn't have to mean your information is lost. On the edit conflict page, the top edit window is the edit made by the conflicting editor. The edit you are trying to make is in the secondary edit window below. All you have to do is take your information from the lower edit window, copy and paste it into the upper window, then save it in the upper window. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 16:44, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Removing talk messages
Please don't remove previous posts on your talk page. They should be kept as part of the public record. If you would like for them to go away, feel free to archive them onto another page. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir 17:35, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
Re: FAing advice
Noob advice eh? Okay: don't take any criticism personally and don't get discouraged. Also, being on the wiki's IRC channel helps. The rest should be easily inferred by watching interactions on the FAN page. Gonk (Gonk!) 15:07, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Noahferfer. When it comes to writing articles, you might even like to start with a Good Article nomination. Pick a topic that is likely to come to around five or six hundred words, and run it through there. Often people try and start with a topic that is too big, and consequently, significantly more difficult or slower to get through. The GAN page is working pretty well at the moment. As for reviewing articles, just make sure you keep your objections to the various grounds set out at the top of the page. The main one is generally making the writing clearer. Also feel free to make actual changes to the article if it is a straightforward change or clarification. These minor things don't necessarily need to be placed on the FAN page. Enjoy --Eyrezer 21:42, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Any thought yet on an article to write up? --Eyrezer 02:49, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
Re:Image cleanup
Hey, Noah. I would say image cleanup is a worthy use of your time, but only if you enjoy it. Different people have different strengths and interests on the site, and if yours are in image cleanup, then it's certainly a good way to contribute. But, if you want to, I'd suggest you try different things and see what you enjoy most - reviewing articles, creating articles, writing FAs/GAs, fixing errors, etc. Hope that's of at least a bit of help. :) -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 17:25, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Abbreviated dates
Are those abbreviated date redirects of any actual use? I can't imagine someone writing or searching for Sep 15, for example. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 17:41, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- Nah, it's fine. They certainly don't do any harm. I suppose, if Wikipedia do it, we may as well. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 17:47, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- Looks good. Now the month pages have actual uses. :-) Keep up the good work. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 16:17, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
Re: Months
Excellent work. They look great. Much more detailed and useful as resources than before. Toprawa and Ralltiir 01:46, November 9, 2009 (UTC)
