Only that the Weequay pirate Hondo Ohnaka left there after being disgusted by the god Quay and being sold into a life of servitude by his parents. I leave it up to you to decide whether that's notable info or not. CC7567 (talk) 07:57, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

Unknown Region races category

Hello! I thought that a category specific to the Unknown Region races was needed since there was category for Unknown Region planets, stars, etc., but I've noticed that you have reverted all my changes. Is there a reason why there is not a need for a category for Unknown Region races? Thanks. Kaitco 06:26, May 5, 2010 (UTC)

question regarding Voss species article

Hello. I've been doing work on the Voss (species) article, and I was intending to nominated it for a GA, but am not sure it would qualify as we have no information on what the Voss look like at this time. I'd be more than willing to maintain this article as more information is released--just as I plan to with the Gormak article--but my concern is that nominating a species article lacking a "Biology and appearance" section would be frowned upon. Thoughts? —fodigg 20px (talk) | 15:44, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

Notability Policy

I got to thinking some time after I started that CT. Something like Darth Vader's lightsaber might not be considered notable under most policies. However, I noticed that Luke, Vader, Maul, and Ventress all have specific pages dedicated to them in The New Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology. I don't know if your rough draft has addressed these or any similar issues, but if not, you might want to do so before presenting it. SinisterSamurai 22:10, May 11, 2010 (UTC)

What the heck, man?!?

Did you just delete my hard works imput on the lightsaber page?!? You know how long it took me to research and find out all that info? A whole week, that's how long! So why did you just delete all that?

TOR cleanup

Hey, I noticed you're doing a clean up for The Old Republic-page, which looks good so far. However, although I understand your motivations, d'you think you could incorporate the images from the former classes gallery into the new classes section in a manner that looks good. For, really, they are quite telling about what each class is about. The lightsaber-specialised force-user having drawn lightsabers in contrast to the Force-specialised ones. The agent being a shadowy figure, the trooper being heavily armed etc. Just something to keep in mind while editing. Swedish guy 20:20, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

  • I could try. For now, my focus is to eliminate the galleries and replace them with actual text. --Imperialles 20:22, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

      • That's when I accessed the page. It's customary to note this when citing web sources (on Wikipedia, at least). We should probably implement a full-scale Cite web template, though, where things like publication date can be noted. --Imperialles 19:27, May 14, 2010 (UTC)

IRC

I apologize for our discussion earlier on IRC. I do realize that we both want what's best for the site, but simply have differing ideas as to going about that. Please accept my apology in the spirit it is given. A post left to me by SavageBob really made me think about things. I will try in the future to make sure I am reading and remembering all of the site's policies correctly, but I will also ask of you to consider some of the ethics in your recent actions. No one was trying to harass you. It's time for us all to move away from this divisive discourse and find ways to get things improved in a constructive manner. Graestan(Talk) 16:52, May 18, 2010 (UTC)

  • Of course. I realize I may come off as obstinate, but I am merely acting out of my perception of what is best for the site in the long run, and I have never consciously intended to suppress anyone's ability to speak their mind. The tone of our recent conversations colored my responses to you, and for that I am sorry. Shake hands and all that. I hope we can continue to work together in improving the site. --Imperialles 16:58, May 18, 2010 (UTC)

Procedure CT

Hey, Imp. Just letting you know that we've tweaked the wording of the CT on procedure so that a reply is not required. The new wording features this clause removed from option one: "All users who have cast votes prior to the desired change to be included are directly contacted and have expressed either their approval or rejection of said change by commenting under their vote, or the alteration to the vote is rendered invalid." Thanks. Fiolli {Alpheridies University ComNet} 19:53, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

TSLRCM and TSLRP

Hello. Lord of Hunger again.

I see that the final vote has been tallied and TSLRCM's page has been deleted (or moved to the Fan Wiki). I am not here to dispute that, in fact I am fine with it considering that you made the official rules clear and TSLRCM was not in compliance.

