Ossus Library is now available and the maintenance mode has been switched off. In this topic there was a debate about switching Wookieepedia's Polish sister site from Empirepedia to Ossus Library. The result of the debate was change the Polish sister site to www.ossus.pl (Biblioteka Ossus) when it goes out of maintenance mode. - There's not much that the administrators of this wiki can do: we can't change the interwiki article links so they point at Ossus rather than the wiki-hosted Polish Star Wars wiki. Wikia themselves would have to do that (which would probably mean they'd have to shut down that wiki.) It might be better to ask someone on the central Wikia wiki. It seems to me that we should link to Ossus, since it's about nine times larger than the other wiki. However, until the interwiki links work, I don't know if we should change the front page link. As for the official friend status, I'll ask one of the other admins what we're doing about that. —Silly Dan (talk) 12:31, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

- Again, I'll reiterate that Silly Dan is correct that this has to be done by a system admin with Wikia. I will try to contact them next week about it. As to the "official friend" status, I don't see it being relevant here. As I mentioned on the friend nomination thread, I don't think that there is need for an "official friend" being the same conceptual thing as our sister site. So I would rather just have our sister site change, which is what we all ended up deciding to do. Being a "friend" is assumed when you are a sister site; it's just not needed any longer. - The admins here have updated the "pl" language link now. I went to the Polish site, and it looks like you do not have Interlanguage linking turned on, so there's no way to link to the English version of one of your articles. Could you check into getting this enabled on your side? This is the best use of the software and how it's designed to be used. WhiteBoy 15:59, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
