Death trooper

  • Here's the proof. The movie! Every Death Trooper on Scarif was killed and there was no other death troopers after the battle.     • DT-5537's squad would've been called to Scarif if they weren't on the planet. Let's say that DT-5537 and some other death troopers survived scarif or weren't on the planet. Tarkin, Vader or someone in the high ranks would gather the remaining death troopers and probably get them on the death star because there isn't that many bases anymore at the time thanks to The Specters and Rouge One. Hi, I was one of the people who originally contributed to the description of the return to Mon Cala arc. Everything you removed is actually found on the bluray. During one of the documentaries, it shows George Lucas and Dave Filoni looking at a whiteboard, and on the whiteboard were story outlines for the first few episodes of the arc.     • Hmm, I feel it would be a shame to disregard such a good image just because of this. I think there could be a case to make that goes around the rule, because the original version of the image is unavailable. TOR appearances

I hate to bring this up again, but the appearances for regular numbered updates really should not be listed under the base game, but rather under the latest expansion instead. The Horizon Guard page is yet another example of how the current system makes no sense: they were explicitly introduced in the expansion that takes place after the base game, but the Appearances section does not indicate that, making it seem like they appeared before KOTET, which is not the case. The game is continuous, and it just looks weird for Update 2.10 to be listed under the base game, 3.0 under expansion name, but then for 3.1 and 3.2 to return to using just Star Wars: The Old Republic for appearances, resulting in odd gaps that break the chronological order.

The current system is already very inconsistent: everything from 4.1 to 4.7 is listed under KOTFE, even the Eternal Championship and alerts which are not part of the Chapters; second wave of Uprisings released in 5.1 are treated as part of KOTET, and Galactic Strongholds includes not just its own game Update, but everything that was ever added as a decoration. For example, Odessen page makes it look like the planet was mentioned in the game before it appeared in KOTFE, which is not true at all.

The Appearances section is meant to list works in their chronological order, which is especially useful for casual readers with no prior knowledge of the subject. As it stands right now, anyone who don't play the game themselves would get the wrong idea when looking at that section. My proposal would fix that: everything that appeared in the game from the start would be listed in every expansion, but latest additions would only include the most recent one, creating a clear visual divide between elements that were added in the game in 2011 and 2018. Isn't the goal of the wiki to be useful to readers in the first place? I would like to bring this to a more open discussion, but I do not know how. --77.111.246.9 08:46, July 11, 2018 (UTC)

Re:Warning

As you may have seen before the edits there were no |right for most of them and there still pages without |right for there images. When a user adds a new image they need to make sure that it follows the order of the other images, before and after. Hey! Thanks for reaching out. I just wanted to let you know that all of the information in the article derives from canonical sources. I understand the confusion regarding my use of the word "hegemony", as that particular word was never used, but I will explain my reasoning. Geopolitically-speaking, that is how it would best be described, basing such upon how it has been institutionally described. The word "hegemony" is never used, yeah, but it fits the description of such; I made use of the terminology for the sake of brevity. Also, as far as the Aristocra is concerned, both Thrawn novels have described the Aristicra as being the collective alignment of the Chiss Ascendancy's ruling houses. Marvel Comics

Hey Ruiz. I'm not going to get into edit warring, been around long enough to know better. But I strongly disagree with your choice to roll back the Marvel Comics page. I've always felt that the Wook is at its best when it's at its most accessible—that (within our rules) it should always be at its most readable for the layperson. The way the page was laid out prior to my restructure, which you've restored it to, has been an increasingly unreadable mess as the number of titles published in the Disney era has proliferated. That was why I took the time to restructure it at all: to make it less of a jumbled disaster of a page. I strongly feel that the past and now current iteration of the page does not best service readers. You apparently disagree. TCW Revival Canon within Legends?

Hi DarthRuiz30, I wanted to ask you something apparently anybody has questioned.

Now that the Star Wars: The Clone Wars revival is getting made, I wanted to ask you this: The revival could be considered canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity. After all, Legends comprised The Clone Wars along the first six original films, so I don't see why the revival couldn't be made. Additionally, as we don't know Ahsoka Tano's fate in Legends, the revival could provide more insight on her last Clone Wars days adventures, so she could end faking her death but don't addign information of Ahsoka as that novel is canon and not Legends.

Perhaps we could do nominations and voting for it?

Book Of Sith: Secrets From The Darkside

Hello, I have a quick question regarding Referencing the Book "Book of Sith: Secrets From The Darkside" on the Wiki Fandom page about Pressure grip. Said book says in it information about pressure grips, specifically the ability to "align" the grip with "your unique biology" then states only the person who aligned it to their specific being.

My question is, is it okay/allowed to put specific information from the copyrighted book and adding the information about aligning it to one's biology on the Pressure Grip page? I'm not exactly familiar with that is or is not okay when writing down the information from the book onto this site.

Capitalization

Hi, what is the appropriate article title to use when two sources disagree on how something is capitalized? Specifically the Five Syndicates/five syndicates. Solo junior novel capitalizes both words and expanded edition uses all lowercase letters. Which should I use? I'm having trouble finding an answer on my own. Thanks! As regards the future of the Alliance, yeah, going by the the script for this Jedi under Siege storyline that the dataminers over at swtor.jedipedia.net have dug up, the Alliance is still a major player, yet significantly reduced. I won't give any spoilers, but it's more or less just Lana, the player, and Theron (if he was allowed to live) being asked by their 'equals' in the Republic or Empire to "aid" (read:work for) them.