However, I did notice that TSLRP's page was not deleted. I believe you said that you for deleting that page as well since it did not comply with the rules either. However, this has not occurred I understand the votes were tied, but that does not change the fact that the result remains unfair. The TSLRP has not a single attempt to provide official recognition, not even fan recognition, whereas the TSLRCM page had many sources. Furthermore, TSLRCM is a published mod and has active support and improvement, whereas TSLRP's site (the only source of information for that page) is out of commission. I do not wish to tell you how to run this site since you are an administrator, but there are many people claiming bias.

Thank you for your time, Lord of Hunger 19:59, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Project colon

I was trying to contribute to Forum:SH:Project Colon and of course managed to make a pest of myself. I created a number (and not a small number) of redirects to certain issues, thinking that I could have them redirected for now and then just move them over. Except now I'm getting errors when trying to move pages over an existing page. So...I think it may need a rollback. Sorry. :( If you need a list of all the redirects I created I can compile that for you. —fodigg 20px (talk) | 14:54, May 25, 2010 (UTC)

  • Or should I just tag all of those redirect pages for speedy deletion? There are 14 of them. —fodigg 20px (talk) | 14:57, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
  • Now it's letting me move them over the redirects. I am..wha..I can't even... —fodigg 20px (talk) | 14:59, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
  • Oh wait, was I trying to move a redirect page to a redirect page? Wow. Awesome. —fodigg 20px (talk) | 15:01, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
  • New question, and I'm asking first this time. After making all the article moves (but no cat moves yet), is there a way to request a bot to edit the text of the actual articles to change every link from "Star Wars Legacy" to "Star Wars: Legacy"? Or should I be doing that manually? —fodigg 20px (talk) | 17:41, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
    • Changing the links can be handled perfectly well by a bot. Try asking here. --Imperialles 17:44, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
      • Okay, request made. Is there a "best practices" way to go about moving categories? There's no "move" button and I know each article would have to be re-linked, which should probably be a bot. I'm just not sure how to go about doing it. —fodigg 20px (talk) | 17:55, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
        • Yeah, categories can't be moved. You have to manually create new ones, then re-tag all the articles in them, and finally tag the old categories for deletion. --Imperialles 17:58, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
          • So, just to double check, I should go ahead and make the new categories, then request a bot make the changes, then request that the old cats should be deleted? —fodigg 20px (talk) | 18:02, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
            • Well, if you're not intending to fix the category links in the individual articles yourself, you can probably hold off on creating the category. Just give the bot operator clear instructions. --Imperialles 18:04, May 25, 2010 (UTC)

Removal of my Wookiepedia page

Imperialles, just wanted to drop you a line and ask why you've deleted my page? I'm a webmaster of over a decade, with an article published in The Insider (Issue 90) and another in the next issue, and reports on the official site as well as being interviewed on The Forcecast. Just wondered why my page had been removed, doesn't make any sense. --JanLomona 12:22, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

  • Your article was deleted per the site policy Wookieepedia:Notability of fan projects, specifically the bit that says "If a person is recognized purely for creating and/or maintaining a Star Wars website or other fan project, he or she is not considered notable enough to warrant an article." Your article had zero mention of any official involvement, hence its deletion. --Imperialles 12:31, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

Why did you want to delete my article?

That bold text does not seem like nonsense to me. I intended it as a very clear notice that the page was intended as good faith and a metaphor to the Star Wars universe. I wanted to make sure that no administrator would block me for creating the page because they thought it was a personal attack. You may improve it, but please don't delete it or assume bad faith.99.27.224.120 22:42, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

  • The book doesn't mention the Mussubir system at all, and it certainly doesn't mention a star called Mussubir (or Mussibir, for that matter). All that is mentioned is the planet itself. --Imperialles 10:34, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
    • Oh, well that puts a kink in my editing :( I'll hold off on that one till I can find some more info. TK-299 (Click Here) Imperial Emblem 10:52, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
      • Here's the only instance of the word "Mussubir" in the novel:
Source: Children of the Jedi
The admiral folded his squamous hands, a ghostly image in the subspace holo, like a statue wrought of mist in the receiver cubicle. "This is curious enough, but it coincides almost exactly with the "vacations" taken by the uncommitted ex-governors of Veron and Mussubir Three, and with representatives of the Seinar Corporation and a high-up member of the Mekuun family. Drost Elegin—the head of House Elegin—evidently took his family but left them on Eriadu."

