"Sir, over there, the Jedi is escaping."
"Not likely."
―A B1 battle droid and a B2-HA super battle droid — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)[6]

The B2-HA super battle droid was a heavy weapons variant of the B2-series super battle droid used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars,[2] even fighting in the First Battle of Geonosis.[7]

Characteristics

The B2-HA super battle droid was a more powerful variant of the B2-series super battle droid, with one arm sporting a warhead or torpedo launcher, instead of the standard built-in laser cannon.[3] The missile launcher was capable of firing homing rockets.[6] B2-HA super battle droids also had heavy weapons and artillery, as well as thick armor and aggressive programming.[3] They could be seen leading droids like B1-series battle droids,[6] despite not being programmed for tactics or leadership.[3] Like the standard B2,[8] the B2-HA was 1.93 meters (6 feet, 4 inches) tall,[3] had masculine programming and red photoreceptors.[2]

History

Tasked with leading a patrol, a B2-HA was part of the Hissrich droid unit led by the droid mercenary AD-W4.[9] One B2-HA led B1 battle droids on the planet Rodia.[6]

During the Imperial Era, many B2-HAs were reprogrammed by the Bedlam Raiders on the planet Koboh. Amongst their forces was a modified unit known as "Beetu Deetu."[5]
