Meeting Eleven will, hopefully, be a shorter meeting aimed at reviewing some current FA's to see if they need to be stripped of their status. If there are any that you feel stick out, then please add them to the below list.

A small addition to our character FA's, or new FAN's, who have special powers needs to be looked at. It has been discussed by some Inqs that for character articles where special powers are present, especially those of Jedi & Sith, need to have a "Powers and abilities" section written which would be separate from the "Personality and traits". Discuss.

Also, it is evident that we need to hire some new Inqs as well as remove some inactive ones from the ranks. Both sets of names will not be brandished here, but can wait until the meeting. If you have any suggestions for hopeful-Inqs, please make a note of it.

Anything else that the Inqs feel need to be added to the agenda, by all means, add away! Meeting Eleven will be on September 22/23.

Agenda

Expand as needed

  • Review Ephant Mon. Ataru had some specific comments about this one, so that will be left to him.
  • Review Selkath. Some concerns about Shaelas and fanon/OR.
  • Review Manaan. Ditto on the fanon/OR concerns.
  • Review Form IV: Ataru. Concerns about trivia and the legal status of the gallery.
  • Review Vuffi Raa. Prose issues, particularly in the "Early life" section. Much of the article is unsourced. Pitiful BTS and P&T.
  • Adding the requirement of a Powers and abilities section to characters that have them
  • Hire new Inqs!
  • Remove inactive Inqs (with good reason/cause)
  • Regular Inq Meetings?! One of the downsides of having a freakin' huge queue is that articles may not be FA material when they're about to show up on the main page. It is proposed that Inqs meet more regularly (like maybe once/twice a month?) if for no other purpose than to make sure main page articles still deserve to be there.
  • Kill kill kill kill kill. Incompletely ref'd, fairly undetailed (The entire TTT in two paragraphs? Come on!) horrific image placement . . . this is not a Featured Article.
  • Obi-Wan Kaboom. The link should say it all. Not completely referenced, wretched layout of Appearances section, Trivia section, pathetic detail from Clone Wars video game, Battle of Kamino, etc. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 21:54, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Votes/Thoughts/Ideas from Absentees

  • Being as that I'll very, very likely be at that ballgame:
    • Mon can probably go unless someone brings up a compelling reason to save it.
    • Whatever consensus is on the Manaan stuff, I'll go with that.
    • If there is a trivia section, kill it. If there is information some consider trivial, keep it. I don't give a damn about the gallery one way or the other.
    • Require it.
    • Against any new Inq candidate. I know who's likely to get proposed, and I say not yet.
    • I don't think we've had any be so grossly inactive as to merit a boot out . . . we're better off talking to them and asking if they want to stay in. If they do, let them and tell them to step it up. If they don't, they can resign.
    • Indifferent to meetings.

  • My absentee thoughts:
    • Abstaining vote for now on Mon since I have no idea what Ataru's gonna say.
    • Abstaining vote for now on Manaan since I don't know squat about the subject matter and wouldn't be able to tell OR from KOTOR minutia.
    • Turn the Form IV gallery into a list. I don't see anything wrong with the BTS section besides the last item lacking a source link.
    • Require it.
    • I vote yes on Graestan, abstain on anybody else who might be proposed.

  • I'll be on vacation until the 28th, so here's my absentee stuff:
    • Kill Mon. POV issues and a really poor BTS.
    • Selkath: The BTS is horrible. Remove.
    • Manaan: The BTS can be significantly expanded with information from BioWare employees regarding level design, etc. Remove.
    • Form IV: Clean up the BTS to comply with WP:TRIVIA. Remove the gallery. Remove FA status unless fixed.
    • Vuffi Raa: Remove unless the issues are resolved.
    • For requiring "Powers and abilities."
    • I know that Graestan is nominated. I vote yes.
    • Per Havac on the inactive Inqs.

Results

  • Attendance was low, though proxy votes certainly helped. All noms except Form IV: Ataru were placed on probation. Powers and Abilities section is now mandated for Force-sensitive characters. Graestan is now part of the Inquisitorius. Inactive Inqs are scheduled to be talked to about whether or not they wish to remain in the Inquisitorius, though no names were specifically decided or details discussed.