TK-299 (Click Here) Imperial Emblem 11:23, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
    • Nah, it's a fairly safe assumption to make. I think the Atlas authors mentioned on a forum somewhere something along the lines that the Appendix and Online Companion named a lot of systems for their most well-known planet, making the connection between Mussubir Three and the Mussubir system pretty safe to draw. --Imperialles 11:29, June 7, 2010 (UTC)

Re:Restriction

  • It's not so much a restriction as a warning that attempting to game the system and nominating that article for deletion without a legitimate reason to do so falls under WP:POINT. The same thing applies to any article that was kept via TC—you don't renominate it for deletion without either a lot of time passing, or new and compelling arguments for deletion. I was just actually placing the policy reminder/warning there so people aren't tempted to re-nominate it after 3 discussions. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 17:50, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

U.R. 100 Terrors Article

Hey. I have a question about creating an article, which I posted on Senate Hall. I haven't received a response, so I decided to ask someone specific.

I was reading about the Unknown Regions, and I saw several mentions of the "100 Terrors of the Unknown Regions". I also saw that there is no Wookieepedia page on this topic. I just wanted to know if I should create a article on this, including a brief history of the term, and a list of some of the known Terrors or inferred Terrors. If not a separate article, maybe I could make a new section on the Unknown Regions page.

I put some examples of Terrors on the SH page, here's the link: http://starwars.wikia.com/index.php?title=Forum:SH:Article_on_100_Terrors%3F&t=20100617184753 Thanks for any help you can give. Unsigned comment by Darth Hydren (talk • contribs)

forum deletion

the admins on this site have repeatedly deleted my forum topic. i want to know why, because i really want this question answered. as far as i can tell, i have no violated any rules and it is perfectly ON TOPIC. a link to it is here: Forum:KB:Most_dangerous_planet 24.63.181.250 02:07, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

  • Your question is completely asinine. There is no metric by which to judge which is the "most dangerous" planet, so there is no way to answer the question in a proper and verifiable manner (as per rule 8 of the Knowledge Bank) or without resorting to original research (rule 12). Hence your thread's deletion. --Imperialles 02:34, August 24, 2010 (UTC)
  • perhaps i should have worded it differently. My reason for it is that im trying to find a piece on information and im having trouble finding the planet, and thats all i could give for details. i was asking if people could name a few planets that have a bad reputation in order to find what im looking for. I think it would have been better to ask me to elaborate, instead of just deleting the post altogether. If its really so hard for me to get help here, let me know and ill go elsewhere.

Thank you for both your kind words and your support. I look forward to working with you in whatever way possible. :) CC7567 (talk) 02:28, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

Undercity sewers

Hi! Noticed that you were active on Undercity sewers Inq page and wanted to let you know that I'm trying to do some work for it in my subpage. Feel free to use it also. (: --Tm_T (Talk) 16:30, September 3, 2010 (UTC)

  • FYI I have done with the sewers for now, I copied my changes to the article. --Tm_T (Talk) 17:02, September 5, 2010 (UTC)

RE:Dark Council

Hey, Imp,

Yeah, because Teneb Kel was brought before the Dark Council and Vowrawn was named by Marr as though he was present, I felt that that was sufficient evidence to add him to the page. I can respect your point of view however, especially given the copius amounts of allusion with which TOR is permeated. I have no qualms about you removing him if you see fit.Tommy 9281 00:29, September 4, 2010 (UTC)

Processing vane

Hey Imp,

Processing vane has an entry in the CSWE and I wanted to create it, only discover you had deleted a previous version. I just wanted to know what prevents its creation, and what we can do to change it. Thanks,Tommy 9281 01:19, September 7, 2010 (UTC)

  • The original article consisted of one line: "its a pipe that wen a rebel uses it heavy laser cannon it will destroy all the imperial forces and gain the rebel a big fat victory!" It was promptly CSD tagged by a user, then deleted by me. If it's actually a valid subject then feel free to recreate it. Do you want me to restore the old revisions as well? --Imperialles 03:38, September 7, 2010 (UTC)

Battlefront III continued

I think the page needs to be reinstated but it needs to be edited down to what is actually known information instead of all the rumours and suchlike going on there. The discovery via a Gamespy server viewing application showing servers for BFIII is quite a good example that the game does, or at the very least, has existed (and the servers didn't exist before summer this year). This has also been tested out. As well as this, the fact also remains the "leaked footage" bears a massive striking resemblance to Elite Squadron, which also contains the Star Wars: Battlefront III watermark in its game files. However, it's your call. I say we need it reinstated but pared right down from what it was, and I never thought I'd actually say this, but the Wikipedia article is a good place to start that from. • I agree, there's evidence supporting it's existence, and even though it's technically a "Canceled game" at the moment, it should have an article detailing all that has lead up to it's cancellation. We all know LucasArts has BFIII somewhere, whether in storage or secretly moved to another developer remains. But the proof it exists/existed is there, it's all a matter of time before we find the truth in order to update it. Asian Inferno 08:08, January 21, 2011 (UTC)
    • The problem is, we can't operate out of an assumption that the evidence exists—we need to see something concrete. --Imperialles 17:42, February 5, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry

I would like to apologize for angering you with my fanon on the Jawa page, I had believed that I was on the wookiepedia fanon website and that you were a troll trying to put down my idea. When I was blocked though I did not understand why until actually reading the header on the page and realized how stupid I was, so I have since been trying a way to get through so that I can apologize I had no wish to anger you or anyone else, and am increadably sorry for my actions. • Okay. Don't worry about it. --Imperialles 17:42, November 5, 2011 (UTC)

Permatest

Hey Imp,

I was chosen for a TOR weekend test, but apparently admins are eligible for permatesting. If so, can you forward my Anvil9281@gmail to the appropriate parties please? Thanks,—Tommy 9281 Saturday, November 26, 2011, 21:10 UTC

  • Yes, I was able to get a number of Wookieepedians into the perma-testing pool. I am sorry to say that the time window in which this was possible has closed, and Bioware has asked all fan sites to not send in any more requests for beta access. --Imperialles 13:32, November 27, 2011 (UTC)
    • Ahh, I see. I wish I had known sooner, but it's all good. I'm glad for and satisfied with the experience I had. Thanks anyway, my friend.—Tommy 9281 Wednesday, November 30, 2011, 23:55 UTC

Your edit summaries

In the two months since you've decided to return to Wookieepedia and grace us with your presence, I've noticed a rather disturbing trend of rude and extremely insulting edit summaries aimed apparently at both individual users and the community alike. Being the veteran of Wookieepedia that you are, I shouldn't have to remind you that your behavior is contrary to the policies and guidelines of Wookieepedia:Civility and Wookieepedia:No personal attacks, and I'm issuing you this message so that it stops now. Thank you for your cooperation. Toprawa and Ralltiir 21:13, January 3, 2012 (UTC)

  • No personal attacks have been made, and cursing is explicitly allowed as per the second Mofference. Go away and stop wasting my time with ill-conceived baton-waving, or I can assure you I will report you for harassment. Thank you for your cooperation. --Imperialles 21:24, January 3, 2012 (UTC)

Dialog-error You have been blocked from editing for 3 months for your unacceptable and improper behavior aimed at other members of this community, as outlined by Wookieepedia:Civility and Wookieepedia:No personal attacks. It is my responsibility as an administrator of this wiki to enforce the rules of the community and block violators accordingly at my discretion, and I have determined you to be outside the bounds of what we consider tolerable behavior here. You have belittled and profaned ("Learn to source"; "this is lazy and shameful"; "are you fucking kidding me") other users with your rude and insulting edit summaries for the last time. If you can't bring your behavior in check while editing this wiki, we will check it for you. If you want to report me for administrative abuse and appeal my block, go right ahead. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. Toprawa and Ralltiir 21:38, January 3, 2012 (UTC)
